Yeah, so the plan was to germinate three Purple Queen Seeds and fill out my tent with a trellis net.
I tried using the Spider Farmer SF300 because at a range of 40cm it has around 5000 Lux which is perfect for germination.
(I removed the humidity domes just for the pictures)
Seed Nr.1 was the only one to fully germinated and reached upwards.
Seed Nr.2 germinated but one of the starter-leaves was fully shriveled and brown. After around 5 days of 18:6 light she is still very small and probably lacks energy. But there is nothing I can do other than to wait.
Seed Nr.3 did not germinate at all and after 5 days of 23°C with moist soil and 18:6 light there wasn't even a taproot.
Overall a bit disappointing; I stored them for around 10 months and 2 out of 3 failed.
Second week for "Violet" and she is slowing gaining strength.
I decided to cut out the upper part of the humidity-dome to give her some space for stretching. Inadvertently I made the perfect crutch for her to lean against. When she becomes too large, I can just cut off the humidity dome.
