All is good. This is my first grow diary and I think when I put week 3.It should have been week 5. My mistake. The plants are healthy and happy as far as I can tell and I’m happy too!
Well started scrog. Transplanted 2 Barney’s farm Critical kush into 5 gal fabric pots. I’ve been using 400 watt setting with a mh bulb. Ran into a little problem with leaf septoria. First grow learning happening here!! Lol
This week went good. Started 12/12 light cycle on April 17th. Defoliated some lower leaves and tiny branches that were not getting light. Exhaust fan on 24/7 to keep humidity in check. My next investment will be a ink bird humidity and temp controller. I’m always worrying about what’s happening in my tent when I’m not around. Switched my mh bulb to hps. Running on 600 watt setting. First grow is interesting, already learned what I can do better for next grow. I started with too many plants in the tent and they grew tall and didn’t have the room to bush out. Also I only topped once and should have done sooner and should have topped again.
It's a nutrient line up used by many growers without issues so it's good enough. Maybe you can add some extra secondaries with bud candy , carbo load or the others nutrients from Advenced nuts. After the 12/12 watch how your plants are evolving to see if they need something more or less
This week everything’s went smooth. The plants are stretching like crazy everyday since I switched my lighting from 24 hours to 12/12!! Starting to flower now. Removed some leaves that were blocking bud sites.
In the beginning of bloom your humidity can range from 45-50% you should lower it to 35% in the last few weeks of bloom. Ideal temperature would be 75 F but anything in the 68- 80 F would work. A 10-15 degree day night temp swing is also acceptable. If temperatures are too hot or cold it will slow down bud growth If temps are too high it can effect the smell,density and thc content of the buds. Hope this helps good luck
Everything went well again this week. Adding on the buds now. Starting to get some trichs and good smells. Seems like the lady’s are doing fine!! Everyday I notice a difference now. The stretch was pretty crazy. Keep it realz yo!!
This week went great. Buds are growing and smelling real good. They are getting more trichomes and looking healthy!! Around 4 weeks left probably. Can’t wait 😋
This week went good, buds getting bigger and trichomes all over now. The smell is amazing on both Og kush and Critical kush!! I’m so excited I made it this far!! Soooooo I thought I was getting light or heat burn but turns out it was a touch of nutrient burn. I turned my light to 600 watts after I figured that out. Now they loving the light. I’m cutting back on the nutes now. Hahaha lots to learn ✌️🏼!! Keep it realz yo!
Last 2 weeks or so of flowering. Growing in soil. Should i start giving them just plain water?? How long to flush? When should i use flawless finish? Thanks for the help 😋
Flushing is a topic many growers argue about because studies have shown it doesn't reduce the nutrient content in the bud. Towards the end of flowering, plants eat significantly less, so a flush or large feed reduction won't starve the plant and inhbit THC and flower production. I would flush, but make sure you are actually in your final two weeks and this week start to reduce the feed to prep the plant for the flush. The flush is LESS important than keeping your plant healthy all the way through its' life. Nothing is worse then having to harvest a plant early and losing a lot of time and yield/ Good luck and happy growing!
Going good, better than I expected 😊. 8 weeks today since switching to 12/12 lighting. One Og Kush look completely different and seem to almost be done. The other 3 are not ready yet. Maybe another week or so. Just giving plain water now when they need. The trichomes are piling on and smelling so delicious and sweet!! ❤️ Stay tuned for my first harvest indoors 😁✌️🏼☮️. Taker easy!
Everything is going good!! 1 OG kush was done around 60 days flowering. The other 3 plants have another week at least to go. Gaining lots of weight and filling with trichomes!! I had to tie up some branches from falling. Smells so good 🤤!! It’s weird, but cool how 2 Og kush were both different and how both critical kush are both different. ok I have Barney’s farm Critical kush and Growers choice Og kush and they seem to be taking a long time to finish. I switched my lights to 12/12 April 17th, which is 77 days ago. I’m just wondering why they seem to be taking longer than expected ???
Yeah it’s not normal for kush to flower for that long. If I’m not mistaken should be about 8 weeks. Your grow condition have a lot of influence on your flowering period. As an example my buddy uses chinese LED which has more of a higher spectrum output of let’s say 5000k whereas I flower using a full spectrum 3000k QB and he will harvest 2 weeks before me. If your plants experienced any kind of stress along the way its possible for the extended flowering time. Look at your trichomes and let them tell you.
Very happy with the final product!! Very sticky and not very strong smell. Dried for a week then tested. Very good stone, and tastes really good. It burnt clean and was smooth smoke. I would grow this again!!
This was a awesome first grow for me!! Critical kush really turned out nice and I love smoking it and would recommend other people to try it. Great from start to finish! My harvest is still drying so I really don’t know the final dry weight yet but will post when I do!!
I grew 2 Og kush from Growers choice seeds and both were different!! One finished first out of the 4 in my tent. Also that one looked completely different but was just as good. They both are super sticky and very very great smell!! Lots of trichomes! My first finisher didn’t yield a whole lot but the quality was super!!! Smells of lemon and fruity!! Yumm! My second one took much longer to finish but yielded way more.
For my first time growing inside I think it went awesome!! The Og kush is so good and I would definitely recommend it!! The stone and very nice and the smoke is smooth and it burns clean!! Very happy with this experience!!

@Puffer_Bill, lol good questions! No actually I have not checked my waters ph. I have just trusted that this stuff works. It seems to be doing great for my plants so I’m assuming it’s keeping my ph ok.

Thank you for replying. Going to be quite strange for me not to check PH. Have you tried testing your waters PH during use of PH Perfect Tech Nutrients. If yes, what PH level? Just curious. Despite reading about it... until I put into practice my 🧠 cant grasp the concept. 🤯

Not one answer to this. If you feed sparingly, then just plain water for a week. If you are always near nute excess or burn, then flush and give plain water for two weeks
