DogDoctorOfficial Germination Report – Sunday Driver by Zamnesia Seeds The beginning of a new grow series: “Seeds & Journeys – From Germination to Glory” Hello growers and friends, This marks the first log in a brand-new chapter of our cultivation journey. We’re starting things off with a germination report for Sunday Driver by Zamnesia Seeds, a smooth and promising kickoff to what’s set to be a detailed and transparent grow series. Method & Setup For this germination, we used a straightforward yet effective method: a clean weekly pillbox, filled with water in each compartment. The pillbox was labeled with the name of the genetics for clarity, in this case, Sunday Driver. Nutrients in the Water We added a light mix of nutrients to boost early development and give the seeds the best start possible: • Aptus Holland Regulator • Aptus Holland Start Booster These products were chosen with intention: • Regulator supports stronger cell structure, enhances stress resistance, and improves nutrient uptake, even at the earliest stage. • Start Booster promotes rapid root initiation and kickstarts growth with beneficial organic compounds and root-stimulating microbes. This combination helps create optimal conditions for healthy, vigorous germination. Germination Results • Three seeds were germinated • All three successfully cracked and showed signs of life within 48 hours • Once the taproots appeared, they were transferred to soil • In less than 24 hours after being placed in soil, they all emerged from the surface with healthy cotyledons This gave us a perfect 100% germination rate, and we’ll be selecting the best two to move forward with into the vegetative stage. About the Series This log is the first in a new educational and in-depth grow series. We’ll be covering every step of the process, from seed to harvest, with full transparency. We’ll also be explaining the why behind every decision, every product, and every step. This series is coming soon to YouTube, so make sure to subscribe and stay tuned if you want to follow the full journey. It’s going to be something special, different from anything we’ve done before. DogDoctorOfficial Week 2 – Bold Beginnings: Early Transplant into Final Pot As we wrap up the first week of vegetative growth, it’s time for a bold move in this grow. I’ve decided to transplant the Sundae Driver ladies directly into their final pots, yes, right at the end of week one. No intermediate potting, no hesitation, just straight into the big leagues. Why the Bold Move? The decision comes from a mix of curiosity, trust in the genetics, and confidence in the soil prep. By placing them into their final 11L fabric pots early, the goal is to: Avoid the stress of multiple transplants Let the root system establish and expand freely from the start Observe how young plants respond to early root zone stability This is an experiment as much as it is a strategy, and I’m excited to see how it unfolds. Pot & Medium Each plant was transplanted into an 11L fabric pot by Zamnesia, great breathability, great drainage, and a good long-term home for these girls. The soil mix was thoughtfully layered and prepared in advance. Here’s the full blend: Base soil: Atami Janeco Light Mix Super soil layer: Amended with Aptus Holland full line, including: All-in-One Pellet nutrients Mycor Mix (for mycorrhizal fungi) Substrate Buffer (to stabilize pH and support micro life) Micro-Mix (for trace elements and microbial support) The super soil was mixed and i did not left to settle before transplant day, giving the microbes time to activate and the structure to balance, i moved them in to there strait way. Transplant Process The transplant itself was smooth and gentle. The seedlings had developed a healthy starter root structure, just enough to hold together while moving. After setting them into the center of the pre-moistened pots, I lightly watered them in with plain water + Regulator and start-booster, letting them settle without overwhelming them. Looking Ahead The plan now is to veg them for another 2–3 weeks, allowing them to fill out and respond to their new environment. From this point forward, they’ll live in this pot for the entire run—no more transplants. It’s a commitment to stability and microbial symbiosis. This kind of early transplant into a living soil setup can go either way, but I’m optimistic. With strong genetics and the right care, I believe they’ll thrive. Let’s grow. Let’s learn. Let’s see where this bold start leads us. Thanks for following