Unfortunately I have no picture of the germination process. But I used the paper towel method. Just moistened the paper towel with RO water en placed the seed, folded into the paper towel, in a ziplock bag which I placed in my potfridge. On day 2 the taproot was 1cm long and ready to be planted in a 15L pot with +- 60% coco coir, 25% perlite and 15% wormcastings.
Week 1. The girls are poppin' out. For this diary we will focus on the one in the back on the left. The other ones are my autoflowers. Maybe I will make another joint diary about those. After the first week I will start introducing the plagron feeding. 'Cause coco has no nutriënts from itself, I add a little sooner than if I were to grow in soil. First feeding will be about 1 third of the recommended dose.
Februari 15th. Looks about ready for transplant to 40L pot. Which I did 1 day later. I sprinkled a little bit of mycorriza on the roots before placing it in the new pot and filling the gaps with a mix of coco coir, perlite and wormcastings.
In week 5 I took away some leaves every 2 days and did some more LST to become an even canope. That way every potential future budsite get's the same amount of lighting. Since the plant was recovered great from the trasnplant, I decided to give it a little pinch and do some supercropping too
Week 6 another defoliation and LST session. You can also see the 'wounds' from the supercropping I did. It's the first time I tried this. But looks good for now. At this point several of the main cola's have been topped also. For nutriënts I just follow the plagron coco feeding schedule and it seems to work just fine! The only thing I added until now is a topfeeding of ironsulfate. Because coco tends to be poor in iron. My watersource is rainwater.
Hi guys, This is my Triple Cheese from Barney's farm. Currently in week 10 of veg under the spiderfarmer sf2000 in a 40l pot in an 80x80cm growtent. I used plagron coco feeding and did some LST, topping and supercropping. I also currently have 3 autoflowers in my flowertent under the spiderfarmer se3000. Super lemon haze by greenhouse seeds, amnesia haze by fast buds and sour diesel by barney's farm. When those finish up, I will flip the triple cheese into flower. I am a beginner and can use every tip you can give me and have no problem with critisism. Shoot!
Pictures 21 of march. Flipped to flower. She had her 1st 12 hour light cycle today. Going a little heavier on the cocos A and B feeding from plagron now for couple of weeks, before adding the green sensation from the same brand. Let's see how she reacts!
5th day of flower march 25. White pistils start appearing. And she looks happy :D. I'm gonna let her be for the next week/ week and a half, and then do a heavy defoliation.
Start of week 2 flowering. Put the triple cheese in my other tent under the spider famer SE3000 instead of the Sf2000 to give her that extra boost in flower. Because she is quite a biggie, she can use al the light I can give her. Gonne let her ride for another few days to a week before doing a heavy defoliation.
30 march. Defoliation time
Pics 8 of april. Start week 3 of flowering and she is is looking goood. She filled up the tent, is showing quite a lot of budsites and is stretching on a steady pass. I am still performing LST to open up the canope, doing a light defoliation once a week and feeding her 3 or 4 times a week with plagron nutes. Seems to be doing very well for the moment. Can't wait for the next couple of weeks! 😎
Pics 12 of April. Did some more defoliation to keep some space between the buds for optimal airflow. She is making a lot of white hairs very fast and is already making trichomes too. She smells a lot like regular cheese for the moment, which I like very much! Just gonne keep feeding it according to the plagron schedule and let her ride it out. Very excited :D
@AumShanti, flipping to flower today. I really hope it pays off, cause I am a big cheese fan :D! My last one (chem bride green house seeds) also vegged for around 10 weeks, and got 145g out of it. Kinda ok I guess but always hoping for more xD
