Hey guys! Sorry for the big delay since my previous grow! Right now I'm growing some babies from Royal Queen Seeds! Kali Dog! 😃 The first week was calm! The babies broke out from their shells rather fast and two babies grew out of their jiffy pods rather fast! Also, since the strain is Kali Dog I decided to name each of the plants with a different dog name! I'm still unsure about the names but the first two are called Roko and Max! For the first time I also noticed the first buds looked... different? You'll be able to see them in the photos tho... and once again two of my babies are suffering from helmet head 😰 But eh, I'm used to it. Gladly it's an easy error to fix. I'll try to make a longer timelapse (these were bad!) but I didn't know my camera battery wasn't enough for long sessions 😝 Anyway, thanks for reading! See you all next week! 👋

Hey guys! 😃 Sorry everyone for the late update. I had a busy week! Now, let's talk about my babies 😍 3 plants are growing normally but sadly the 5th one didn't make it (she's still in her shell and I don't think she'll sprout at this point)... also the 4th born with... issues? She was born without one of her first leaves and now she looks... weird? Like she's bent in some way or something 😵 I don't know is this is a good or a bad idea to keep feeding her (I mean, I'd rather make a clone from Max if keeping her means that I'll waste nutrients or something). Anyway, besides what I already mentioned everything is fine. Next week I'll move them to their permanent pot (at least the first 3). Thanks for reading! 😀

Hey guys! Another another update from my babies! (rather late, but better late than never!) 😬 This week was special. I wanted to make a better timelapse compared to what I did in my previous grow... but I didn't know what my DSLR could only charge thru the battery slot or with some special equipment. Shame on me! So even when I had limited resources I still managed to do something... so I hope you'll all enjoy it! 🙏 Besides of that, at the start of the week I changed 3 babies from their cups to their final containers and I think I did it properly! They didn't stress! Even when I might have done it a little late (if you see in the very first photos their roots were growing outside of the cup 😱). I'm happy! 😃 I also overwatered them while I was changing their container 😞. In the very last pictures you'll notice that some algae was growing (the green thing in the white rocks) so I gotta be more careful next time and use less water... gladly it doesn't seem to be causing troubles! 👌 About the 5th seed I used I fear she didn't make it... she's still inside her shell and it doesn't look like she'll come out 😭 4th one is now showing a lot of progress, even when she looks weird... so I still have hopes! Maybe she'll impress me at a later stage! 😍 I'll try to have the next update sooner! Thanks everyone! 😻

Hey guys! Another week and another update! At the end of this week I decided to finally start with the main lining and I won't lie... I was extremely nervous haha 😱 but I believe I did it well, without any major issue! I also decided to move the small 4th plant into a new home and it seems she will like the extra space! This week I also didn't feed my babies as I over watered them 😞 but they still showed some great progress! So I suppose it wasn't that bad! 😊 Soon I'll update the next week, which is also ready and has even more timelapses! Thanks everyone! :D

Heeey guys! Me again! This week was full of surprises and one major mistake! Hahaha. First of all, the 4th baby is now at a decent size! This was a huge surprise! She's all grown up and looks gorgeous! I'm probably going to move her to a proper pot size so she won't feel trapped! I also need to trim her again! The other 3 are advancing at a proper speed. Max is the one who has responded the best to the main-lining and LST as she seems to have barely gone thru any kind of physical damage With Roko I made a huge mistake when I tried to bend her branches 😰 I broke her stem in the middle but managed to fix it on time I hope (first with tape and then with some soft wire). It seems one of her parts are getting more nutrients compared to the other one... but there's not a lot I can do if that's the case. The 3rd baby is the one who had not suffered any kind of mayor "nutritional" problem if you compare her to her sisters (leaf colors, and some browning at the tips. The other tho has gone thru those issues but her? Nothing!) So I'm expecting a lot from this one! I also made 4 timelapses! Right now I'm also debating if I want to mainline for 8 colas or just stay at 4. My tent isn't big (80x80cm or 2.6~x2.6~) so I need to choose quickly if I want to risk it with so many plants in such small space! Anyway, that's all for now! I hope you enjoy the photos and videos! Any kind of tip would be great! Thanks everyone!

My tent is 80 x 80cm (2.6 x 2.6~) and I'm growing 4 plants. 3 are main-lined and are at 4 colas in this moment, should I go for 8 colas or stick with 4 and avoid overcrowding the tent?

