Life after Leaf

Buds are starting to fatten up now. 3 of the 4 strains are new to me so im curious to see how they turn out. I've been slacking on keeping diaries current with what I'm doing so im just gonna jump in and hit the ground running instead of trying to catch u all up on the past. Itll never happen and I'll just keep waiting for a good time. I've already had 5 plants I've harvested since October that I never even mentioned on here....sorry I'm a slacker :(.

Day 1- watered .25 gal each and added 1/4tsp Flower Fuel + 2tsp terpenator. 6.2ph 440ppm. Run off ppm was pretty high yesterday in 3of the 4 so I will probably check it again tomorrow. Gonna pay attention to how many ppm it goes down to see who's the hungriest Day 2- gonna let em dry out another day then feed them around 1200ppm. I'm curious what will happen if use more base nutrients and less additives. Also scared to try cuz ive been very pleased with my results so far. Let's see how tomorrow me feels lol Day 3- fed flora nova bloom 800-900ppm then added 1tsp tiger bloom and 1ml floralicous plus. Final ppm was 1225, 1325and ph was 6.1. 2 gallons of nutrient solution and barely any run off so they definitely needed it. Feel like the zdf got noticeably fatter today over the last day or 2👍 Day 4- didnt do anything except peek in and check them out. Day 5- watered 3 gallons with flower fuel, molasses, terpenator added. 275-325ppm 6.3ph. Not nearly as much run off as I expected. I actually only planned on 2 gallons but only the fire og had an adequate amount of runoff. It's also the 1 that doesnt currently need to lose some ppm from its soil. Next will probably be day 7 with just H20 and I'll check the runoff for ppm+ph and figure out my plan for the finishing these off. Day 6- nothing to be done today. Just staying outta the way and letting em do their thing. Plain h20 tomorrow then check the run off and go from there. Might start flushing the zdf soon. Think it was a 60 day flower time but I'll have to check. Day 7- watered with plain H2O and a little molasses. Checked run off ppm+ph. ZDF ppm was higher than had expected so I'm going to water with flora kleen possibly tomorrow. ZDF+CMOG should be ready in 2-3wks so I may just begin flushing the ZDF and give CMOG 1 more feeding since its ppm came back much lower. Other 2 will most likely get 2 more weeks then a 2 week flush.

Day 1- florakleen for the ZDF and plain h20 for the rest. Run off ppm was a little screwy compared to yesterday. I'm sure its cuz I'm collecting it from the trays underneath them and cant remove them to wash. Tried scrubbing them best I could the other day.... my best wasnt good lol. My newest group I got going in my other diary will be much mor accessible and maneuverable. Day 2- did nothing except look at plants and remove a few fan leaves. I stared at them as hard as I could tho. Day 3- real light feeding around 500ppm then gone for the weekend. 2 gallons between the 4 of them. A little base bloom nutrient, terpenator, molasses. Gonna plan on flushing from here out. Day 4- 🚫 Day 5- should have watered but I fell asleep after I got home and before the lights came on. Day 6- 2 gallons of 6.4ph h2O as soon as the lights came on. Luckily no major underwatering damage. A couple leaves looked droopy but thats all that appeared to be wrong. Day 7- gave a nice watering with lots of runoff. Used florakleen on the zdf and cmog. They look like they probably have at least another week maybe even 2 to me. But what the hell do I know...? Haha. Trichs will tell the story ultimately. I'm anxious to finish these so i can fill it back up with zdf and cmog and investigate how pot size impacts each plants yield.