along. DogDoctorOfficial Week 2 Veg – After Transplant: Building Roots, Building Systems The second week of veg brings growth, structure, and expansion—not only for our Sunday Driver girls, but for the entire grow space. It’s the calm after the bold transplant, and these ladies are not just settling in—they’re thriving. Post-Transplant Progress Our two Sundae Driver phenos have responded beautifully to the early transplant into their final 11L fabric pots. Both are drilling down, anchoring in, and pushing out new growth. Big, wide leaves are opening up—three-fingered and now already showing the next set, likely four-fingered. A sign of happy plants and balanced roots. This early stage is all about foundation—not rushing, just setting the tone for a smooth, strong run. ⸻ Water & Nutrient Mix Our hand-mixed water solution this week was all about balance and bioavailability. Here’s the data and recipe: • pH: 5.83 • EC: 1.01 • Water temp: 18.5°C • Feeding mix (per liter): • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Start Booster – 2 ml These dosages are low and precise, ideal for this early veg stage. We’re aiming to stimulate root zone health, build calcium-magnesium reserves, and support early vegetative structure without overfeeding. A light but powerful start. ⸻ Environment & Conditions The tent is alive. This isn’t just about two girls—it’s an entire shared ecosystem with sisters growing alongside them. We’re making space and improving structure as the room fills up. • Tent: 8x8 shared space • Lighting & air under control with: TrolMaster Hydro-X system • Room temp: 27°C • Humidity: 57.4% • CO₂: 632 ppm • Watering: Still done by hand—with love and precision • Surveillance: Full control via TrolMaster app + camera • We see everything… even when we’re pooping. • Yes, Big Brother is now a grower. This week, the environment is being fine-tuned. We’re building the backbone of the grow: sensors, cables, splitters, probes, and control points. It’s like installing the nervous system in a body that’s just begun stretching its limbs. ⸻ What to Expect (And Not Expect) We’re not chasing speed. We’re cultivating structure. In these early weeks, what we don’t see is just as important as what we do: • No rush into topping • No aggressive training—yet • Focus on leaf growth, node spacing, and root spread If all goes well, these girls will explode once they hit that root wall and start pulling in everything from that super soil. What we do expect: • Continued even growth • Leaf width increasing (more fingers, more photosynthesis) • Internal spacing developing beautifully • A calm, stress-free vegetative phase ⸻ Closing Thoughts Week two may not be the most visually dramatic moment of a grow—but it’s one of the most critical. The girls are setting their rhythm. The room is finding its balance. And we are tuning the system that will carry us through. This grow is not just about plants. It’s about decisions, discipline, and design. We’re turning an empty tent into a symphony of life—and these Sunday Drivers are front row in that orchestra. Thank you for following this journey. There’s so much more to come—training, flowering, harvest, and everything in between. Stay curious. Stay grounded. And if you ever want to check in on the girls… Well, we’re watching them on the TrolMaster camera. Yes, even when we’re on the toilet. — With growers’ love, always DD 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. DogDoctorOfficial Week 3 – Vegetation: Expanding the Ecosystem – Dual Zones, One Vision As the third week of vegetation wraps up, the Sunday Driver girls are not only thriving, they’re sharing a space that’s growing in both complexity and precision. This week, the spotlight shifts from the plants (which, yes, look phenomenal) to the gear, infrastructure, and environmental intelligence behind the grow. Because this tent is no longer a grow, it’s an ecosystem. ⸻ Dual Ecosystems – One Tent, Two Zones We’ve now split our 8x8 tent into two distinct grow zones, both under the unified control of the TrolMaster Tent-X system. Each zone is powered by its own lighting ecosystem: • Zone 1 – Future of Grow: High-efficiency full-spectrum LEDs delivering deep penetration and even canopy coverage. • Zone 2 – ThinkGrow Model Ones: New to the garden, ThinkGrow LEDs bring precision-tuned lighting, DLI-focused output, and seamless integration into the TrolMaster platform. This setup allows us to run simultaneous genetics or phases under controlled but separate lighting environments, while