ojulhao Starting my first diary here :) This will be an experiment growing a Milky Way F1 Auto, which I got as a gift from a Zamnesia purchase, during the Berlin summer. More specifically, I’ll be growing this plant on my north-facing balcony, which will be getting an average of 4.5 hours of direct sunlight per day. I’ll be using a 15L fabric pot by ProPot, filled with All Mix soil by Biobizz. For nutrients, I’ll probably go with Biobizz Nutrients. Watering will be done with regular tap water from Berlin, aiming for a pH of 6.3. The germination process was done using the toilet paper method inside a ziplock bag. To be honest, I’m not expecting much from this. It’s just an experiment — I usually grow indoors because of the limited sunlight on my balcony. Let’s be real: I’d be surprised if I get more than 15g out of it 😅

ojulhao The plant is looking good so far! :) No special comments. I prepared a 500 ml bottle of water pH 6.3 with nutrients and used it throughout the week. The day and night air temperature and humidity were calculated using the Open-Meteo API with a script. These values represent weekly averages. The average direct sunlight on my balcony is about 4.5 hours per day. However, throughout the day, the plant also receives indirect light. I will not be measuring substrate or solution temperature. I usually prepare the nutrient solution on Sunday and use it throughout the week.

ojulhao During the last seven days, she has doubled in size. However, the two top leaves that started to appear last week haven't grown much. We've had a week with little sunlight, especially in the mornings, when the sun shines on my balcony only for a very brief time.

ojulhao We had a very rainy week, which increased the average humidity to 76%. Consequently, I didn't water her that much. The plant is already 19 cm tall and seems to be growing nicely so far :)

Hope you get plenty of sun in the coming weeks, or at least the full 4.5 hours the location gets.🤞
