Grow 4.0 | Humboldt | Hi-Biscus

HandsomeTerpz WEEK 01 ---------------- 🇬🇧 Hi-Biscus by Humboldt is thriving! This week, my Hi-Biscus (Humboldt Genetics) started receiving nutrients and is reacting very positively to the feedings. The roots are already reaching the bottom of the pot, so I expect to transplant by next Friday to avoid any issues with root binding. ⚠️ For the early veg stage, I always use Canna Coco A + B, Rhizobacter, Calmag Agent, and Cannazyme. Once the plants move into their final pots, I switch exclusively to BioTabs. The idea is to give young plants a strong and immediate nutrient supply, without needing the substrate to metabolize it first. In my experience, this promotes healthy and rapid growth. 🚀

HandsomeTerpz 🇬🇧 English Humboldt Hi-Biscus Strain Compared to other genetics from different breeders, this one is growing a bit more slowly. It has thinner stems and significantly darker leaves. It also shows slight deficiencies, which surprises me. I’ll check into it and keep you all updated. 🌿🔍 🇩🇪 Deutsch Humboldt Hi-Biscus Strain Im Vergleich zu anderen Genetiken von verschiedenen Züchtern zeigt sich bei dieser Sorte ein etwas verzögertes Wachstum. Die Stiele sind dünner und die Blätter deutlich dunkler. Sie weist zudem leichte Mängel auf, was mich etwas wundert. Ich werde das genauer prüfen und euch auf dem Laufenden halten. 🌱🧐

HandsomeTerpz WEEK 4 ------------------ 🇬🇧 Hi Biscus: Growing Better, but Showing Signs Despite poor root development, the Hi Biscus is growing better than the California Haze. Still, it’s starting to show similar symptoms of magnesium deficiency. I'm using Boom Boom Spray from Bio Tabs as a preventive, and a foliar feeding with 2% Epsom salt on the undersides of the leaves. It helps a little more with this strain, but still not perfectly. All other strains respond well to my usual Canna plan — just not these two. Let’s see if giving the roots more space and fresh soil will help the plant recover. 🤞

HandsomeTerpz WEEK 5 ---------------------- 🇬🇧 English Humboldt Hi-Biscus 🌺 These plants gave me a hard time during germination and the seedling phase—unlike other strains. I suspect the seedling medium didn’t contain enough nutrients and the starter pots were simply too small. Since the transplant, though, they’ve been recovering beautifully, and I’ve already started LST training. 🌱

HandsomeTerpz 🇬🇧 Hi-Biscus (Humboldt) – Weekly Update 🌺 Repotting really made a difference with Hi-Biscus! 💥 The ladies have become beautifully bushy and strong this week – excellent growth! After taking the photos, I started defoliating and continued with my LST training 🌱✂️📸. Switching to BioTabs was another great move!

HandsomeTerpz Week 7 ----------------------- 🇬🇧 This week was super busy I barely had any time to take care of the plants 😅. Still, they’re doing really well and have grown a bit wild 🌿. Compared to the California Haze, the Hi-Biscus is performing just a tiny bit better growing a bit faster with an impressively healthy and vigorous look 📈✨. After the weekly photo documentation, I defoliated the plants to improve airflow and light penetration ✂️🌱. Since switching to BioTabs as the only fertilizer, the Hi-Biscus plants have remained strong, healthy, and full of energy 💪💚. I'm still very happy with the choice to use this fertilizer once again, BioTabs really deliver! 👍🌸 Woche 7 --------------------- 🇩🇪 Diese Woche war leider richtig stressig – ich hatte kaum Zeit, mich um die Pflanzen zu kümmern 😅. Trotzdem sehen sie ziemlich gut aus, auch wenn sie etwas wild gewachsen sind 🌿. Die Hi-Biscus-Pflanzen legen sogar noch eine kleine Schippe drauf im Vergleich zur California Haze – sie wachsen minimal besser und zeigen ein richtig schönes, vitales Wachstum 📈✨. Nach der Fotodokumentation wurde entlaubt, um Licht und Luft besser an die unteren Bereiche zu bringen ✂️🌱. Seitdem die Hi-Biscus ausschließlich mit BioTabs versorgt werden, wirken sie durchgehend gesund, kräftig und voller Energie 💪💚. Ich bin nach wie vor super zufrieden mit der Entscheidung für diesen Dünger – auch hier zeigt sich, dass BioTabs wirklich abliefern! 👍🌸

HandsomeTerpz Week 6 -------------------- 🇺🇸 Humboldt Hi-Biscus heavy LST and defoliation week! 🌿💪 This week I defoliated twice and went all-in on LST to shape the girls in the short time I have. Tried to focus on getting 6 main shoots per plant. 💥 They absolutely love the BioTabs nutrients, and the smell is insane had to activate the carbon filter this week because the aroma got way too loud! 😅🌸🌬️

HandsomeTerpz 🇺🇸 WEEK 8 ----------------- Hi-Biscus (Humboldt): Currently growing very well, very dense despite having been defoliated twice already. Good stretch. I think I’ll move the plants into the large tent as soon as my other tent is ready, so they have more space for flowering. I’ll now try to get the shoots under control, as they’ve gotten a bit out of hand. 🌿💪🌞 🇩🇪 WOCHE 8 ----------------- Hi-Biscus (Humboldt): Aktuell sehr gut im Wachstum, sehr dicht trotz bereits zweimaliger Entlaubung. Guter Stretch. Ich denke, dass ich die Pflanzen ins große Zelt umsiedeln werde, sobald mein anderes Zelt fertig ist, damit sie für die Blüte mehr Platz haben. Jetzt versuche ich noch, die Triebe in den Griff zu bekommen, da sie etwas eskaliert sind. 🌱
