I have removed one Plant from the Box, because she grew into my Lights (over 120cm). I believe she would make me more Problems then i could get from her. I have also cut down the lowest two side branches. In the next weeks ill cut all low side branches and flower goblets. Just tryin. I have a new problem as you can see on the pictures. The mite Problem is now better thanks for all your help! Until next Week! Greetz ๐
@CRiSPrGrow,
Thank you Homes!
How do you mean "seperate", just carefully pull it out or cut it down? Dont wanna Destroy the "big" one, cause its growing well!
It *might* be powdery mildew, but he is probably right that it's spider mites but in any case the treatment is mostly the same.
Spider mites are often found on the underside of leaves and look something like this: https://www.growweedeasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/spider-mites-on-leaf.jpg
Possible treatments are foliar sprays of Neem Oil (4tsps/gallon), Baking Soda (2tbsp/gallon), Hydrogen Peroxide (1tsps/gallon of 35% H2O2), Milk (yes milk, 1:10 ratio to water) and wetting agents like SM-90 (better for Powdery Mildew).
Spider mites thrive in hot and dry environments, so check your temp. and make sure there is good airflow (they hate wind). If your humidity is 70% as you have listed under your grow conditions that's a bit too high, esp. with this spider mite infestation you seem to have. Generally speaking during veg. RH should be 40-60% and 30-50% during flower, just keep a close eye during flower for bud rot and reduce RH accordingly. Good luck !
@Methylenedream,
Thanks for your detailed help and tips. The tip regarding the algae, I will definitely consider the next grow. I have also reduced the humidity to about 60% and will test the Neem oil!๐
The green is algae, to get rid of it easiest way in my experience is to wrap the pot up to the stem in a light proof plastic like a hefty bag, it will die without light.
Not really a problem though and it's clear from your next weeks that its not a problem anymore, just figured I would let you know what I do in the future if you see it again.