Go for it and I would advice you to hang a scrog net over the plants in a few weeks to fill out the grow space even more evenly. In flowering time you have to watch out for mold because if canopy is so full aircirculation is pretty important, so Defoliation and fans are required. Good luck. ✌️🏻🌱

Hey everyone! Here's the Week 6 update! 😀 and I had some issues! Nothing too serious but still worth mentioning! I had some kind of algae growing in my medium so I stopped watering the plants for a while (I used to feed them twice a week) and I just did it once this week to wait for the plants to use more of the water inside their pots and I think it did work! I also removed most of the soil on the top to avoid spreading anything dangerous to my plants! 😭 Besides that I started doing a more aggressive LST and I also pruned some of the bigger sugar leafs 😲 My plants were also somewhat overfed (or I was close to nutrient locking them) as some of their leafs were quite dark (you'll be able to notice the difference from the color of the new leafs vs the old ones) so for the next schedules I'll just feed them once per week or feed them once then go only with pH'd water and then go back to fertilizers to avoid damaging the plant! 💀 On another note, the smallest plant has grown quite well so next week I'll be swapping her to a new por! I think she deserves it! The 3rd plant now has a name and it's "Boomer"! 😍 I also decided to go for 4 colas instead of 8 because the size available in my tent is small and I don't want risking my plants fighting for light in such a small space! 😢 Anyway, thanks everyone for reading everything so far! Take care! 👽

Heeey guys! A rather fast update this time, right? I was always 1 week late with the updates but decided to speed things up a little this time! 😋 And now, to summarize this week I'd say it was fun! 😃 While I was still unsure if I wanted to go for 8 colas or just stick with 4 (I wasn't 100% sure last week! I'm a very indecisive person!) and after taking into consideration all the pros/cons and my own skill level I decided to just stick to 4 for now. I don't want the buds to fight for light and since this is my first time doing main-lining I'm sure I might end screwing things up with 8 colas. 😗 Besides what I mentioned earlier I did a lot of trimming (had to cut the remaining branches and extra foliage!) and gave a friend some cuttings of my babies! (after all I had 8 spare ones from each plant!) I also went for a more aggressive with LST since I know I'll need more space between each in the future colas! 💪 I also moved Boomer to a new container, she was getting somewhat crowded in such a small space! (I'm so impressed she's growing so well right now!) 😍 You'll once again see two time lapses showing how my plants were growing, I hope you all will enjoy them! 😉 Probably I'll stick for one or two more weeks in veg (I want the plants to grow a bit more before going into flower) but so far most of the work is done. Thanks everyone! 😊

Heeeey all! Sorry for the extremely slow update! The past few weeks have been crazy for me! 😱 This week I made a lot of defoliation and decided to be somewhat greedy. I'll let the plants grow a bit more so they'll stretch well during flower! So while I defoliate I'll allow the plants to recover properly! 💪 Near the end of the week I also made another mistake with Roko (poor baby! 😭). I broke another of the stems (the one that divided the plant in two, right in the middle) and I feared the worst! But so far the plant kept growing without any problems. I'm still thinking a name for my 4th baby, she has surprised me greatly and I didn't notice how many new branches had grown until I defoliated her and I'm sure she'll deliver some great buds! 😍 Anyway everyone, this is all for now. Thanks for reading this journal and soon I'll update the next week! 😃

Hey agaaain! Let me start this week by saying wooooow, this was a crazy week and not because I made a mistake but rather because I had to do a lot of things to avoid unnecessary stress. Now allow me to elaborate why I tried to avoid unnecessary stress: I had to move out because the landlord where I lived sold the house (this is the main reason why I couldn't update the journals earlier 😛) and gladly I had friends who already owned an empty grow tent (4x4, I loved the size! 😍) and they allowed me to use it and bring my plants and my lights there for some days. I knew this whole experience would be stressful for my babies, but I had to do it anyway (and I'm glad I wasn't in the middle of flowering 😨). The first visit: Moving them to my friend's house was a non-issue! 👌 I fed the plants at their place (with some extra water and slightly more fertilizers) and everything was great! 😊 The second visit: After two days I visited my babies and the humidity was close to the 85%. That scared me but they also grew a lot during those days which I think was... cool? I installed a new extractor in the tent and used it to get more fresh air inside and obviously that fixed all the humidity issues I had! The plants looked great! 😍 The last visit: After some days I went to their house again and yiiiikes! Here is when the issues began! I couldn't visit earlier (thanks to the move) and the plants were super thirsty! Specially Boomer. I took them to my new house and when they were inside their tent I fed them some pHed water and then I allowed the plants to rest for some extra hours! 😱 Originally I wanted to go into flower after this week but clearly I couldn't start it immediately since the plants were clearly stressed! So I allowed them to rest for a little more! Anyway, the last photos show how the plants look after I allowed them to rest for some extra hours and after feeding them some water. Boomer will still need some more extra time to heal! Thanks everyone for reading! More updates soon! 👊

