Day 1.Blue Dream popped last night. Looking to see where this leads.
Day 3. She looks extra leggy. The height needs to be adjusted
Day 4 Still going strong and will be a vigorous plant. Wait for it.
Day 7 Still waiting but progress is happening below the soil
D8 Looking good. Still growing. I think its initial legginess has stoped. I raised it up by 2 inches.
Through D9-D13.... She has been going ok.. Not too sure if she is on track or behind. The roots on D13 are showing at the bottom of the cup and would be transplanted tomorrow.
D14.. Transplant was successful. Made her way up town to a 3G pot.. She had a light watering.
D18...She got a good flush today. Ec was too high. and PH was too low. Hopefully she can get back to business now in full speed.
D20.. She's looking ok.. No visual signs of any deficiencies.
D21.. Did a little tie up of the top node to allow the 3rd node stems to get some direct light.
D22......First step in mainlining done. Topped at the 3rd node.
D24.. She looks like she has recovered from her topping.. Stem are coming in strong.
D28 .. Took off one fan leaf....
D29 .... stems getting stronger.
The little lady is coming along well. A few of the older fan leaves removed. She had a watering on D38 with the EC and pH were in an acceptable range. Usually do a feed to drain .. Spent some time this week getting some natural sun for about 4 hrs on the sunny days.
Really good week. That blue dream still doing her thing. Not the tallest of girls but she'll do. Spent some time in the sun this week just to get herself ready. Her run off EC has been a good range. However the pH was a bit on the low side 5.9ish.
Easy going transition into flower
. . From about day 3 the stretching started. Some to growth looks lighter green so I'll have to see what's that about. Day 5 most of the light green color was gone from the leaves and any purpling of the stems were gone after feeding. By F.D7 some stakes were placed to open up her branches to the light. It's all about the penetration right.
Very good week of being a cannabis gardener. Well happy with the blue dream. No apparent deficiencies and she's praying. The stretch has been good. Almost at the end of the 2nd week so not sure if she's still stretching. Just have to keep opening her up and let that light get in deep.
Good week. Good week. She's a bit bushy though so I'll try and get some leaves removed as having serious humidity issues in the tent. Good pistil development coming along. Sexy, ain't she. This blue dream is a bushy one though.
Very good week. Feeding is on point. Even though in soil in not letting the soil dry out too much. Feeding is about every 2 days maybe 3. Getting issues keeping my tent cool during lights on.. Humidity could be lower too. The pistils are nice white and fluffy. The smell is overwhelming.
Coming along well. Smell is so strong.. watering and feeding has been on point. Still struggling with optimum environmental settings. Because of her strain she looks like a heavy yielder however loads of defoliation want needed. Still opening up the branches to get those popcorn buds below more light..
This is where I need to place my focus on.. watching these tricomes daily to figure out when to start flushing. This grow im going for the more milky than amber look. 70%-30% ratio. A few days later but there is Amber everywhere. This is a sample from top cola.
Ok. On flower day 47 started flush. Ended up using 5gallons to bring her down from 800ppm to about mid 500ppm. Will use RO water next flush dirt better results. Recent tricomes pics shows milky clear with a hint of Amber.... This sample came from 5" down the canopy. Also the has been an emergence of new white pistils at the top colas. On day 52 she was given ice at her roots.
Coming down to the last few days.. been giving her cold water and ice cubes to see the effects. The buds feel hard. Some white pistils showing but the majority are brown. She got 48hrs of darkness and got chopped on day 64. Leaves head some good yellowing.
First of all thanks for anyone who tuned in on this grow. It has been relaxing and rewarding. The harvest was satisfying. Haven't tested it yet but I'm time to come if the taste is anything like the smell then it's going to be an experience.
Referring to pics through development one could observe the she was very vigorous from seed to the end. No major issues. She handled the nutrients thrown at her well. Using grow diaries was an incentive to document everything and also a guide to compare work and techniques of other growers. Couple of things needs to be improved from this grow.. will try coco next time around for faster growth. Also. Need would love for the buds to be rock hard but that could be strain dependant. Thanks for following my grow.
@NastyYeti, Yeah , I hear you on that one.. LOL LOL.. I used those clear cups to give me an indication of root development.. Also that's why I kept them in those spiderman cups.
@MRTHC, I see. I was having a hard time differentiating in that pic. You’re right blue dream has a long flowering time. Use your best judgment my friend.
@MaryJaneUSA, Thnaks for the heads up ,., I have taken newer pics yesterday which I will post but the tricomes on that pic look clear.. not even cloudy.... Started a very weak feeding around .9 EC. Next week will be the hard flush. From past trials this strain goes until day 65-70
