Jacks_Pot Welcome to my second grow report of 2025.
I'm going for 4 plants in a scrog setup again. This time, the breeder is Dutchfem.
A few weeks ago, I received a promo pack from them containing 3 x 5-packs of their feminized strains.
Two of those strains will populate the tent over the coming weeks.
The first strain is MadMax#33, and the second is Lemon Skunk.
The third strain, Bokito Banana Kush, will be for another time.
I sowed 3 seeds of each strain into 0.4-liter pots.
They were pre-watered with pH-adjusted tap water + Rhizotonic (1 ml/600 ml). EC was 0.56 – pH 6.0 – 22°C.
The heating mat underneath was set to 28°C, and after 3 days I lowered it to 26°C. That’s also when I switched on the COBs.
They are hanging at 47 cm with a wattage of 60 watts, giving a DLI of 18.1 / PPFD 279.
By the fourth day, all 3 Lemon Skunks and 2 out of 3 MadMax#33 had sprouted.
The last MadMax seed did not make it. After 5 days, the seed still hadn't opened.
Fortunately, the rest are doing well! 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱
Jacks_Pot The fist week went great. 😊 The 5 babies are right on shedule.
The exhaust fan is still off, and the humidifier has been running since day 1 of the growth phase.
It’s filled with pH 6-adjusted tap water and is set on a timer to run every half hour for half an hour,
but only during the lights-on period.
There’s also a tower fan on setting 1 gently blowing a breeze across the seedlings.
This week, they received pH-adjusted tap water with CannaStart (1 ml/500 ml) and Rhizotonic (1.5 ml/500 ml)
whenever needed, and only in small amounts. EC was 1.0 – pH 6.0 – 21°C.
Starting from week 2, I’ll be switching over to Plagron products.
I bought two new Plagron products that I didn’t use in previous runs: Silic Rock and Vita Race.
Silic Rock is a silicon fertilizer that improves the uptake of phosphorus, calcium, and micronutrients,
strengthens cell walls, and increases resistance.
Vita Race is an iron spray for the growth phase and the first three weeks of flowering.
It stimulates chlorophyll production, accelerates growth and flowering, and also boosts resistance.
Plagron recommends using Vita Race up to three weeks into flowering,
but I’ll likely only use it until the end of the first week. After that, I don't like spraying the plants heavily anymore.
Temperatures during this first week stayed between 20.3 – 25.6°C, and humidity ranged between 42 – 84%.
See you next week for the update! ✌️

Jacks_Pot The five plants have progressed nicely this week. The five-fingered leaves have already developed,
so the seedling phase is officially over. The first seven-fingered leaves are even starting to appear.
ach plant is already showing its first shoots, so everything is going great.
Tomorrow, four of them will be transplanted into 14-liter air pots. One Lemon Skunk will be removed.
This is what they received this week:
Day 1 → Each plant got 40 ml of leftover water from last week,
which still contained CannaStart and Rhizotonic.
Day 2 → To 300 ml of tap water, I added 0.3 ml Power Roots, 0.3 ml Pure Zym, 0.3 ml Sugar Royal
and 0.4 ml Terra Grow (EC 1.26 – pH 6.1 – 23°C). Each plant received 60 ml of this mix.
Day 3 → Dry.
Day 4 → Same as Day 2, but each plant got 40 ml.
Day 5 → The remainder from Day 4, 20 ml per plant.
Day 6 → To 500 ml, I added 2 ml Fish Force, 0.2 ml Silic Rock, and 0.1 ml CalMag
(EC 1.35 – pH 6.1 – 22°C). Each plant received 50 ml.
Day 7 → The remainder from Day 6, 50 ml per plant.
On Day 4, I gave them their first foliar spray with Vita Race.
To 100 ml of tap water, I added 0.3 ml Vita Race. This solution was sprayed right after the lights turned off.
This week, I kept the humidifier running 24/7 for several days because it got very dry, even during the dark hours.
The heat mat was set to 24°C.
The COB wattage was increased to 72 watts at a distance of 44 cm, resulting in a DLI of 22 / PPFD of 340.
Temperatures ranged between 22.3 – 26.7°C and humidity between 36 – 79%.
Till next week! ✌️

Jacks_Pot The week started with transplanting into the 14-liter air pots.
The potting soil is organic from the brand Osmo (a Belgian brand) and was watered in with Rhizotonic
(6ml/4L – EC 0.64 – pH 6.2 – 22.4°C) and nematodes. The pots are placed on the large heating mat, which is set to 24°C.
The transplanting went smoothly and all the plants had a nice root system.
They experienced no growth delay and continued growing immediately.
I also already removed the bottom four shoots, the single-fingered leaves, and the cotyledons.
Tonight, they will be topped. After that, each plant will be left with six main shoots to scrog.
Here’s what they received this week:
Day 1 → Transplant day
Day 2 → Dry
Day 3 → Dry
Day 4 → To 2000 ml of tap water, I added 1.5 ml Power Roots, 1.5 ml Pure Zym, 1.5 ml Sugar Royal,
and 3.5 ml Terra Grow (EC 1.35 – pH 6.2 – 21.4°C). Each plant received 500 ml of this mix.
Day 5 → Dry
Day 6 → To 2000 ml of tap water, I added 3.5 ml Terra Grow (EC 1.11 – pH 6.2 – 22.2°C).
Each plant received 500 ml.
Day 7 → Dry
On day 4, they also got their weekly foliar spray with Vita Race, right after the lights went out.
On the first day, the second COB lamp was installed in the tent.
The two COBs are running at 140 watts and are positioned 45 cm above the canopy.
This resulted in a DLI of 25.5 / PPFD of 393.
The exhaust fan is now running at 30%, and the humidifier still turns on every half hour.
A tower fan blows a gentle breeze 24/7 on setting 1.
Temperatures stayed between 21.4 – 26.9 °C and humidity ranged from 40 – 82%.
Till next week! ✌️

