Decimotox Had 4/6 germination on Eucalypto, but the two failures were my fault I think. Had 3/6 germination on the Don Lemon, and the three failures were also likely my fault. I think I damped off the first round of seeds I'd popped, but round 2 was successful. First go-'round I just put them in a glass of water for ~36-40 hours and then planted. Only 1 sprout came of those first 6 I planted. Second go-'round, I added a wet paper towel step after ~24 hours soaking in a cup of water. Once taproots were ~2 inches long, I planted and got 6/6 sprouts. However, I had to cull one (middle-right in the picture). It didn't take in the soil and just died.
We move forward with 4x Eucalypto and 2x Don Lemon!
The crosses are: Eucalypto (Trap God x Giggle Gas); Don Lemon (Lemon Tree x Don Mega)

Decimotox This pic for week 1 is a week after sprout. 8 days old. E2 and E3 absolutely took off and are by far the most vigorous of the bunch, while the other 4 have begun rather slowly. DL1 is a runt and E4 is a self-topper and will be a bit of a runt likely, too. DL2 and E1 are similar sizes even though E1 is about 4 days older.

Decimotox Day 15! Looking good. Slow growing, but assuming it's because they're spending their energy filling out the solo cups. E2 and E3 still far away the more vigorous of the plants. Will be transplanting E2 and E3 within the next 2-4 days.

Decimotox Completed 3 weeks as of earlier this week, so we're starting week 4 for most of the plants! E1 is a few days older, so she's almost done with week 4. Lumping them all in one diary entry, though. Not much to report other than transplanting this week. We transplanted E3 on 6/16 as she was the biggest at the time. E2 was transplanted the next day. Then E1 and DL1 were transplanted last night, 6/19. E4 and DL2 will be transplanted in the next 2 days.
Will begin training these girls this weekend, and will top them within the next 7 days most likely. My last diary I'd been updating at the beginning of every week (i.e. week "4" update was the end of week 3). This one we're doing it the opposite. Updates will be at the end. So today's update labeled as week 3 will be the actual end of week 3 and the start of week 4. I gotta remember that myself. lmao basically each update will be the end of that week.

Decimotox End of week 4! Topped four of these girls so far (E1/2/3 and DL1). Will be topping E4 and DL2 here soon -- transplanted these two since last update also. Obviously we've starting LST, bending them over to get those lower nodes more light.
I'll be opening up my other tent soon and moving the three smaller plants over there (probably DL1/2 and E4). We'll see what it looks like over the coming week. Looking to flower at least E1/2/3 in the next ~3 weeks.

Decimotox End of week 5! We're a day late on the update, oopsie poopsie. We're looking great! Topped DL2 and E4 this past week. Been giving these girls recharge and silica the last few waterings. Also, I've ramped up my other tent and moved E4 and DL1/2 over there. We've been doing some LST, but haven't had to do as much on these as I've had to do on other plants in the past. These have bushed out really nicely without much work. You love to see it! Some of the lowers have actually been able to catch up to the others, which hasn't always been the case for my plants.
For E1/2/3: will be transplanting into 5 gallon pots and flowering within the next 2 weeks. The DLs and E4 might need an extra week or two. They're a tiny bit younger. Thanks for checking out my journal! Stay up!

Decimotox End of week 6! Not much to report...just letting these girls grow. All showing female pre-flowers, but DL1's look a little odd. Definitely not full on male parts, but definitely odd-looking female bracts early on lol. Watching her closely. Been giving them alternating waterings of silica and recharge. The branches have strengthened up nicely the last week or so.
I'll be transplanting E1/2/3 today or tomorrow and flowering them within the next 7-10 days. Usually I flip to flower about 4-5 days after transplanting, but might give these girls an extra couple days on top of that. They've outgrown their 2 gal pots - drinking so much water that I need to water every 36 hours (it had been 48-60 hours between waterings). Won't be transplanting E4 and DL1/2 for another 10 days or so. These girls are looking pretty damn good. Excited to see what flowering brings. I'd like to take clones of E1/2/3 just in case one of them is a keeper, but I don't have the facilities to house them.
Anyway, thanks for checking out the diary! Stay up!

