~3 weeks since germination.
6 nodes so far. I'm going to plan to top it once it gets established in the big pot.
Changes to this grow:
•No big nutes for the first 4 weeks. I'm hoping that the soil will provide enough nutrients on its own. Obviously will reasses if things aren't going well.
** I did add 1/2 Tbsp molasses and 5 pumps of 1:1:1 Dr. Earth Pure Gold to the first watering of the big pot. This will help support the transition (as the seedling mix was running out of nutes) and support the soil microbes.
• Using compost tea instead of dry nutes. I'll be mixing the nutes with water as directed on the bags, but probably doing half strength. Hoping the liquid makes it easier to absorb the nutrients. I will likely put the lees from the tea into compost.
• Conditioning Tap Water - I'll be using an aquarium water conditioner, and possibly using a carbon filter as well. I used filtered water last time, but didn't account for Chloramine.
• Topping - this is a vigorous strain, so I plan to top once established and do some more vigorous and deliberate LST of the lower branches.
•Light Forcing - after I get the plant to the fullness desired, I plan to switch to 18-6 lighting, and then 12-12 once flowers form.
I will continue to do LST, and 24 hour lights during vege.
