Borberad Dear chroniclers of green growth at Borberad! This time we dare to tackle a true heavyweight of the automatic cannabis strains: Cannabis sativa L. var. Sticky Beast Automatic, also from the esteemed geneticists at Zamnesia. Get ready for another in-depth and sticky exploration of plant growth. Our tried-and-true methodology of almost daily photo documentation and sporadic video analyses will also be employed for this specimen. We will witness the development of a plant whose name already promises its potential resinousness and thus its – let’s say – 'appeal.' Join us as we follow how this 'sticky beast' unfolds and what challenges await us at Borberad in taming it. Detailed strain description: Zamnesia Sticky Beast Automatic * Genetics: Sticky Beast Automatic is the result of a potent three-way cross that combines the genes of OG Kush, Bubble Gum, and a selected Ruderalis strain. This genetic blend gives it remarkable potency, a complex terpene profile, and the ability to autoflower. The genetics tend toward a balanced Indica/Sativa hybridization, which is reflected in its growth and effects. * Size: We expect the 'sticky beast' to be just over 80 centimeters. This makes it an excellent choice for indoor cultivation, but we will let the beast run free outdoors. * Color: The color palette of Sticky Beast Automatic is typically dominated by rich green tones, which are covered in glistening trichomes during the flowering phase. Occasionally, subtle golden or bronze accents may appear, signaling the ripeness of the buds. * Flavor: The name already suggests it: this strain is intense! The flavor profile is a powerful mix of earthy Kush notes, sweet and slightly fruity hints of Bubble Gum, and a touch of spicy undertones. Borberad Week 6: The Transition to Flowering After five weeks of Veg, the plant has initiated the flowering phase. The daily nutrient plan is increased to 2.5 liters of nutrient water, and the indirect watering with osmosis water is running. The flowering phase is supported by an adjusted nutrient solution: 5 ml/l Hesi Bloom, 2 ml/l Calmag, and 2 ml/l Hesi Boost. * Plant condition: Strong, bushy growth, flowering begins. * Important events: Transition to the flowering phase. * Nutrients & measurements: * Watering: pH around 6.3. Conductivity 1.4 to 2 mS. * Drain: We ensure that the pH does not drop below 5.5 and does not exceed 6.8.

The DLI has been gradually increased to 40-45. The feeding schedule remains unchanged. * Plant condition: Strong flowering stretch, beautiful flower clusters visible. * Important events: LST, DLI increase, lollipopping on day 49 * Feeding & measurements: * Watering: pH about 6.3. EC 1.4 to 2 mS. * Drain: We ensure that the pH does not drop below 5.5 and does not exceed 6.8, and that the EC maintains the +/- 500 mS deviation. * Adjustments: none

Borberad Flowering week 2 to one week before harvest: Full bloom The flowering is in full swing! The plant is stretching vigorously and has developed decent flower clusters. Initially, the first lightening in the leaves near and in the flowers completely bleached out, probably too much PK13/14 due to... 🤔 too dense 🤷‍♂️😅 Unfortunately, some of the measurements were missed, otherwise the problem wouldn't have arisen. The fertilization plan will be reduced to a minimum for the time being, and the drain will be monitored further. * Plant condition: Strong "burn" visible on individual flowers/leaves * Important events: Flushing * Fertilization & measurement values: * Watering: should be pH 6.5. Conductivity should be 0.8 * Drain: Measurement not conducted for too long!!! It would be boring if everything just went smoothly. 😅🤷‍♂️ pH 5.8 is too low for this phase, and conductivity 5.9mS 💀 way too high * Adjustments: Flush, flush, flush. Subsequent drain value 1100mS pH 6.1

Das Blümchen hat uns beim grow viel Spaß bereitet und war im großen und ganzen recht pflegeleicht. Auf die Überdüngung hat sie sehr deutlich reagiert und immerhin noch früh genug, so das eingeletete Gegenmaßnahmen (spülen mit etlichen Litern Osmeswasser) noch Wirkung zeigten. Der Duft zu Ende der Blüte war angenehm Süß und erinnerte ein wenig an Kaugummi und Pinie.
