Atlas Seeds - GMO 8 (Autoflower) grow diary by GrowerBaal

GrowerBaal I started the seed on march the 14th. Took a Vivosun pot of 11,4l filled it with about 85% soil, 15% coco and added 150g Monster Bud Mix, 80g dolomite calcareous, some Rhizobacter and Mycorrhiza. Filled a cup with 200 ml water, added a drip of Plagron Seed Booster and let the seed for 12h in it. After that i took a plum sized piece of coco and put it in the middle of the pot. This coco i watered a bit and put the seed in. Finally i put a plastic dome over.

GrowerBaal She is doing fine and grows well. She appeared on march 17th. On day 2 i lifted the dome and she had 3 cm. She doubled her size to 6 cm on day 6.

GrowerBaal She is doing fine and grows very fast. On day 11 she had 9 cm height. On day 12 she had 10 cm. ok, it gets boring, but the algorithm says i have to write more.

GrowerBaal The plant grew vigorously, maybe the fastest plant i have ever had. On day 18 it had reached a height of 18 cm and I topped it above the 4th node to prevent it from getting out of hand.

GrowerBaal Have made a big mistake and tried the bending to much, so two branches broke a bit. Hope this will not lead to bigger problems. Other than that she grew good and has now 25 cm. Update Day 28: It seems that she took my accidental breaks of the branches with ease. The leaves of this branches are a bit behind i guess, but overall she growing fine and has reached 32 cm.

GrowerBaal The gaps are looking good. Better said one more or less disappeared, the other is closing. She grew further well and reaches now 48. About day 30 she started to flower.

GrowerBaal She is easy growing until now, even so i topped her and also did hurt her accidentally. She reaches 72 cm on day 45. About a month to go is the information Atlas gives.

GrowerBaal She stopped stretching and her buds are swelling. She becomes covered in trichomes and even the fan leaves are looking frosty. Lolly popped her on day 53, had to remove some nice buds.

GrowerBaal she is now in week 9 and has nearly reached week 10. She further got her nutrition as the schedule recommends. Her Buds are growing and getting even frostier. Her smell is hard to figure, not very smelly yet. She smells bit sweet and floral but there are more flavours, i cant figure out yet. Atlas says 2 more weeks to go. Could be right, wee will see.

GrowerBaal End of last week some leaves got yellow tip. Did not thinks that much about, but it increased, so i reduced the additives. It does not stop, so i stopped the additives completly. To the end of the week it slowed down. She has about a week left Atlas wrote. So maybe 2 or 3? Will only give her water till the harvest. Oh, and after handling her my hangs smell very long like citric,sweet, sour, bit chemical (like soap?). She herself smells bit sweet and i dont know exactly, but not the way the hand smell.

GrowerBaal Week 11 ended and she is still struggling. Have given her only water for a while. She still has some way to go, dont know if 1 or 2 weeks. Hopefully not more as i got nightmares to imagine her look in 3 or 4 weeks.🙀

GrowerBaal I got afraid that mold appears and she starts to rot as she struggles further and the humidity increased. So i harvested her on day 79. She would have needed at least another week, i guess.

At the end i got some problems, so i harvested her a bit early, but i cant complain about the result. It was a very good yield of dense, sticky flowers. Unfortunately she did not purple, but that would have been only a bonus. The taste is awesome. First herbal, spicy than when exhaling or even later it gets sweet, really sweet and the sweet taste stays a while. The high is hybrid i would say, it calms you down, but does not you totaly to the couch. It gets you talkative and creative but hits quite hard. And the high last long, really long over 2 hours. For my taste its not the strain i would smoke all day, not because she is not nice. She is to hard hitting and to long lasting for my daily use, but very nice for a evenings with friends you have nothing special planned.

GrowerBaal Finally i found the time to trim all of it. It has cured already while it waited for the trim. At the end the result were nearly 2 l of dense frosty nuggets or 118,8 g + popcorn and nuggets for test smokes.
