Sup, I've now gotten over my fret of deficiency and leaf problems, basically (I know I'm repeating myself) it was light damage and over feeding. I've now been watching my plants like a hawk to notice any minimal changes and adjust parameters accordingly. Soooo not really much has changed but I'm watering/feeding more minimal and on a tighter schedule. I've also started to noticed compaction of soil over time which is a given but I can now start seeing exposed roots, I'll make sure to fill and compact the soil a little more from the start.
Onto the good points, Ol' jackie is really starting to get more hench and solid, I know she's meant to be a little airy because of her genes but by gawd she's fattening up, when I grab a bud it no longer compresses but instead goes solid like some of that non-newtonian shit when you mess around with that....errr, she's starting to stink too, really citrus elements and zingy, can't remember if that's what this strain is meant to exhibit but I'll read up on that later.
Nodes are all still there and safe, still need to catch up to the main stem's nodes but they can mature a little later, I feel I'm going to use this plant and one of the Royal Bluematics I'm growing in conjunction with this plant for concentrates and butter equally. The last plant will be percy :)
Other than all that I'm starting to get impatient and eager, I'm also starting to lose sleep over the loudness of my thermo-extractor buzz since the plants getting bigger and summer looming.....the fucker really hums!! I'm listening to thunderstorms and mongolian throat singing most nights as lullabies.....-.-
The plants have been listening to Alix Perez's new album which is pretty banging to be fair.
Catch ya'll soon.4
Hi there!
I've gone and done some LST to my plants, you can see it pictured above.
Have I gone over the top with it and was it a bit late in starting? I'm also now thinking of lowering my 600w LED from 60 to 50/45cm for the now LSTed branches. Worth it?
Cheers
Hey Jedi!! Your LST looks fine not overboard at all๐ and no your not to late at all it can be done at any stage pretty much. and yes you can lower your light a bit if you want to just make sure to keep a close eye on it at first just to make sure it's not going to burn the plants Looking Good!!
@Red_i_jedi, when they do that stretch they really suck the nutes. The strains I've tried really could tolerate a lot of nutes during the growth phase.
@goodgrow, since this picture its stretched another 8cm or so... I'm fretting a bit as I don't have the grow space hahaha.. Whoops. I'll be updating here tomorrow so check the stretch :/
