Schnabeldino Hey growmies! 🌱✨ Kicking off a new grow and super excited to try something fresh! This run, I’m going with Sweet Seeds! 🚀 After really enjoying Red Hot Cookies, I’m now diving into the deliciously named Permanent Jealousy (Permanent Marker x Jealousy Z) — an XL autoflower packed with resin-heavy buds, perfect for extracts. 🔥 The terp profile sounds wild: Sour Diesel vibes mixed with earthy, citrus, minty, and woody notes. Expect a balanced high full of creativity, euphoria, and uplifting energy. Strain Specs: 🌿 SWS115 | 63% Indica / 37% Sativa 💥 THC: 20–28% 📏 Height: 40–120 cm ⏱️ Ready: ~8 weeks from seed 🏡 Indoor: 400–500 g/m² 🧠 Effect: Stimulating, happiness, creativity 🌈 Taste: Citrus, mint, woody I'm going to use small pots (2 liter) because I don't have that much space and I want the plant to stay small - so I have to water more often but you have to die a death haha. Can’t wait to see how she turns out – drop any tips if you’ve run this one before! 🙌

Schnabeldino _____📅 Week 5 | 📅 Day 29 - 35 | ______ 🌼🌸🌺Flower🌼🌸🌺 Day 32 🌞💧 🔸Unbelievable, I would never have thought that it would get so big in a 2 liter pot - 126 cm tall, it almost scratches the top of the lamp, you can clearly see light stress on the top cola. Let's see what I'm going to do with her haha. 🔸It has happened to me twice now that the pot has dried out completely, on warm days like the one we are having at the moment I have to water it twice a day. I think this is what caused the lower yellow leaves. 🔸I now add Big Bud from AN to my watering regime Day 34 🔸I have decided to crop the lady...she has coped wonderfully over the last 2 days...the buds have stretched out towards the light again after 1-2 days - a good sign. Schnabeldino _____📅 Week 6 | 📅 Day 36 - 42 | 🌼🌸🌺Flower🌼🌸🌺 ______ Day 39 🌞💧 🔸I had to crop her last week, and she took it like a champ. She didn't act up at all in the days that followed, and the canopy looks super wild, but I totally love it 😍😂 🔸Unfortunately, it's not the ideal lamp for the flowering phase because it lacks the high red component – but let's see how it turns out. Schnabeldino _____📅 Week 7 | 📅 Day 43 - 49 | 🌼🌸🌺Flower🌼🌸🌺 ______ Day 45 🌞💧 🔸The plant appears to be in good health and is in the middle of its third week of flowering. Schnabeldino _____📅 Week 8 | 📅 Day 50 - 56 | 🌼🌸🌺Flower🌼🌸🌺 ______ Day 53 🌞 🔸 Visually, the buds look impressive and resinous, but to the touch they are rather loose and airy instead of really compact and firm. 🔸This means that the calyxes are not extremely close together, but have a little more space between them. As a result, they weigh less per volume and feel “fluffier” and softer when squeezed. This may be due to the genetics of Permanent Jealousy, the lighting intensity, the pot size, or even the temperature/humidity during flowering. For me, it's 100% the lamp; this is the second time that the buds have become so fluffy under it...well, no wonder with the red light spectrum. I normally only use the lamp for the veggie stage. 🔸In any case, it has already lost a few leaves. The substrate also does not dry out as well as with Pineapple Slush...let's wait and see how it does. 🔸Now add Overdrive instead of Big Bud. 📈 Current Conditions 🌡️🔆 = 27° 🌡️🌜 = 20-21° 💨 Hum. = 60% 🔦 PPFD = 700 µmol 18/6 🔦⌚ DLI = ~45 🛠️ Setup (unchanged) 💡 Light: 1 x Viparspectra XS1500 Pro 150 Watt auf 100% ⛺ Zelt: 120 x 120 x 180 🍯 Pots: 2 Liter Töpfe 🌱 Soil: Bio-Bizz Light Mix 💊 Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients 💧 Water: Leitungswasser 0,5 EC