Decimotox End of week 7 for DL1/2 and E4.
Start of flowering for E/1/2/3! I flipped those girls 3 days ago. Will be transplanting DL1/2 and E4 today after I post this update, so next week's update will have the start of flower for those girls as well! DL1 especially is showing her hunger, so it's definitely time to transplant! We pushed it out a few days longer than I'd have liked, but it's ok.
We're looking good overall. The Eucalypti (1/2/3 especially) are looking insanely healthy. They seem to have taken to their new soil well and are loving the silicore supplement from Solfire that I've worked into the waterings. Can't wait until I can buy more of this silicore stuff. The sample won't last me long lol.
In about 10 days, I'll do a heavy defoliation on E/1/2/3 and check for herms/sacs; then another, lighter defoliation 2 weeks later around week 4 of flower. Smooth sailing after that. Haven't seen any signs of sacs in the preflowers, but we'll see what we get in a couple weeks. I'm not even close to the best grower in the world, but I definitely feel like I've found a great recipe for success. This might've been the least amount of LST I've ever done on plants to get ~10-12 tops per plant, which is usually my goal. I would love to find a keeper pheno in a grow sometime and keep one giant mother plant, or even just train one plant in my 3x3 and fill the whole thing out. But for now, I'll keep going with three in the 3x3 lol. Should be another great harvest when all is said and done; fingers crossed no major issues. Humidity and temp will be my biggest challenges this summer. I likely will have to contend with 60+% humidity in flower. It's gonna suck. But we're going to persevere...somehow.

Decimotox --E1/2/3--
We are starting week 2 of flowering for E1/2/3! E1 and E2 are looking especially nice. E3 has weird looking leaves but is keeping up in height with her sisters. I figured she would end up being a runt. I'll do more detailed photos next week after I defoliate and lollipop them all. The Eucalypto is gaining reputation in the Solfire discord as an uber-stretcher, and it's seriously no joke. These girls have grown nearly 2 inches per day the past week. I should have enough vertical room, no problem, but it's still insane! As mentioned, in 7 days from this post I'll be doing the first round of heavy defoliation and lollipopping (about 40% of the plant from the dirt - day 14). After that, I'll do another moderate defoliation in week 4 (~day 28) and then let them rock for the last ~5 weeks! These should be 56-63 day flowering plants. I'm guessing ~60 days.
--E4 and DL1/2--
Starting week 9 of veg for E4 and DL1/2 (end of week 8). Will be flowering E4 and DL1/2 in the next few days. They were transplanted a week ago so the roots have been stretching out a bit.
I'm really starting to think DL2 might be a keeper. She's vegging super well, has been very resilient, and has responded well to the training and topping. Really an easy plant. I'm hoping her flowers reflect the same potential I'm seeing in the vegging plant.

Decimotox --E1/2/3--
Starting week 3 of flowering! Looking great. I gave them a heavy defoliation and lollipopping 2 days ago. They've stretched so much and are still going. By far the tallest plants I've ever grown. I have about 1 foot of space left in the tent (maybe slightly less), so hoping they don't stretch much more! No doubt the craziest stretching strain I've ever grown. I'm very wary of herms after my last grow, so I've been watching these girls like a hawk. No signs of sacs yet! Hoping the defol/lollipopping helps me identify herms/sacs much more easily, but also hoping that it didn't stress the plants too much and cause those same herms that I'm trying to avoid. We'll see.
--E4 and DL1/2--
We're on day 4 of flower for DL2 and E4. I had to cull DL1 as "he" was a true-blue male. I hadn't seen a true, 100% male before in my grows. First time seeing it. I'd noticed weird looking preflowers on DL1 for a couple weeks though, so I did a little photo research last week and it was obvious that it was a male. Not a single female preflower on the plant after a thorough inspection. I had a pic of one of the preflowers but I've since deleted it or I'd have posted here too. Looked like the eagle claws, had stems. 100% male..which is crazy from feminized seeds. But I guess it does happen very rarely. We move forward with DL2 and E4! They both look great and are for sure females!
Thanks for checking out the grow! Stay up!
