3rd grow

Good week, nothing bad happened to the ladies. Not really sure I know what I am doing but so far so good. Just following the nute instructions and keeping fluid temps down, which is harder than I thought. Seems to have spread out not too bad, and lots of light( unsure of actual wattage draw, but you know how that goes with leds) so hoping lots of nugs. Three plants total, 2 are hiding and the one on the left is an unknown strain lol, snuck it in there to see what would happen, but that’s another story maybe. Getting back to the led lights, Chinese made and boasting high wattage but what do you actually throw at the girls? At any rate, it is what it is and that’s what I got so we will see. This is more for me to log what I am doing as I would never remember half of it, maybe learn a thing or two. If you’ve read this far, great, we’ll done and tune in next week.

Good day folks. It’s update day, and was looking forward to it. I enjoy the change from week to week, especially comparing pics. Now I did update my week one pics, half way through, first ones I left the grow lights on. So my anticipated comparison was not all I had hoped, kind of looks same same lol. At any rate, so far so good this week, nothing bad has transpired in my opinion. Have been trimming a few fan leaves here and there for some exposure, 4 or 5 a day give or take. Main plant still gulping a couple of litres every day, smell has gone up a bit, not sure if it’s weak or normal.......... so went with normal. Getting some more frost in areas, and overall an uneventful week, which is fine by me. The back left plant, was a seed I found on a rolling tray of mine. I am unsure of what it is but have narrowed it down to 3 suspects. Threw it in there to see what happens, late entry so she pretty much grew up in 12 and 12. As always, keep it realz. Greazy

Yo. Rough week, have some burnt tips, and ph, ppm was all whacked out. Flushed and went back in with just water for a bit. Maybe I messed up on my maths and overloaded the Nutes. Will see how it goes the next few days. I can’t download any pics for some reason, if I figure that out will put some up. Still looks good, she putting on some weight in areas, shinier all around. That unknown in the left corner, she has some little buds starting but leaves curling up, some yellowing on a few. Too much water with bad ph? I will leave her alone for a bit, I could be smothering the relationship. Hopefully got my solution back on track, and wishing for another uneventful week. Well, well, well, that was an interesting week. I will start with the ph and ppm issue, which I hope is under control now. Had to flush and was running straight 6.5 ph water for 2 days. Then drained and re dosed with half Nute regime, around 700 ppm at 6 ph, re calibrated my meter, hope it wasn’t part of the problem. Then topped off with straight water for the next few days. Did 2 water tests each day and ph was stable, and ppm was dropping as I was adding water. My newb conclusion is I must have gotten lazy with my Nute measurements, too much added, poor maths. Not discounting the ph meter, but can’t point my finger at him yet. As of today, last solution sample was good, so going to slowly climb back to the 1250 ppm range and hope for a good final swell of buds I can be proud of. One thing I will say, my next project I will be keeping track of everything daily as no telling what could be learned haha. Oh I almost forgot to mention my torrid love affair with the shady looking left plant is still ongoing. Last week I vowed to leave her be for a bit and that I did. Maybe too much as she’s regressed a bit with the problems. I am not expecting much, just hate setting her up to fail so will see what I can do. Could be that I am a one woman man...........or need more practice lol. Thanks for reading this far, you probably as bored as I am hahah. Yo to the yo! Another week gone by, and my girl made it through alright. Had some interesting times with ph and nutes the last few weeks, but things seem to have calmed down. Pretty sure I got a little sloppy, mixing nutes like I do drinks.........only an ounce, right? Ya or 2 or 3, you know what I’m saying. All partying aside, she is enjoying her cocktails again, and I think towards the end of this week will ween her off and start flushing. Read a lot about proper flushing, makes sense to me. But don’t think I will use any flushing agents, just straight water. Getting excited and scoping out trichomes, not any orange ones yet. My unknown lady on the left is still kicking, like an old hag with a new cane. Looks terrible but might just produce a decent bud up top, so trying to help her finish the race. Any comments on readiness appreciated, thinking couple weeks at the most? Thanks for reading, and keep it realz out there! Greazy

Yo to the yo! Week 8 is upon me, well us I suppose, for whomever is still with me lol. Anxious week for me as want to harvest at the right time, but she looks about spent. Some yellowing coming in on bottom leaves, as well as outer edges on some upper fans. Could be because I have dropped most nutes and am sure it doesn’t take long to notice in dwc. Spotted quite a few cloudy trichs but very few ambers, so thought chopping soon be best as it is already an Indica. My couch already has a decent control of me so no need to boost its power too much. The pics show a little extra room as I removed the CK in the corner, which was a late addition, and could never get its foot in the door. The dwc main plant doesn’t like to share, and focus was on her for the most part anyways. The right CK was in soil, and had a rough early life so happy she made it this far. Upon removing some of my netting realized buds are heavy, and a few fell over so had to re tie them. After looking at the gong show I made, I figured it was time. Unless someone tells me to leave them, will be hanging and cleaning up the tent this week. Will post more pics and posts as I go. Started flushing, ph water with GP Rezin at 2ml/litre on the 4th( damn salesman talked me into it! Was going with straight ph water initially) Topped off today Leaving in total darkness for 48 hrs and no top ups Any tips, tricks or “ that’s not going to work” please let me know. Keep it realz. Yo. Had second thoughts about taking her down........... a minute after I had taken her down. What if I had waited another week? 2 even? I suppose that’s what it’s all about, I will have to wait for the next girl to find out. Patience. Anyway, she’s down and looking good. Happy with the outcome, although after trimming realized the importance of defoliating. Lots of popcorn that could have gone upstairs to the big show. Plan on rectifying some of that on the next one. That’s all I got for now, updates to come in weight, potency, bong savviness, etc soon. Glad I had some alcohol swabs after handling, as things kinda got out of hand. Not much experience but GP nutes and Barney’s CK seemed to help me through the grow. Mistakes were made and still, in my opinion, came out with some good looking, trimmed poorly, herb.
