Hey there! The reason you do not see much scrog setups outdoors is like Athos said the sun it just as strong at all places. but If you want to do it no harm it would alow that light to the areas a little easier without doing that much other tricks. Most people just top and train. But I say if you wanna do it go for it!! It would be cool to see I have not seen one yet. As for the polytunnel I don't have a store bought one but i made one out of my old swing set from when I was a kid. They work great but the only thing is the plastic almost needs to be replace every year. Sometimes you can get to but I just buy a big role of the thickest poly I can find and use that the role are huge so it does't cost that much when you do need to replace the poly. They are worth it in my opinion. just don't spend to much on a poly one if it is very pricey look into making one with PVC or combination of PVC/wood Happy Growing!!🙏

Hey there @Mrs_Larimar,, I love your grow. Seriously healthy looking nugs there. Myself and friends were researching Shaman as it seems to be regarded as a great strain for outdoors in warmer climates, which is the conditions where I live. We also wanted to try growing a purple looking strain, and all the pictures online show the Shaman as a vibrant purple colour. Also the genetics are early skunk and purple bud. I notice yours don’t look very purple, rather a lush green. Is this what I may expect if I try the Shaman from Dutch passion? Cheers,,

Mrs_Larimarcommented5 years ago
@Wachsemilian, well i would say a growers dream came true. to harvest your own weed... hahaha. the last 2 weeks i was alittle paranoid of getting visitors who harvest for me... or that mold appeares. BUUUUUT all went fine, and its a lot she gave me. My boy had to do some nightshifts in the Garden to protect^^... so he earned it to eat the first leaves

Very nice for outdoor grow considering the region your growing, those dutch passion genetics are really awesome 😋
Mrs_Larimar
Mrs_Larimarcommented5 years ago
@StoneyMelonyelony, The Shaman fits perfect to me, because she started very early with flowering. But yes iam going to check out Hollands hope too.and thy.. all outdoor growers need alittle luck in later flowering and dry weather. She surely will get purpel from the cold. i i catched a red pheno... we will see... i would be very happy if that happens too.
StoneyMelony
StoneyMelonycommented5 years ago
@Mrs_Larimar, Hollands hope is also very good for outside in northern europe, Also if you like to grow trees DP has also "Forest Dream" normaly they can grow 2 meters tall but there are pheno types that grow 3-4 meter tall. It is a sativa-dominant variety but with a 8/9 week flower period. The Shaman looks very nice i think, maybe she shows some nice purples at the end as well, night times are also colder so I love to follow this. fingers crossed for some nice weather 😉 😎

Mrs_Larimarcommented5 years ago
@StoneyMelony, I totally agree. I think i have found my "outdoor-Breeder". its really hard to find genetics that fit to northern europe. So i most time go with automatics. But i loooove to let Trees grow, so iam superhappy to grow the Dutch Passion Genetics

Wow your plants look really great, they are fully in the transpiration flow. The shaman also clearly sees that it uses your soil mixture better and faster than eg. the Painkiller genetics. Continued maximum success with the use of our 100% organic plant additives and fertilizers evenso in this Diarie.