keeping everything under a single, centralized monitoring system. ⸻ TrolMaster – The Nerve Center Whether it’s Zone 1 or Zone 2, the TrolMaster Tent-X keeps everything synchronized and stable. Here’s what we’re running: • CO₂ sensor • PPFD sensor • Humidity & temperature probes • Camera feed (yes, even during “business” breaks in the bathroom) • Fan & intake relay controls This means real-time data, remote adjustments, alerts, and peace of mind—no guesswork, just grow logic. ⸻ Airflow, Exhaust & Filtration Air movement is just as important as light, and here’s how we’re handling that in this split-tent system: • Exhaust: Two 6” carbon-filtered systems • Spider Farmer exhaust linked to Spider Farmer GGS Controller • AeroFan exhaust connected to TrolMaster Tent-X • Intake: One 6” active intake pulling fresh air in • Carbon filters on every line, keeping air clean and odor controlled This creates a steady flow—draw in, scrub out, with each zone breathing comfortably in rhythm. ⸻ Current Feeding Routine Still watering by hand with love, and still keeping the nutrient mix clean, efficient, and appropriate for early veg: • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml/L • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml/L • Aptus Start Booster – 2 ml/L • Water stats: • pH – 5.83 • EC – 1.01 • Temp – 18.5°C The focus is still on root development, tissue strength, and stable vegetative expansion. ⸻ Visual Update & Setup Tour This week’s update includes a video walk-through of the setup, showing the airflow configuration, sensors, wiring, and the dual lighting rigs in place. No voice-over, just visual storytelling, but the system speaks for itself. ⸻ What to Expect Next We’re watching closely as each zone adapts to its light spectrum and rhythm. We’re expecting: • Continued even leaf expansion • Strong internal node development • Potential for early LST (low-stress training) next week • Data comparisons between Future of Grow and ThinkGrow zones No topping yet—we’re still in observation mode. This early phase is about letting the roots lead, then following with the foliage. ⸻ Final Thoughts – Harmony in Complexity This week, the garden evolved from a grow into a smart, multi-environment cultivation system. From the dual lighting zones to the climate controls, it’s all about precision meets intuition. Our Sunday Drivers are responding with wide, confident leaves and a calm presence. The tent feels alive. And with summer in full swing, everything, indoors and out, is reaching toward the light. — Your Grow Companion DD Dog Doctor Official 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. DogDoctorOfficial eek 1 Flower – Light Shift, Energy Shift: The Sundae Driver Flip Begins The light has changed. The rhythm has changed. And so begins the next phase of our journey with these two beautiful Sundae Driver phenos—F2 and F3, strong, structured, and ready for the path ahead. Light Flip: 11/13 Schedule This week marks the official light flip, we’ve moved from 18/6 to 11 hours ON, 13 hours OFF. This is more than a timer tweak, it’s an intentional signal to the plants. It tells them: “It’s time to shift your energy. It’s time to bloom.” Why 11/13 and not the classic 12/12? From past experience, this slightly reduced light period tends to: • Encourage faster onset of flowering • Mimic natural seasonal changes more closely • Push plants gently but clearly into the bloom phase • Slightly reduce internodal stretching, depending on strain It’s a subtle technique for growers who want to bring their genetics into flower with intention, not just automation. ⸻ Current Plant Stats Both Sundae Driver phenos are looking phenomenal: • F2 (Pheno #2): 7 to 8 solid nodes, well-structured branching • F3 (Pheno #3): 6 to 7 nodes, evenly spaced, healthy top growth • Height: ~40 cm each • Structure: Symmetrical, thriving, ready to stretch They’re not showing pistils yet—no visible pre-flowers, no white hairs, but that’s expected. It’s Week 1 Flower by light schedule, not by physiology. The hormonal shift has just begun. ⸻ Nutrient Shift – From Start to Top This week also marks a change in the feed program. We’re saying goodbye to Aptus Start Booster and welcoming Top Booster into the rotation. • Why the switch? Because the plants are transitioning from root-zone stimulation to pre-flower induction. • Top Booster is designed to: • Initiate floral development • Begin the phosphorus-potassium push • Provide trace elements aligned with bloom-stage signaling We’re using