I dropped seeds in water for a few days until I saw a decent taproot or start of one and then placed them in a jiffy pellet and in a humidity dome under my shelf T5 seed/clone system. I’ve read good things about this strain and I’ve been looking forward to growing this plant for awhile. She will have a tent partner to grow into a healthy SCROG and I hope to reap a bountiful harvest!
She’s the only seed from the next batch that is doing anything. I had to start over with the others. Much slower growth under the shelf T-5s, but it will have to do until the tents are free.
Day 27: finally got the tent cleared out and ready for the springtime Dinafem SCROG!!
Day 28: I decided to transplant to 1gal so the stems would have better support and start a better root structure. It was a little earlier than I normally would, but they are behind a bit from where I wanted to be, so I figure get the roots going in a better soil environment.
Day 35: she’s very much enjoying her new 1gal home. Huge growth in the last week. I’ve also kept watering to a minimum this round to make sure I don’t over water. I rubbed the stalk today and she smells delicious already.
Day 37: topped her down leaving 4 nodes (counting the first set of single-fingered serrated leaves).
Day 41: She’s responding well to her new 7gal home and is growing like a weed now!
Day 44: LST round 1! I’ll let her grow for a few days and do the second topping.
Day 55: did some more LST tie downs to spread the canopy. Just a few more weeks and back under the screen!
Day 59: I already had to tie them back down a second time. They are growing like crazy now!
Day 62: the plants are getting super bushy. I’ll be installing the screen soon and letting them do their thing for a few weeks before flipping.
Day 66: after adjusting the LST for a few days, it was finally time to install the screen. I’ll let them do their thing for a bit before flipping.
Day 69: I believe I was having a small heat issue, so I turned off the space heater in the room and the temps have lowered to a reasonable range.
Day 70: things are looking much better with the lower temps. It’s wont me long now before the flip!
Day 76: not quite enough growth to fill enough of the screen for flowering yet. I’m going to try another week before flipping. Smells delicious in there!
Day 83: flower time at last!! I flipped the light to 12/12 last night, so today is flower day 1. I’m hoping for a decent stretch to fill the screen in the next few weeks. The tent smells delicious!
Day 90: starting flower week 2 and the stretch is on! I had to do some serious tucking today to spread everything out. She is so stinky, my hands smell like I just harvested. 3/4 gallon every other day seems to be adequate for her and starting early bloom nutes this week.
Day 98: into the third week of flower now and they are really flourishing! I’ll be defoliating some more later this week. The tent continues to increase in aroma and really smacks me in the face when I open the tent. I’ve had to raise the light to accommodate the stretch. Pistils are forming and things are getting exciting!!
Day 104: I did a major defol last week to get as much light to the buds as possible. The tent continues to smell better and better! The buds are definitely underway now and the excitement continues to build! Still watering 3/4 gal every other day with a water/feed schedule.
Day 111: the buds are well underway now and everything is Iooking and smelling great! It’s been very rainy here and my humidity is higher than I’d like, but the plant seems to not mind at all. With plenty of airflow, I think I’ll be ok.
Day 116: wow wow wow! The stench in the tent is absolutely amazing! There is so much resin even on the leaves. Just moving and tucking leaves leaves my hands extremely sticky! Only a few more weeks left!
Day 123: Entering the 7th week of flower now and she is packing on the trichomes. There is so much glistening goodness, even on the leaves! Only a few more weeks now. Trichomes are still clear with no cloudiness yet. I upped the MammothP from 2ml/gal to 4ml/gal. I should have been at 2.5-3ml, but I forgot to increase the dosage. Feeding EH late flower nutes this week. Regretfully, I hate to say that she's been growing some nanners and I found what I believe to be a few seeds on a couple of buds. I haven't seen it spread to her tent mate, but I've been plucking a few here and there over the last few days. I am getting them when they are small, so hopefully, it's too late in the game for much damage. Had the same thing happen in the other tent with one plant growing nanners and the other one is not. I don't know how I've stressed them, if I did at all. Oh well, it's late in the run anyway, so there's not much I can do but pluck them.
Day 130: A couple more weeks until she's ready for harvest. I'm not seeing any more nanners, so that's a great sign that I caught them in time. (I hope!) What a beautiful plant!
Day 132: Upon further inspection, I believe this babe is ready for flushing! There is already some amber and I'm going to plan on chopping in a week!
Day 137: I did a big flush on day 134 and got the runoff ppm's down below 300ppm. I was flushing with pH'd 147ppm water (well water) and I suspect the residue in the collection pan is bringing the ppm's up a little. I fed 1ml EH nutes for final flushing and will be giving water only until I harvest on day 142/143. She smells absolutely delicious and I cannot wait to get her dried and cured and smoke some of this amazing looking strain! Almost there!!
