Growtendo64 Melony was started on April 16th, directly in her final 20L BioBizz Light Mix. The seed was soaked in water for 4 hours before being placed about 1 cm deep into pre-moistened soil (250 ml of water around the planting hole). From day one, conditions under the dome were carefully dialed in: around 23.5 °C and 70% humidity, with the SF-1000 LED set to a gentle 300 PPFD.
And then – on April 20th, of all days – she rose. It was 4/20, and Melony decided that was the perfect moment to break through the surface. But what happened next was completely unexpected.
Instead of the usual pair of cotyledons, Melony emerged with three. Not just that – her first serrated leaves also appeared in threes. A true mutation. No signs of stress, no visible defects – just this surreal, almost symmetrical anomaly. It felt like watching a rare event unfold.
On April 21st, she received her first light feeding: 105 ml of water with 10 drops each of BioBizz Root·Juice and Bio·Heaven, gently applied around her. Dome conditions stayed perfect with 26 °C and 70% RH, while the tent held steady at 24.8 °C and 41% RH.
We’ll see how she develops from here, but right now she stands proud – a three-leafed miracle, ready to grow.