the same measurements as Start Booster, no shock, no surge. Just a clean hand-off, keeping the biological engine running smooth. Current Feed Includes: • Aptus Regulator • Aptus CalMag Boost • Aptus All-in-One Liquid • Aptus Top Booster (new this week) ⸻ Environmental Stats – Pushing the Edge, Managing the Heat • PPFD: 760 µmol/m²/s – Measured on the TrolMaster MBS-PAR sensor, dialed in • Temp: 31°C – Yes, a bit high, but the girls aren’t complaining • Humidity: 50% • VPD: 2.23 – High, but within tolerance while waiting for AC upgrade We’re riding the edge this week. It’s warm, it’s dry, but the plants are thriving, showing no signs of stress. Their resilience is a testament to your setup, your genetics, and your love. ⸻ Looking Ahead – What to Expect We’re now in the hormonal build-up phase. The girls are about to stretch, about to signal floral commitment. Here’s what we might see by next week: • First white pistils • Stretch kicking in • Top growth pushing harder than lower nodes • Nutrient demands subtly shifting—watch potassium and magnesium uptake What not to expect yet: • Buds • Resin • Drastic shape changes That comes soon—but not quite yet. ⸻ Closing Thoughts – A Sunday Drive Into Bloom This isn’t just a new phase, it’s a new pace. The grow has shifted gears, and you can feel it in the rhythm of the room. Light is shorter. Energy is tighter. But the intention is louder than ever. The Sundae Driver girls are leading us gently into bloom, graceful, balanced, and full of promise. Thank you for following along. DogDoctorOfficial eek 2 Flower – The Stretch Is On: Sundae Driver Goes Vertical They’re growing. They’re stretching. They’re thriving. Our Sundae Driver girls have officially entered the second week of flower, and they’re acting like it. At just five weeks from seed, they’re now towering at 66 cm, surging upward with that signature hybrid vigor. Photogenic Queens – A Studio Break Before they get too tall to handle, both girls were taken out for a quick, impromptu studio shoot. This may be the last time they leave the tent, because soon, they’ll be too big, too bulky, and too close to the light to move around easily. We’re documenting them now, not just because they’re stunning, but because these moments are fleeting. The stretch phase is short, intense, and marks the final architecture of your grow. ⸻ Room Conditions – Dancing with the Heat The environment this week continues the late-summer warmth, a little hotter than ideal, but still within range: • 🌡️ Day Temp: 30°C • 💧 Humidity: 58% • 🌬️ VPD: ~1.89 kPa Not perfect for flower, we know—ideal VPD for early flower would be around 1.2–1.5 kPa, but the girls are adapting beautifully. This is a reminder that perfect conditions are rare, but resilience and consistency matter more. The plants aren’t complaining, they’re thriving. ⸻ Nutrients – Still Riding with Aptus Top Booster Just like last week, we’re running the Aptus flower base lineup, now dialed into support this explosive growth phase: • Regulator • CalMag Boost • All-in-One Liquid • Top Booster (replacing Start Booster post-flip) The Top Booster continues to support pre-flower and early bud development. We’re not seeing big clusters of pistils yet, but the hormonal shift is clear. Internodal stacking is beginning, and the upper canopy is filling in. ⸻ Visuals & Under-Canopy Light Game One of the photos this week features a special cameo from the Zephyr Zamnesi, adding a bit of mystery and sparkle to the update. We also get a peek under the canopy where your under-canopy lighting setup is really starting to shine. Why does this matter? • It boosts lower bud site development • Improves light penetration during the stretch • Encourages even canopy performance later in flower Great gear is one thing, but it’s how you use it with intention that elevates a grow. ⸻ What’s Happening + What to Expect 🌱 Happening Now: • Rapid vertical stretch • Strong branching on both phenos • No major flower development yet, just the buildup 🔮 Coming Soon: • The first full signs of bud formation • Pistil clusters at node sites • Nutrient shift demands, watch for increased K/P needs in ~1 week • Possibly… the need to raise your lights! ⸻ Let’s Talk About the Week’s Importance Week 2 Flower is all about transformation. The plant is deciding: “Where will I invest my energy?” This week determines: • Final plant shape • Bud site spacing • Canopy structure going into the stacking phase This is your last week to gently train, open up the canopy, manage the