bauergrows Starting indoor. Germination was not optimal. I was out for almost a week and person in charge forgot to water the germination pots.
Only 4 of them made it. Looking to have at least 2 fems.

bauergrows This week the plants have experienced a big stress. Topping right before a heat weave wasn't a perfect idea, especially when gotten a sudden thrips and miner's attack. Plants are showing off now their strength and resilience.
bauergrows so far, so good! not issues despite the bug's bites. They are all healthy and growing despite HST.

bauergrows They have been growing at different paces. Can't wait to see who the keepers are (females only).
I've been adding microorganisms both to water and as foliar spray. It's incredible how good can water from rain do to plants: they are growing fast, healthy, they got rid naturally of thrips and bugs.

bauergrows Trying to keep them low. Since we'll probably have 1 more month of vegetative grow before flowering stretch, i've decided to top the colas once more time to keep them lower cause they were growing as crazy.

bauergrows We lost one to the male world. Another one might go as well after pheno selection, since there are too many in my space.
Training with LST after the last mainlining topping, to separate those colas nicely.

bauergrows One of them had to go since it turned out being another male.
I'm observing some yellowing in lower leaves, looks like N deficiency so I've watered with some Biobizz Fish.
bauergrows One of these two is stretching as crazy. I started to worry that it was going to be to tall an be seen from outside the balcony. Situation is legal here but I still like to keep a low profile with the neighbors (as much as possible).

bauergrows Doing their job! no noticeable aroma yet, but that is strain characteristic as well.
bauergrows Bud evolution.
This strain is the one that is my personal 'winner' so far. It's rarely 'complaining' about deficiencies, it takes all I give to it really well, and is forming the most dense and good looking buds. On top of that, this and Rishi Kush (both from Mandala seeds) have no signs of mildew whatsoever, which is something i've been starting to see in the lower parts of my Lemon Orange since a couple of weeks ago.

bauergrows Buds are fattening and getting frostier, as expected. I estimate at least 1 more week to harvest.
I had to chop early due to bud rot. The plant grew very vigorously and developed beautiful buds. I ended up with two very similar phenotypes, both showing a sativa-like structure with long colas and nice internodal spacing. They grew almost identically and never showed any nutrient deficiencies.
One of the phenos has a very noticeable aroma, while the other is almost odorless. Hopefully something will come out during curing. Unfortunately, both plants developed some bud rot, affecting around 30% of the top colas. I’d say that was mostly my fault, as I didn’t take enough preventive measures to keep them dry during the last few weeks of drizzle and cold weather.
Since this was my first outdoor grow in the northern hemisphere and I had never dealt with bud rot before, I underestimated the risk. Luckily, I caught it early, so I’m hoping to avoid any further issues during drying and curing.

in 16 weeks I could grow a full cycle indoors then start another, you got all that time invested and are where i was in 3-4 weeks is my point. Plenty of ways to skin a cat but this method seems tedious and not very fruitful for all the time.
It's true! But I also enjoy growing them this way. I'm not in a rush; this is a marathon to me, and I wanted to see the results of manifolding and test it by myself.
