In House Royal Jelly

Very cold weather pushed back the flip because I flower in an insulated shed outside, but it can't handle temps below 15 degrees. 105 days of veg total. I topped in the 3rd week then again in weeks 5, 7 and 9 (only bc I knew I'd be in veg for weeks longer). ONLY Coco Loco in a 1g carried her through to 105 days, with only 1 top-dress (about an inch) of Coco Loco with Grow Dots (medium strength). Top-dress happened in week 8.

Exactly 2 wks later. And a week after I really wanted to flip but had to wait.

Wk 1 of Flower, in the 3x2 tent which is inside the big shed outside so temp and rh control are critical. AC Infinity T3 Forge is a GODSEND, maintaining 73F - 40rh all day and night with only 500w! Oyster Shell and Grow Dots (medium) in COCO LOCO 3g pot. I will probably top-dress in Week 7-8 depending on how she looks. Recharge every other Water, Armor Si and CalMag every Water. WxxxxxWxxxxxW is my sched.

No changes from Week 1 of flower. I defoliated, stripped out some smaller branches the same day.

More of the same - 1 water this week (Calmag and Recharge) @ 6.5ph. Was worried about the stretch but I stripped a bit out in Wk1 and may have stunted them a little. You can barely tell now, but they're only going to get so much bigger. Using the T3 Forge (Heater) and it's keeping temps locked in but rh a little low (35-40). Lollipop'd again 20 days in (1st time I did it a week earlier than I should've- in day 4 of flower) and this time she's super-happy and reaching the next day. What that early lollipop also did was make the node-spacing the best I've ever seen at this point of flower. barely an inch between nodes so we'll see how that goes. This Royal Jelly is a bit of a test run, even after 3 yrs of growing I wanted to learn some new shit, to see what 90+ days of veg looks like, what an early defol does (no that wasn't in the plan but still), and when to harvest for the most sedative, head-cracking results. RJ isn't a strain I know, but my 4 Chem Cookies (GMO) will hopefully benefit from being a month behind. Va is hopefully done with sub-20 weather, which is all I need with the new heater (and it's only 500w compared to the 1500w fire-hazards I was using to keep my shed warm) and I'll get another for the big tent, just bc it regulates the temp/rh so well.

Defoliation in wk1 definitely affected the stretch. She should've grown another foot, but I was too aggressive soon after flipping (and transplanting) I lollipop'd, in fact, more than defol'd and stripped out too much. I never expected a favorite strain out of this grow because I started it in Oct just to see what I could get away with. Still she's doing great, and I'll take it as an important lesson right before (what I hope is) a big ass high-thc GMO grow that's finishing Veg right now. Inhouse has impressed me so many times so I'm still optimistic about the quality but I just love to grow so regardless this has been a fun one. Watered with just Calmag @ 6.5. and still doing 5 days without watering. Still very green and healthy but colder weather means the heater kicks on more, which brings rh down to 30% but it should warm up next week. And I'll learn from it, seeing how healthy they are. No signs they need a top dress at all, but when my past grows have failed/sucked, signs appeared in wks 6-7-8 so I'm watching more closely, and giving Calmag to the end (in Coco Loco). Beginning of WK5. Nothing to report, and I've done nothing but look at them this week, but getting frosty, stacked and they're super healthy. Watering every 5 days but that may shrink down to 4 in WK6. Loving the ACInfinity T3 Forge (heater) - picked up another one for my big tent. It's the maintaining of a constant temp and rh that has so much value for me, growing in a shed that goes 40 to 70 in no time. Thanks for visiting!