So it turns out what I thought was a fire og is most likely not and I have no way of finding out what strain it is. Day 1- getting super excited. Fire og has been hiding in the back doing work! touched up my defoliating job today. Also saw a couple trichs starting to turn amber on the CMOG. Want to make it another week-10days if possible without losing significant thc. Day 2- h2o+molasses. That was it today. Day 3- h2o+checked runoff and ph collected in clean container instead of dirty trays under plants. Zdf- 6.4ph 1100ppm (😧) way too high for almost being ready, 7-10 days left . Got some flushing to do tomorrow. Cmog- 6.5ph 525ppm (🤔)seens just about right for final week to me. Fre?- 6.3ph 745ppm (😐) probably a full 2 weeks left still. Should be in good shape. Glue- 6.6ph 385pm(🤭) will likely need to give another feeding. Probably about 10-14 days out still. Day 4- a whole lot of nothing today. Letting em dry out another day. Probably all in my head but I feel like I see more size to the buds every time I skip a day and let em dry out to the point of actually needing water instead of keeping them in a constant state of good hydration. Possibly causing just enough stress to the plants to make them do the stuff we like but not make it panic and start doing weird shit? Guess we will find out soon enough 😁 Day 5- watered ZDF, CMOG, ?. Fed superglue bloom and floralicous plus at 1020ppm 6.1ph. Run off tested must better CMOG- 345ppm 6.6ph ZDF- 405ppm 6.5ph GLUE- 775ppm 6.3ph (1020ppm going in) ?- 645ppm 6.3ph only water from here out Day 6- just took some pics and checked out trichs. A couple amber on cmog. May harvest this weekend. Well see what the trichomes have to say as the week goes on lol Day 7- watered and gave a little extra to the ZDF. Runoff tested at 550ppm. Watered little amounts and allowed to leech slowly then caught the 1st runoff runoff coming so it shouldve been at ithighest concentration. Hopefully it drops much lower. I probably wont be happy if it's over 100ppm come harvest. That's roughly 25 higher than my tap water so I think I'm cuttin myself a lot of slack here. Lol

Started off fast and kept growing. All this group got what I believe was zinc deficiency and completely stopped all growth for 4-6 weeks until i was able to get everything back in balance. All in all the plant didnt give me any trouble besides that and a stretch that about doubled the height and had my lights about as high as I could raise them. Very leafy buds so it was a chore to trim. Potent stuff. Everybody so far has told me it kicked their ass. Smells extremely citrusy, to the point I kinda feel like I did something wrong cuz I've never smelled any bud like it in my life. I enjoy it cuz I'm able to be active or lazy when I smoke it similar to my reviews of the superglue I have36511

Day 1- did nothing but look at trichomes and get irritated with the instruments I used to do it. Digital microscope on the way. Day 2- 1 gal of water between all 4. Indecisive about my next move. Day 3- started trimming so I dont have like 12hrs to do on harvest day. Shooting for tomorrow after I get to use my new microscope. Got a trichome stick which works if u can hold the plant and yourself perfectly still in awkward positions and dont need to breathe more than once every few minutes. Same with my jeweler's loop. Unfortunately none of that works for me. I know they're close and I really need to free up the tent so I'm planning to harvest regardless. Considering watering and doing 2-3 days of dark if I still dont like ppm of run off. But thatll be that much longer before I can put the group that I intended to be in there where I want them and ease the clusterfuck I got right now. Wish I had somewhere to dry these other than the tent I desperately need but I dont so that's that. Hopefully they dry in 5-7 days. Getting a jungle going in my other tent and I need to reclaim control of it before I screw myself. Guess I'll water and go from there Day 4- harvest. Got the super glue trimmed, started the ? But couldnt finish. Day 5- finished ? Still got cmog+ZDF to trim 😩 Day 6- trimmed chocolate mint og today. May start zdf. So over it. Started 3 new strains last night, hoping they all germinate and grow to be big and potent lol

Just wanted to put some pics up while I wait for everything to finish drying and curing. Gonna try to be patient this time lol. Made a collage of the crazy growth u get from monster cropping and got some pics of my buds✌️. Total yield appears to be right about 370g-375g which is almost 1.5oz more than I had hoped for and about 3.5oz more than I expected to get. Buds mostly arent as big as I'd like with the exception of the chocolate mint OG which had the best shaped and best sized buds. Also the best smelling. ZDF took biggest yield at 117g, Chocolate mint and ? Tied for 2nd with 96g. Superglue remains undefeated as frostiest and densest of the bunch but only yielded 65g(my fault-was just a throw in for shits n gigs). tried cmog and zdf . Both were smooth and had good flavor for just going into jars today.

This strain is probably the easiest overall of the ones I have grown. Plenty of space between nodes for light penetration, buds are extremely frosty + rock hard, leaf to calyx ratio makes trimming super easy. Having less leaves makes it very forgiving if u water a day late. Easy to clone too. This strain has a considerable stretch when switched to flower so prepare for it to at least double in height, possibly try to triple if u let it. If u like frosty rock hard buds with that classic minty/piney flavor and also enjoy decent yields with minimal labor...u must give this 1 a shot. I might try to herm a little 1 I have for some seeds. Dont wanna let this 1 go but it's time for me to move on.
