Kirsten Divine Seeds 2025 Global Autoflowering Competition vol.2
It's a pleasure to take part in this competition, it's the first time growing their seeds so I'm very excited to see what they've got!
This grow is going to be unique for me, and I can't wait to see the journey ๐
This is the first growing contest I've entered so this will be a totally new experience for me.
Of course Pablo Escobar is a legendary figure in counter culture, and in honouring his memory for the cause, let us roll one up for the hippos! ๐๐โ๏ธ
I am in love with the packaging and shipping method. I was legitimately so excited when I got to open it up, already for presentation 10/10! I can't wait to get this going!
๐ฆAuto Pablo Escobar๐ฆ
Origin:Colombia / Afghanistan
Type:Sativa
Flowering:70 - 85 Days
THC:25 - 27%
Harvest:600 - 800 g/m2
Height:110 - 150 cm
Rating:
Top-shelf Colombian Sativa with an outstandingly long breeding process behind it. Unusually euphoric Pablo Escobar (rich both in THC and myrcene โ thatโs why) was crossed with another autoflowering Sativa strain, too, originating from Colombia. Auto Pablo Escobar is a mostly universal sturdy mid-size variety that has been wanted ever since Pablo Escobar came out, gaining admiration almost immediately! Possible medical usage, great fun in recreation and vibrant commercial prospects โ not bad for an autoflowering Sativa, eh?
Both novice growers and small grow box owners can now enjoy this perfect combination of two vivid Colombian landrace strains that can ripen for harvest in a matter of 14-15 weeks from sproutingโฆ and yield fruitfully! Resistant to molds and most insect parasites, Auto Pablo Escobar has shown a strong appetite for watering. Through blooming stage, the fruity smell that Auto Pablo Escobar maternal plants produced was described as quite intense, but rather sweet than pungent. Massive fluffy colas are denser than normally expected from a pure Sativa โ the trick lies in genealogy (a small percentage of Afghani Indica heritage) along with our creative breeding.
The amazing impact that Auto Pablo Escobar has brought for you all way from Colomba is well balanced: myrcene tends to relax your mind and body, while medium THC level makes for euphoric uplifiting powers that ward off sleep and fatigue, improve your body movement awareness and help you concentrate โ if use marijuana for meditation, yoga or tsi-gong, this is just the strain that works! Like gasoline for any kind of creativity as well as dancing, outdoor timespending, romantic dates and public performances, parties, Pablo Escobar Day-Neutral induces a happy cerebral high state that lasts for solid 2.5 hours

Kirsten We have our head above ground ๐
There is nothing else to report, except that, unfortunately, my PH pen has packed up.
I will have to get another, but in the meantime, I'm using mineral water (I don't know what the PH of this is either).
Soil Mix
๐ Canna Terra 70%
๐ Perlite 30%
Dry Amendments
๐งก Ecothrive Life Cycle
๐งก Ecothrive Charge
๐งก Diatomaceous Earth
๐งก Ground Cinnamon
2.6.25:
I watered with mineral water 100ml. The soil was a bit dry.
I'm not used to this as a medium, but I was sent a free bag in error and didn't want to waste it. So fingers crossed I can pull this off.
Currently, I have other mediums in use in the tent, too, and will need to be conscious of what I'm doing. Easier said than done for me.
It would be easy for me to overwater if not paying attention to which pot it is.
Very pleased to see some signs of life ๐
Thank you for checking in and hanging out ๐โ๏ธ๐๐๐ฑ

Kirsten the plant is not looking good, as you can see. The bleaching on the leaves, I think it's light stress. If you have any ideas let me know in the comments.
I'm sure it will pull through and perk up soon. It's a little odd, but let's see what I can do.
Here's what I did this week.
11.7.25:
I watered with 1ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.6 containing the following nutrients;
๐ 1ml Ecothrive Trace
๐ 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys
PH: 6.6
PPM: 400
14.7.25;
I watered with 1L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 containing the following nutrients;
๐ 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys
PH: 6.6
PPM: 373
16.7.25:
I watered with 1L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 and the following nutrients;
๐ 1.5ml Ecothrive Trace
๐ 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys
PH: 6.5
PPM: 363
As always thanks for stopping in this week, and let me know what you think about the bleaching ๐๐โ๏ธ๐๐ค

