Schnabeldino π± New Grow β First Time with Dutch Passion! π±
Hey grow community,
This time itβs gonna be red, sweet, sour, and strong β Iβm kicking off my new grow with Red Tropicana Cookies (Sour Tropicana Cookies R1) by Dutch Passion! ππͺπ
Itβs my first run with this renowned breeder, and Iβm super excited to see what this limited-edition strain has to offer.
What makes this strain special?
Even during veg, Red Tropicana Cookies shows off with slender leaves and a distinct red vein down the middle β thatβs where the βRedβ comes from. In bloom, the pure white buds contrast beautifully with the increasingly dark foliage β a real visual stunner! πΏπΊ
This cultivar is a cross of two powerful Sour Tropicana Cookies phenos and carries the genetics of Sour Diesel, Tropicana, and Cookie β a real powerhouse straight from the US!
π What can we expect?
β±οΈ Flowering time: 63β70 days
π± Stretch: Good indoor potential
π Aroma: Fruity, creamy, cookie dough with a funky diesel edge
π₯ THC: 19β23%, with some phenos going over 26%
π§ββοΈ Effect: Relaxing, calming, slightly euphoric and uplifting β but never overwhelming or trippy
The scent is far from your typical cannabis profile β sweet and sour, creamy-fruity, with a sharp kick of gas and kerosene. The flavor really hits a next-level experience β a dream for those who crave something truly unique!
Iβm really looking forward to this grow and will be sharing weekly updates and pics with you all. π·πΏ
As always, constructive feedback is more than welcome β because those who stay open to learning are the ones who truly grow.
Letβs grow something colorful, powerful, and truly unique β Red Tropicana Cookies, here we go! π₯πͺπ

Schnabeldino _____π Week 9 | π πΌπΈπΊflowerπΌπΈπΊ ______
πΈOur lady is now entering her third week of flowering β and she's doing so with elegance! The buds are slowly developing volume, the white pistils stand proudly and are beginning to appear denser. The trichomes are becoming increasingly visible and already give her that fine, sugar-like shine. The leaves remain narrow and elegant, typical of sativa-dominant genetics. The reddish stems add beautiful accents β everything points to a healthy plant in full bloom. A real dance begins! π.
πΈThe dehumidifier now maintains a constant relative humidity of 50-60%, which I am very satisfied with. It does make it 2-3 degrees warmer in the tent, but I can live with that.
πΈNow gets big bud from AN, becomes thirstier

Schnabeldino π Week 10 | πΌπΈπΊ Flower β Woche 4 πΌπΈπΊ
πΈOur Lady π continues to dance through the flowering phase β and how! The buds have grown significantly in volume and now appear more compact and firm. The white pistils are slowly turning orange, a clear sign that ripening is progressing. The trichomes are now ubiquitous β a glittering carpet of resin covers the flowers and gives them that coveted βfrosty look.β The sugar leaves are also covered with crystals and have an intense aroma β a foretaste of what is to come. π¬β¨

πΈWhat a show! Our Lady π is now really in her prime and showing off in full bloom. The buds have swollen up beautifully, looking round and firm β almost as if theyβre about to burst with resin. Schnabeldino π Week 12 | Day 57β63 | πΌ Flowering β Week 6
πΈ Final stretch! Buds look tighter and round, calyxes nicely swollen, sugar leaves glazed in frost. Many pistils are turning orange; trichomes appear mostly milky with a few darker heads. β¨
πΈ Significant yellowing of older fan leaves (especially at the bottom/outside), some intercostal chlorosis & brownish leaf edges. I think it's a pH-related nutrient lockout. She's only getting water with a pH of 6.3. She dried out twice during the hot days, so I put the sensor in, but unfortunately it was too late. π
πΈ Aroma is still huge: sweet, fruity, tropicalβlike a ripe fruit salad. ππ
πΈ Water only. Thirst has dropped a lotβabout 2β3 L for the whole week. Sheβs just sipping while she finishes up.

Schnabeldino π Week 13 | ποΈ Day 91 - Red Tropicana Cookies - it's getting crispy
πΈthe last week felt like the final stretch. Sheβs clearly in late flowerβbig fan and sugar leaves have faded, gone papery, and curled in, and the lower growth basically self-defoliated. At the same time the buds are stacked and tight, flashing those purple tones and a thick, frosty coat. Every time I walk in I get hit with a loud tropical blastβthink pineapple/mango vibes.
πΈUnder the loupe the trichomes are mostly cloudy with some amber popping up, which tells me sheβs close. Iβve only been giving plain water, just small sips to keep her cruising and finish clean.
πΈOverall Iβm proud and hyped. She looks worn down the way a plant should at the end, but the bud structure and resin are on point. The room smells like summer, and trimming canβt come soon enough. Next time, definitely add fewer nutrients.
The Lady was harvested after exactly 9.5 weeks, after a few days of plain waterβjust small sipsβand with the trichomes mostly cloudy and a sprinkle of amber, I took down the Red Tropicana Cookies. The room was loud with that tropical blast Iβve been noting all weekβstraight pineapple/mango vibes, even more concentrated while trimming.
I broke the plant down branch by branch, did a fresh trim, and sorted the buds. Structure is tight and uniform with those subtle purple tones and a heavy, frosty coat. On the scale the wet trimmed buds came in at ~291 g. Iβll log the final dry weight after the cure. I put everything that was annoying to trim or didn't smell good in plastic bags in the freezer.
Overall impression: clean finish. The late βwater-onlyβ approach paid offβbuds look and feel crisp, resin is on point, and the aroma is pure island fruit.
Iβm stoked with the look and that juicy tropical punch. Canβt wait to crack a jar after the cure and see how it really sings.
@MonyetDiablero, Thank you very much - I'm working on my controller - I've already ordered a few parts. I'm excited to see where the journey takes me, I think the next grow will be with co2 :D Thank you for your time and your help ππππππ
@Schnabeldino, yeah this setup look dope! I really like it too! Tell me why you wanna add co2? I hear some opinion from very experience grower, that co2 is the best for big growing arena and in normal tent it is not needed - it simply does not help. Hope this opinion will help you to do right choice ππ
@HippyHemulen, I'm glad to hear that ππ - then I'm curious to see when yours will set off on their journey hehe - thank you very much π¨βπΎπ€²π±
@Brujha77, Ich glaube das ist immer noch zu wenig :D vielleicht wieder 2-3 Autos im Vegzelt π Zum GlΓΌck haben wir kein Garten....das wΓ€re wahrscheinlich eskaliert πππ