Schnabeldino _____📅 Week 9 | 📅 Day 57 - 63 | 🌼🌸🌺Flower🌼🌸🌺 ______ Day 60 🌞 🔸 Alright folks, the Permanent Jealousy is also coming along really nicely! 💚 The buds aren’t really getting any denser anymore – a bit on the fluffy side as you can see in the pics – but wow, the size of these things is insane! 😅 It smells fine, but it's not really my taste. It has a strong, gassy, earthy smell; hard to say exactly what it smells like. 🔸It’s pretty clear the lamp isn’t the best for flowering since there’s just not enough red spectrum, but she’s still pushing hard. Trichomes are mostly clear to milky, so we’ll need a little more patience, but the excitement grows with every single day. 🔸even in that tiny 2L pot she’s already packing on some serious weight – you notice it straight away when lifting her. Without support she’d definitely fall right over, haha. 📈 Current Conditions 🌡️🔆 = 29° 🌡️🌜 = 20-21° 💨 Hum. = 58% 🔦 PPFD = 700 µmol 18/6 🔦⌚ DLI = ~45 🛠️ Setup (unchanged) 💡 Light: 1 x Viparspectra XS1500 Pro 150 Watt auf 100% ⛺ Zelt: 120 x 120 x 180 🍯 Pots: 2 Liter Töpfe 🌱 Soil: Bio-Bizz Light Mix 💊 Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients 💧 Water: Leitungswasser 0,5 EC

Week 10. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

Permanent Jealousy really surprised me – despite a few minor drawbacks. Visually, the buds look impressive: big and voluminous, though a bit on the fluffy side. That’s probably due to the lack of red spectrum from my Viparspectra, but I expected that. When I harvested and weighed them, I was honestly shocked: a solid 233 grams wet – from just a 2-liter pot! I truly didn’t see that coming. The smell, however, is quite pungent and not really my cup of tea – but that doesn’t necessarily mean anything when it comes to effect or overall quality. All in all, I’m very satisfied, especially with the yield. Permanent Jealousy definitely proved that you can grow something big even in a small pot.

Schnabeldino Pineapple Slush & Permanent Jealousy – Grow Report This round surprised me twice over. Both plants were in 2-liter pots, and yet they delivered more than I ever could have imagined. Pineapple Slush The Pineapple Slush was simply impressive. Its buds were rock hard and huge, especially considering how small the pot was. I harvested it on day 66, and when I put it on the scale, I could hardly believe it: almost 350 g wet! The smell is absolutely amazing – sweet, fruity, and actually with a clear pineapple note. Even while trimming, I felt like I was sitting in a fruit basket. A strain I will definitely grow again. Permanent Jealousy Visually, Permanent Jealousy was also impressive: large, voluminous buds. A little fluffy – probably due to the weak red spectrum of my Viparspectra – but still a real eye-catcher. When I harvested it on day 68 and saw just under 233 g wet on the scales, I was really amazed. The smell is strong and, to be honest, not my cup of tea, but that doesn't mean anything – in the end, it's the effect that counts. All in all, I'm very satisfied, especially for a 2-liter pot, it's a top result. Conclusion: Two strains that impressed in their own way. Pineapple Slush with aroma and density, Permanent Jealousy with yield and appearance. For me, it was an all-around successful run.

@Schnabeldino, my two pence :) I would not tie knot, stem still grows ( expands), loops always better. In a week time i would redo this spot, let her heal for now. Its still smart to leave support, with time she will run up ( thats why i tie to bottom too ) , but with bud weight, it will bend down, so support is needed. I always kept ties till the end. Should give you nice and even harvest by quality and maturity.

Do you cover the see-through pots with something? In my experience, the plants don't do too well with see-through pots, that's why I was asking.
Schnabeldino
Schnabeldinocommented1mo ago
@kohlrabi, Helllooo Kohlrabi, I know what you're getting at, I've often read that roots don't like light or UV radiation. I have not yet been able to tell the difference between normal pots and transparent ones. I normally plant them in larger pots after 2-3 weeks. I only use them for propagation, but in this case I leave them completely in this 2 liter pot for the whole time. they drink more, but I can't see any negative signs yet. Over time the transparent pot gets dirty and green anyway because of algae growth...I have already done a few micro grows in the transparent pots. In theory it could be that the plants don't like it, but I couldn't really see it. The light doesn't shine directly onto the pots. What experience have you had?