airflow, and prep for the heavy flower development coming in Weeks 3–5. If there’s one message for the community this week, it’s this: 🌸 Stretch is not stress, stretch is potential. Embrace it. Document it. Enjoy the moment. ⸻ Conclusion – Moonbound Sundaes From just a few centimeters to over 60 in a blink—these Sundae Drivers are on a mission. DogDoctorOfficial Week 3 Flower – Sundae Driver From Seed to Now This journey started just five weeks ago from seed. We ran a very short veg, only about two weeks, before flipping to flower. Even with the short veg, these Sundae Driver phenos have been relentless growers: strong branching early on, healthy node spacing, and an impressive stretch once the light cycle changed. In Week 1 of flower, we switched to 11 hours on / 13 hours off to encourage a faster transition, and by Week 2, the girls had already shot past the 111 cm mark. Now, in Week 3, they’re tall, thriving, and showing no signs of slowing down. The girls are reaching for the sky, tall, elegant, and stretching with no signs of slowing down. Each day they surprise me with just how much vertical growth they’re putting on. I’m curious (and a little nervous!) to see how big they’ll eventually get. Nutrients & Additives This week, we introduced a new layer to the feed program by combining Plagron additives with our existing Aptus lineup. Here’s the full mix (all at 1 ml/L): • Plagron Power Buds – Bud stimulator to support mid-flower. • Plagron Green Sensation – All-in-one bloom booster with PK, sugars, and micronutrients to push flower development. • Plagron Sugar Royal – Amino-acid-rich formula to help boost energy and aroma production. • Aptus Regulator – For plant strength, nutrient efficiency, and stress resistance. • Aptus CalMag Boost – Maintaining balanced calcium and magnesium levels under high growth rates. The idea is to test how the Plagron additives perform alongside Aptus products. So far, the results look promising. Training & Canopy Management No heavy training, just gentle leaf tucking. Large fan leaves are being bent or tucked under branches so light can reach the bud sites without removing too much foliage. This keeps the plant energy flowing while opening up the canopy naturally. Environment • Day Temp: ~26°C • Humidity: ~67% • VPD: ~1.10 kPa (not textbook perfect, but the plants are adapting beautifully) • pH: ~6.5 • Soil Moisture: Letting it dry down to ~19% before watering, sometimes even closer to 9% in hotter moments. Lighting & Gear The girls are thriving under the Future of Grow LED fixtures, with the filtered, even spectrum keeping the canopy happy. I’ve also introduced an automated irrigation system in the tents, still testing whether to fully hand over watering duties to the system or keep a hybrid approach with some hand-watering for closer control. Extras & Comfort Yes, I had a little fun with the camera this week, a casual photo session in the "studio" (plants only in their natural “outfits”), and a special shout-out to Zamnesia for their incredibly comfortable gear. Think rugby-polo style shirts, perfect for long hours in the grow or behind the camera. What to Expect Next Week • Expect: First signs of full flower set, with more defined pistils and the earliest stacking patterns starting to show. You may also see a slowdown in vertical growth as the plants redirect more energy to flower production. • Not to Expect: Heavy trichome development just yet, it’s still a bit early for full resin production, though sugar leaves may start to sparkle. • Keep an Eye On: Environmental stability. With humidity in the upper 60s, watch for microclimate pockets that could encourage mold once flowers start stacking. Closing Reflection From seed to now, this run has been a fast, exciting climb. A short veg, an early flip, and now a careful mix of trusted Aptus products with new Plagron additives, it’s been an experiment in precision and adaptability. The girls are loving their environment, thriving under Future of Grow LEDs, and pushing toward their full flowering potential. The next few weeks will tell just how much they can deliver, but one thing’s for sure: the journey so far has been beautiful. 🔗 Gear links available on request 💬 Always here to talk flower, stretch, or any topic regarding gardening 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. @DogDoctorOfficial, Exactly. I was doing a 6 plant single strain yesterday fba2502 now Frostbanger, and 5 pics on each plant is 30 but I always had way more. I needed at least 150 per week.
