Starting this diary with the Lonely Girl on day 84 from seed. She is from my previous diary, so for all info on weeks leading up to today please see my diary "Did I Do That" .
This girl looks like she might finally be starting to flower. She is an auto, but when her sisters soared into flower mode she just stayed in veg. Ended up in veg for 74 days, much longer than I would even run photos. Was thinking of tossing her, but on advice from this site tried flipping to 12/12 about 12 days ago and it looks like itay have gotten her to start flowering. Hoping for the best, and that she doesn't grow much taller!
All I can say is that she is FINALLY flowering!! Looks like the auto part didn't quite catch properly, so this girl is a fast flower version of her auto sisters.
She is stacking large with bud sites going easily 12+ inches down the branches all connected. Stalk is getting quite thick, just a bit thicker than a standard size Robertson screwdriver grip.
Running the lights closer than normal since she's only getting 12 hours of light aiming for 850umol/s right now and will bump it to 900-1000umol/s by end of next week to really get her producing.
Well this girl may be living the bachelorette life but she is living it large! Bud sites everywhere with very tight stacking. The main cola is a good 10-12" taller than canopy even with training. Purple already showing up in the leaves and lots of crystal already for only week 3 flower. I'm guessing this will be the darker of the two bud types, looks similar to the back plant from her sister grow in the 4x4.
Really glad decided to give this girl a grow and not toss her when she didn't flower, hopefully she thanks me with big bountiful buds 🤞
Well here we are again! Really not much to say this week, only work done was a light defoliation mid week, otherwise just checking on her every few days to make sure no issues popping up. So far smooth sailing since flipping to 12/12. Buds are stacked so high each branch just looks like one long massive bud. Starting to see lots of trichome development starting, frosting up nicely already.
Let's keep on keeping on and see what this week brings!
Another hands off week, zero work done on this lonely girl, just letting her recover from the defoliation early last week and pack on some weight. Seeing lots of trichome production happening. Buds are noticeably larger this week, and starting to see a nice dark purple hue on many of them, save for the main cola. Main cola is much closer to the light so wonder if it will remain more of a green than purple bud. Guess we will just have to wait and see! Let's hope things keep cruising along and watch this girl finish up
My lord this lady is packing on weight! Usually ladies don't like to hear that, but this girl is more than happy to keep packing it on. Did a good defoliation early week, got about 3 gallons of leaves! Took almost an hour, could have been quicker but the 3x3 I have does not have side access doors and it's on a corner so I have to get a little creatine to reach the whole plant when it comes to cleanup time. Guess she's pretty stinky, after the cleanup my wife said you could smell the plant in the bedroom, which is directly upstairs hahaha.
Buds are just swelling and really packing on the crystal. You can see the main cola is the size of three tallboys! Probably my largest colas yet, and they're rock hard and sticky AF.
Upped the big bud and terpene enhancer last week and will continue to feed at higher levels until flush week. Since she's acting slightly photo want to make sure the extra nutes are there if she needs em. Lights are 90%, humidity gets a bit high overnight when temps drop but lights on sit right around 58%. This plants has maxed this tent out! 4" fan running hard but lots of airflow so not worrying.
Here we are ending week 7 of flower and this girl's is still going strong. Colours are really starting to show with nice deepening purple buds speckled with orange. Smell is incredible, can't put my finger on it but every time I open the tent I stink up the entire 8x20 room hahaha.
Still amazed by the size of the buds on this girl. I've grown taller plants, but never with this big a bud structure. Easily as thick as a beer can, if not larger for some. Good thing this girl has super thick legs! Most buds easily 18" long, some as long as 30" 🤯. Seriously gotta love autopots. If my kushberry get large I will put one in this tent and see if she also gets massive buds. Kinda wonder if it's the amount of light she's receiving, about 275W for one plant in the 3x3 VS 465W for 2-4 plants in the 4x4. Would mean about 1000W in a 4x4 for the amount of power being used in the 3x3 right now. Something to play around with and figure out I guess!
Well here we are, only a week or two from finishing and this girl's has been a champ! Nothing happening this week aside from watching the buds finish swelling and colours coming in on the leaves. Smell is overwhelming stank, with a sweet undertone just filling the room (and the one above!) when I open the tent. Starting to notice water consumption is down to 2L or less per day which is not a lot for a plant this size, that combined with the colours and the leaves starting to dry and curl makes me believe that there's maybe 7-10 days to go. Not going to rush her, but will start checking trichomes daily to try and nail the perfect harvest window. The last week or two always feel the longest!
Pretty quiet week this week. Got her switched to flushing mode and am just sitting back and watching the trichomes finish. Over the last 7-10 days have seen them for from 50/50 to 90/10 if not 95/5 (cloudy/clear) and should start seeing some reds in next day or so. Don't mind at all if she flushes longer than a week, good to get all the salts out and whatnot.
Have noticed an even further deepening of the purple on the buds and sugar leaves. She's gonna be quite the harvest! Time to prqctic our patience....
