This is my first dwc grow so the beginning started with a learning curve on water level. Ended up letting my rapid rooter dry completely out for about a day and a half killing almost all root growth but after a few days of having the right water level she came back to life and roots are growing rapidly. On the day 8 picture I noticed some pink on my leaves. Hopefully I get some colorful flowers out of this girl!!

Hey HalfBreed, you have root rot from not using a chelation or cleansing agent . Anything that looks brown dark brownish, you can litterally clip off , this technique is called root pruning, it wont shock or hurt your plant, in fact it might promote growth. To prevent this from happening you want something like hydroguard and to add a chelation agent like enzymes or humic and fluvic acids so that you prevent this problem rather than chase it or solve it once it's too late. Anyway, hope this helps ! 🚀

To further on my question the slime doesn’t seem to have effected my growth her leaves still look healthy.

@@HalfBreed, to me h2o2 is a flushing agent so I wouldn't risk the shock to the roots 👊🏻

@CRiSPrGrow,hey man take a look at my root pics the last pic is as of today do you think I should do h202 at the end of the week or do you think she’s looking better?

@@HalfBreed, the hydroguard will help, but i'm not sure it will turn the roots back full white , try root prunning on the worst affected roots, litterally just clip them off, dont cut more than 20% of the total root mass though, anything less than 20% should be okay. main thing you need is patience at this point though. 👊
