Purchased as a rooted clone. On 21 Feb. Had no tent setup for the first 2 days and was under a normal lamp. FIMed on day 5.
Our first practical application of growing knowledge. We are excited to see how she turns out!
We are using SoHum soil, so no added nutrients required. Reverse osmosis water PH to 6.5. Humidity recovered at end of week.
Noticed spotting on the leaves, as well as some curling) Used an extremely dilute (0.1g/L) calmag foliar spray at lights (march 3) out one night. Saw improvement almost immediately.
Fully recovered from spots and curling.
Started LST. We are in a 40x40x80 tent with 2 seedling so we decided we want her to grow kind of sideways and more Bush-like. We timidly defoliated some larger fan leaves that were blocking grow sites. Added some worms (red wrigglers) to our pot on the 13th.
Foliar calmag mar 8 and 13 at lights out.
I was out of town for most of this week and my wife didn't take any pics sadly.
This week was a long one of meeting growers and figuring out some new information. We went in and took out all immature grow sites and blocked branches. We don't exactly defoliate extensively, we like how she is doing so far. Foliar calmag (march 18) at lights out.
End of week 2 in flower! She is going strong! Defoliated today (4 April) the first day of week 3 in flower!! Stayed below 25% of plant, probably defoliated around 20%
Defoliated undergrowth extensively. Will be growing freely the rest of flower.
Watered with molasses once.
Calmag on the 8th. Loving the look of the flowers!
We added a dowel rod to stop her from bending so much as she stretches. This opened up some of the bottom growth and positioned the top cola in a more favorable spot.
She reeks right now andit's awesome!! Just a few more weeks and we get to see what she has produced!. Purchased a dehumidifier that will be installed today to keep the at 45.
Calmag on the 13th
Smell is so strong, it awesome. Trichs are still mostly clear with some cloudy starting to appear. Have defoliated some fan leaves as the tips yellow.
Touching any part of the plant leaves a sticky residue! She is definitely a happy lady!
Calmag on 19 and 23rd at lights out only on bottoms of large fan leaves.
The buds have been noticabley fattening. She smells AMAZING. More leaves starting to show a little yellowing; only a 2ish more weeks!!
We have been watering with mollasses (1 tsp/gal) all last week and removing the most yellow leaves daily, but no more than few leaves per day.
Trichs have a little cloudiness so far
She is looking awesome overall! Still removing fan leaves as they yellow, no more than 2-4 per day.
Added a Mars hydro 1000 quantum board mid week which raised the temp a little, but also added another desk fan so that mitigated the heat enough for it to stay below 85.
Trichomes looking cloudy with few amber right now! Looks like harvest should be on schedule for next week!!.
Will update throughout process. Daily pics of trichs up to chop as well as dry/cure updates until the day it is sampled!
UPDATE 8 June
Her taste and smell turns heads everywhere.
We packed her up and brought he to a festival and shared with everyone who wanted to partake.
Loved by everyone including us. Will definitely be buying more seeds and growing more!
Works wonders for social anxiety, and depression. May give the munchies if used in abundance!
This plant produced 52 grams of the total weight displayed. Was 293g wet
This will update over the next month! Today is May 16, we will chop anytime in the next 4 days depending on trichs.
Daily pictures will be added
May 17th trichs have about 10% amber overall.
May 18th looking strong and smelling good, ran the last bit of water through harvest within 3 days now!!
She was chopped just minutes ago, wet trim and quick manicure before hanging in closet with a small desk fan and dehumidifier, aiming for ~50%rh starting around 59 with all branches hung.
Will update with dry weight in 7-10 days when jarring for cure.
Grown with 2 other plants in a 4x4 tent, watts per plant =100W
Prior to jarring large stems are being removed and buds are manicured (sugar leaves removed by hand trimming)
52g total harvest from plant 1 of 3.
Within 2 weeks the other 2 are coming down and this will be updated with their numbers as well to complete the g/watt/plant data.
Week 5 of bloom with the legendary Cheese and she's really packing on that weight now and trichome production looks amazing 👌
I hope you have a good carbon filter as Cheese is one of our most potent smelling strains which I think your finding out 👍
