Graves Today, the strains "Orion F1" from Royal Queen Seeds were planted in two 0.25L pots for germination. I always put the seeds directly into the soil for germination, as I've had good experiences with that. The seeds have been with me for a little while now, so there's a 50/50 chance they'll do something this time.

Graves Pheno 1 has germinated and is currently struggling to make its way to the surface. Pheno 2 was transplanted today on 23.03 into 11L Airpots; during the repotting, the substrate broke apart a bit and unfortunately damaged the root. I gave it 1ml of Root-Juice to help it recover.

Graves Today, the lady got her first real nutrients. I think she has overcome the little complication from last week; the small spots on the leaves got worse over the past week, so she's slowly recovering. Unfortunately, Pheno 1 didn't work out, so I planted a new seed today and will keep track of it in this report if anything comes of her.

Graves She's slowly starting to develop further, Pheno 3 seems to have germinated and is currently fighting its way to the surface with a root. I doubt it will amount to anything; if nothing comes from this seed, it will be the first and last grow with an Orion F1. To help it reach the surface, I've stabilized it so that a straight stem can grow.

Graves I skipped making a report for week 4 since there was no difference to week 3. So we're heading into week 5 of growth, and since my room where the tent is set up isn't quite optimal, they're still in the growth phase. Unfortunately, the weather isn't cooperating perfectly for them to grow right now, but that's not a problem.

Graves So, we skipped week 6 again. Now she has made a proper jump, she was topped on day 46. They are also each getting 500ml now. Day 53, the lady has recovered well from the topping and is growing nicely.

Graves The first week of flowering is starting now, exciting but also a bit overwhelming. Today they received their bloom nutrients for the first time. The light was also set to about 25% flowering. It was secured with wire in some places (not visible in the pictures) to get better light exposure. I removed the large fan leaves. Now we're heading into another beautiful phase with 9 weeks of flowering.

Graves So after a stressful month, they are now officially downsized in week 17. From week 13-15, she really only developed her buds a bit more; otherwise, she looked exactly the same and was then put in a cardboard box to dry in week 15, where she has been for two weeks and was downsized today. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the grow, except for the beginning with the germination of the seeds. With

Good luck. Orion F1 is a great strain. You can't go wrong with that.

@Sejanus21, thanks again, I really hope so ;)

They have way too little light, that's why they're stretching and growing slowly. For the first 2 weeks after sprouting, you don't need to fertilize at all. In this case, it has little to do with the strain, sorry. Edit: Check the Biobizz website. I believe Fish Mix and Biogrow also exclude each other.

@StonerSouls, Graves has been growing for a few years now, and so far without any problems. He uses the same setup as I do, and then you want to tell someone that the plants are struggling because they're getting too little light from the GCX4 PWR, even though the lamp is continuously dimmed higher every week? My plants always look just like his and are developing beautifully. Plus, just like Graves, I also start feeding from week 1-2, and so far every grow has gone great. The slow growth would be due to the fact that he has the tent in a cold environment, like a basement, and not because of too little light. I can tell you, for example, that my lamps only run at 40-60 watts until week 4 because that's completely sufficient.
Graves
Graves commented1y ago
@StonerSouls, I think 22.5 hours of light at around 100-110 watts isn't too little light, plus they are growing just fine like in my previous grows. The slow growth can also be explained in week 5 as to why they are the way they are. After 2 weeks, I always give them nutrients, and that has never harmed my plants. I'm also wondering why this should have anything to do with the strain in this case? Sorry. You can also mix Fish and Grow in a 50/50 ratio. Additionally, if you take another look at the schedule, you'll see that the first two weeks are exactly the same as in my report. Thanks!

Orion doesn't need 9 weeks of flowering. It was done for me around day 80 since germination.

@Sejanus21, very cool, yeah for me it's a bit more difficult because of the space. Unfortunately, it also transitioned to flowering 3 weeks later than planned and sadly not as tall as I had hoped. I'm still curious to see how it turns out.

Glad to hear you're still satisfied with RQS. I'm definitely not a fan of white label, but something good can come from that too. Enjoy your well-deserved harvest to the fullest. 😏😉