Jacks_Pot This week went smoothly again.
On the first day, the plants were topped, and now each one has six branches.
Every plant is roughly the same size, with beautiful, large, green fan leaves. Only the rightmost MadMax#33 remains slightly smaller.
The shoots are popping up everywhere and seem to be thriving. I’ve noticed that the Lemon Skunk shows
more indica traits due to its rounder leaves, while the MadMax#33 leans more towards sativa.
On day 6, I removed the lowest shoots on each branch. From experience, I know those don’t yield much.
The fungus gnats have remained quiet, but that could still change. Perhaps freezing the seedling soil had some effect
and maybe the nematodes are doing their job too.
I’ve also installed the scrOG screen.
I think one more week under 18/6, and then it’ll likely be time to switch to 12/12.
Here’s what they received this week:
Day 1 → To 2400 ml of tap water, I added 12 ml Fish Force, 0.7 ml Silic Rock, and 0.7 ml CalMag Pro
(EC 1.32 – pH 6.1 – 22.4°C) I gave each plant 600 ml of this solution.
I’ve already noticed that Fish Force significantly lowers the pH.
I even have to add pH+ because without it, the pH drops to 5.5 when using Fish Force.
Day 2 → Dry
Day 3 → To 2800 ml of tap water, I added 2.5 ml Power Roots, 2.5 ml Pure Zym, 2.5 ml Sugar Royal
and 7 ml Terra Grow (EC 1.48 – pH 6.0 – 21.3°C) Each plant received 700 ml.
Day 4 → Dry
Day 5 → To 2800 ml of tap water, I added 7 ml Terra Grow, 1 ml Silic Rock, and 1 ml CalMag Pro
(EC 1.55 – pH 6.3 – 22.1°C) Each plant received 700 ml.
Day 6 → Dry
Day 7 → Same as day 3, but with 8 ml Terra Grow (EC 1.55 – pH 6.3 – 21.5°C) Each plant received 700 ml.
On day 4, I gave them their weekly foliar spray with Vita Race (0.5 ml/150 ml), just after the lights went off.
At that point, the exhaust and the tower fan were turned off for about an hour. Otherwise, the plants dry too quickly.
I won’t be using CannaCure this round. It seems more useful when pests like thrips are actually present.
The COB wattage was increased to 160 watts at a distance of 45 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 32 / PPFD of 494.
Temperatures remained between 21.1 – 25.6 °C and humidity between 42 – 75%.
Till next week! ✌️

Jacks_Pot The scrogging has begun, and I suspect the net will get filled.
Accidentally, I snapped one branch of a MadMax#33 during the scrogging process.
Oh well, the rest of the plant will probably redistribute the energy just fine.
I think five weeks on an 18/6 light schedule will be sufficient for the vegetative phase, so starting tomorrow, we’ll switch to 12/12.
The breeder, DutchFem, states a flowering period of 7–8 weeks.
Seems a bit fast to me, but we’ll see — I expect it will take at least 9 weeks.
I did spot another fungus gnat here and there. Not many, but they’re back.
I won’t be applying nematodes anymore and hope that the sticky traps will be enough.
They’ve been present in previous runs and caused little to no noticeable damage to the plants.
I also removed the lower 3- and 5-fingered leaves.
That makes watering a bit easier, and they were barely receiving any light anyway.
Here’s what they received this week:
Day 1 → Dry
Day 2 → To 2800 ml of tap water, I added 15 ml Fish Force, 1 ml Silic Rock, and 1 ml CalMag
(EC 1.38 – pH 6.2 – 20.8°C) Each plant received 700 ml.
Day 3 → To 2800 ml of tap water, I added 2.5 ml Power Roots, 2.5 ml Pure Zym, 2.5 ml Sugar Royal,
and 8 ml Terra Grow (EC 1.57 – pH 6.3 – 20.2°C) Each plant received 700 ml.
Day 4 → To 2800 ml of tap water, I added 8 ml Terra Grow (EC 1.41 – pH 6.3 – 20.5°C)
Each plant received 700 ml.
Day 5 → To 2800 ml of tap water, I added 7 ml Terra Grow, 1 ml Silic Rock, and 1 ml CalMag Pro
(EC 1.63 – pH 6.2 – 21.3°C) Each plant received 700 ml.
Day 6 → Same as day 3 (EC 1.56 – pH 6.3 – 20.5°C)
Each plant received 700 ml.
Day 7 → Same as day 4 (EC 1.40 – pH 6.3 – 19.8°C)
Each plant received 700 ml.
They also got their weekly foliar spray with Vita Race (0.9 ml/200 ml) on day 4.
The exhaust fan is set to 45%, the humidifier still runs every half hour,
and a second tower fan has now been added to the tent.
The COB wattage was increased to 180 watts at a distance of 45 cm.
This resulted in a DLI of 38.9 / PPFD of 600.
Temperatures fluctuated between 20.3 – 24.4 °C and humidity stayed between 40 – 78%.
Till next week! ✌️
