Seedlings stretched in the propagator so had to plant them before growing serrated leaves but the roots were showing through the starter cube. Struggling with lower humidity
I lost one seedling, I don’t think it could establish its roots. The other one that was the runt to begin with is now thriving. Starting to drop the light down by an hour every 2 days until I get to 12
This week growth has really sped up. Topped it on Friday and started tying her down Saturday and Sunday. Now I’m down to one, I’m going to try and get her to fill my whole space
Today’s the first day she’s been on 12/12. Probably should’ve flipped last week as she’s getting a bit of a handful. Let’s hope she’s as easy in flower as she has been in veg.
I let the water run out for a day but brought her back the day after. She seems to be slowing down since flipping. Hopefully she’ll crack on a bit now she’s recovered
She seems to have recovered well from running out of water and there’s been some steady growth this week. Buds are starting to develop. Looks as if I should have a few colas. Some of the fan leaves are turning purple at the tips, I think this is normal for the strain. I have some brown spots on a couple of leaves that I do not know the cause
Thought the leaves getting the spots as shown was a cal/mag deficiency. Used bio balance that helps with uptake. I also trimmed off the affected leaves. Problem came back. Now think it’s a potassium deficiency so have given her son bio floret this morning, so hopefully that will get her back to normal. Light ended up 10-12 inches from 2 colas so they have experienced a bit of light burn at the top of the bud.
The nutrient boost doesn’t seem to have sorted the leaf issue. Buds seem to be fattening up ok. Two colas are deformed at the top from light burn. I’m guessing this may have been the cause that made it hermie. I’ve removed the sacs so hopefully will get some product at the end that I can use for bubble or something
I still can’t get to the bottom of the leaf issue. Ive gave extra nutes that have potassium and calcium but no change. I’m hoping that it has stopped spreading. Buds are starting to fatten up. Hopefully be ready in a few weeks
I think the cause of the leaf symptoms was environmental. I have added a fan between the canopy and the light and it seems to have stopped the spread. The worse colas seem to be recovering a bit. All a big learning curve on my first grow. Next one will hopefully go smoother
This week is the last week I’m flowering. Most trichromes are cloudy and a few are amber. Going to stop feeding it to dry it out a bit and put it in 48hrs of darkness
