RobsterOR Well, after majorly fucking up the princesses (but hoping one still survived) next in line are 2 North Thunderfuck. I named them Ei and Makoto (iykyk ^^) D1: this time we go the direct-to-pot route. Fuck plugs, fuck everything, we are raising two little fuckers! Hopefully with a better start this time... I swear Ill be patient.... I swear XD Like planned they will spend some time in the kiddie tent with their new light, and then take it over to the grown up tent once there is room over there. Lets go! D3: zzzzz ^^ D4: We have 2 healthy babies! Needed to help Makoto a little shed to her skin (veeeeery carefully with a toothpick). Welcome, girls! Can't wait to see your journey! They will be accompanied by a timelapse video, hope this time it looks better and is without stripes XD

RobsterOR Days after seed Day 5: they are here! Off we go, girls! Day 8: Well, they are working on roots, so the images aren't too exciting currently. Interesting though are their different strategies. They both popped out of the earth around the same time, but Makoto seems to have grown herself a little bigger first leaf pair first, while Ei put a little more material into her second pair first. We will see if they keep the strategies up or catch up on each other ;)

RobsterOR Week start: Apr 19 Apr 20, Day 13 after seed and 8 after sprout They seem a little pale and seem to not be growing as fast as my previous grow. Will switch over to Advanced Nutrients from Biobizz I guess. We are growing Coco, might as well grab all the benefits, including the quick reaction time to changes in nutrients.... That will be here Wednesday or Thursday, before that will have to keep using Biobizz. Let's see. Apr 21 Still no sign of veg growth. Flushed them today with about 16l PH-balanced water today, then gave them a thorough feeding with 4l each. Wanted to try SOMETHING and part of it was also morbid curiosity cause I have never done that before. Got enough seeds if I need to start over :P PPM was 498 going in, 200 coming out but I guess that doesnt mean much (yet?) cause the coco was soaked from the flush already anyways. Was their last feeding until the av nutes come in thursday or friday. Felt scary to just basically drown them, but it is coco right? They'll be fine... right? XD They are both on wicking irrigation saucers for later. for now I am just happy they wont sit in their own gunk before I start using those.

RobsterOR Week Start: Apr 26/D19 (since wetting seeds) D20: Either the flush last week or the swap of nutes or whatever else helped. They now start growing at a rate they should have grown 1+ weeks ago, and their color looks smuch healthier. Since I was able to watch a "miracle growth period" auto at my friends house, that vegged for like 6 weeks before even showing a pistil I have hopes that they take their time vegging now and don't bloom right away. I was really feeling bad as they didnt like to take off, hence didn't write as much diary as I did before but I feel better about them now :). Have to say I changed lights, medium AND nutes for this grow so it is basically a first time learning experience once more. But I really wanna get growing in coco under my belt and do it well, in the hopes of having fewer plants that are growing nice and big XD I am glad they pulled through. There are people that would scrap them but I have seen plants take off slow and make their growers very happy in the end. Plus I netted enough from the four plants in my "very first grow" to really relax and enjoy growing and learning now, knowing I have more than enough to hold me over until harvest. D21-24: They do grow vigorously now, but Ei is really a weirdo. I nicked one leaf I really didnt understand but I have generally no idea what she is planning to do. She is a bit wonky. Interesting plant! Makoto is a good girl like always.

RobsterOR Week Start May 3rd/D26 since seed wet Today the evil woman came with the scissors ;) Removed the lowest 2 branches of Makoto since they were kind of slow compared to the others, topped and she looks perfect. Ei... well. Left the 2 lowest, but cause they were short immediately LSTd the second pair down a little. removed the rest of the tip because it was pure chaos. You still can see that she isnt sure how much fingers a leaf should have, even seeing a 2 finger one. She is a whacky one but I am curious how she will turn out! D31 Those 2 are really coming back with a force (after the slow start because I didn't do the whole Coco thing well at first). I think I can cut back a bit again on the grow part of the fertilizer, seeing they are REALLY dark green by now. Drinking about a liter a day each and they start pulling water up from their self watering saucers, which is amazing becuase it means I can really feed them well now. Ei is still really growing weird, but she is growing so I will just let her do her thing with some guidance through LST.

RobsterOR Week Start May 17 / D40 after seed wet D 42: They start PRODUCING. Even trying to dig through the fabric pots with their roots. They drink around 2l+ a day now, and in my wildest dreams I wouldnt have thought they would grow into such BUSHES as I saw them stunt at the start! Currently only defoliating here and there to have air underneath and to have light on bud sites, and adjusting training stakes where needed, but I hope they grow upwards a little more now that they are flowering (I know, my fault, but the training was so fun again ^^) They surprise me, ngl!