Kirsten Well this week has gone a bit pear shaped.
I think it is a combination of light stress and the new soil I'm using. Also the soil had fungus gnats. I won't use it again but it was an experiment and I've learnt that soil isn't my substrate of choice! Back to my super coco mix! ๐
I'm going to see if I can pull it through. I've got plants through worse! Wish me luck.
I watered twice this week with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6-6.5, containing 1ml of Ecothrive Trace and 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys.
I will say that the soil is very difficult for me to judge the moisture level to water accordingly. Have I mentioned it don't like soil? ๐๐๐๐โ๏ธ
Thanks for checking out my diary this week, I'm sorry its not a better update, but wish me luck! I'm going to need it here! ๐๐โ๏ธ

Kirsten So this week, the Pablo Escobar has grown in height. The leaves are still looking a little bit light yellow, rather than green and we will see how things are going. I have moved the light away from the plant as some of my other plants were getting very tall and needed adjusting.
I have only been given the plant some Trace by Ecothrive for nutrients as the soil that I used has already been amended to provide the nutrients. The plant is still looking fairly yellow. I did not want to add any extra stress by overloading nutrients as well.
I will have to straighten out the stalk. By staking it, as it has grown leaning to one side.
This week, I watered 2 l of dechlorinated water containing ecotrive trace.
Thank you for checking out this week's diary, and hanging out in the comments ๐ ๐ ๐ฑ ๐ ๐

Kirsten Pablo Escobar. This week has been a little bit slow, but we have had some vertical growth, which is nice to see, the leaves are slowly starting to regain some colour.
This week I top dressed.
I top dressed with the following organic dry amendments;
As a base for the dry amendments I used:
๐งก Worm Castings - 3/4 Litre
๐งก Coco - 3/4 Litre
๐งก Perlite - 3/4 Litre
Dry Amendments:
๐ Ecothrive Life Cycle 1TBS
๐ Ecothrive Bloom 1 TBS
๐ Ecothrive Charge 1TBS
๐ Diatomaceous Earth 1TBS
๐ Cinnamon 1 TBS
I watered this in with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with;
๐ 1ml Ecothrive Trace.
PH: 6.5
PPM: 336.
Lets see how we get on! Thanks for checking out my diary this week ๐๐๐ค๐๐
@Hempface86, certainly nobody ever knew what we were smoking, we weren't given names except once we got Bubblegum, oh and white widow.
I definitely had some sativa, everytime I smoked this stuff I couldn't sleep, so smoked 3x the amount, unfortunately I didn't know anything at that time.
Let's see how she goes! ๐๐โ๏ธ๐ฑ
Going well, definitely a difference between this and the black opium... So we know the black opium, it does not have a lack of light... I'm going to bury mine if I re pot it...
Could it be the PH? 6.6 is high for veg and especially if in coco .. I start around 5.9 then in flower go to 6.3-6.5 ... it could be light stress but it also could be having a hard time getting nitrogen ๐คทโโ๏ธ ? That's the thing im learning now is sometimes its not us its just the plant .. I hope she pulls through ๐
@Hempface86, Yes I suppose it could be, none of my others have issues though.
I think it's this soil. I didn't use my coco mix for this one sadly. Well i learnt something useful, so I cant complain.
I am really not a fan. If you can't tell already ๐ ๐โ๏ธ๐งก
@Sour_D, That's what I think, I've had to dim the lights several times, which isn't good for the other plants, but let's see! Thank you for your thoughts, greatly appreciated ๐๐๐ค๐ฑ๐