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is doing well! 👋 This week was weird! I had to deal with tons of mistakes and poor choices. The good part? It seems my mistakes weren't that huge and I'm happy my plants managed to recover properly. Originally I wanted this week to be the first one of flower but as you can tell my babies were very stressed thanks to the move (and because they were super thirsty!). I my head I still thought that this was the best moment to do it and I thought my babies would recover with the extra night time and water I was going to give them.... buuuuuuut they had other plans 😭 Boomer was still looking super thirsty after feeding her and her sisters her a full dosage of flower fertilizers and some extra pHed water (the others too, but not as bad as Boomer). During these days I was slowly giving my plants 2 more hours of sleep (so I went from 18/6 to 16/10 and then to 14/12) fur after I saw she was still not recovering I decided to give her some extra pHed go back to 18/6... I also decided to trim all the leaves in my plants a little (since I was going back to veg for the rest of the week I might as well give them the rest of the week to recover) and it seems this time it worked! Boomer and all her sisters seemed to do better 😍 but things went sour again hah. I didn't feed them too much water so they quickly started to show signs of getting dried but this time I gave my babies a full dosage of veg fertilizers and this time they finally recovered to a point I started to feel more secure again and finally I would be ready to swap them into flower (next week at least xD) During this same week Boomer was showing a slight more clear color in her leaves (but I suppose that was because she had some kind of lockout thanks to stress or maybe I wasn't giving her enough water) but now she has regained a darker green, which makes me feel happy 😃 What did I learn this week? Don't force your plants into flower unless everything is in optimal conditions. I was so set into going into flower that I completely ignored my babies after all the stress they went thru. Gladly I managed to recover (and I hope the damage I made was minor) but probably if I kept going into flower with my plants in such conditions I'm sure I would've lost a loooot! Also! I decided to call the 4th plant "Falco". 😎 And this week I couldn't record a timelapse, no room since all my babies are super big and bushy right now! Next week I'll have something! Anyway, thanks everyone for reading! See you all next week! 😉

Hey everyone! 👋 Another week and another update, and in this week I finally flipped my babies! (and it wasn't a failed attempt) 😍 They are now in the 12/12 cycle and I must say last week's recovery was crucial to finally do it! Besides of all that this week was quite uneventful compared to the other ones (which I suppose is a good thing! 😝) The only things worth mentioning besides what I already wrote is that I overfed my babies (double dosage) but it seems they took them well and that Boomer and her sisters (specially Boomer) get thirsty really fast compared to before... which means I need to water them more frequently which isn't terrible. I also finally have some new time lapses 😊 I hope you all enjoy them! Thanks for reading! 🙌

Another fast update! 😃 Hey guys! I hope everything is going well for everyone. This is the 2nd week of flower and I'm here again to share what happened last week! My babies now get thirsty really easy, nothing like how it used to be (and you can actually see them stressing over it in my photos) but gladly nothing that some water can't fix. The main colas are also starting to grow more and they are full of small developing flowers (they look super pretty! 😍) Some side stems are also outgrowing the main branches... and I'm kinda unsure what I want to do (or if I should do anything). Maybe LST or supercrop them? (I might screw things up by doing it in flower and I have never done it before 😭) I don't know. I also want to trim some leaves away since the foliage is very dense but I fear I might end stressing them! I will probably make a grow question to know what others think. I'm back on a normal nutrient schedule. I'm no longer "overfeeding" them and I water them 4 times a week (but with little water). Next week I'll try doing 3 but with more water and see if they like it more that way. So far I love how the plants are developing! The small flowers look great and they look bigger everyday! 😃 Thanks everyone! See you all next week! 👋

My plants have a dense foliage and some branches are outgrowing the main colas. I've been tucking the fan leaves around and I tried to gently push the branches to the sides but I think that might not be enough. What can I do to fix both things without stressing them too much? 😵

Hi @BigBadLion! Nice plants in here! I also went through this kind of issue, and ended up putting a scrog-net above my canopy, in order to open up everything and increase light penetration. However this will work only if you have enough space left. That being said, from my experience with RQS, their strains seem really strong, I do believe you can remove most of the leaves without stressing the plants too much, that's what I did with my last OGKush run, because I had no other choice buds were hidden in shades, this didn't stop the plant from building big dense colas. Hope this will help, keep us updated and happy growing! 👊

Hey guys! Here's the 3rd week of flower! 😻 This week I trimmed my babies (just a little, about 8 leaves or less each plant). Some leaves were healthy but were blocking a lot of light from the flowers and tucking them wasn't doing the job anymore. Besides that Boomer stretched out a lot (which also worried me as I didn't want my babies to go wild on me. I LSTed some of them hoping that would fix the issue). Where I live has been getting somewhat cold at night and I fear that might be doing something to my babies (I hope to be wrong). Besides that the flowers are getting bigger everyday and some are even starting to show some trichomes (I think looks cute!). The pistils are also getting bigger and the smell is stronger now (it was already strong). Near the end of the week I saw Falco's leaves were getting yellow and I suspect it is nitrogen deficiency... and what's causing it is probably some residues at the end of the pot (so I might need to flush her) or maybe I just need to feed her more nutes). Keep in mind she used to be quite small during veg and only in the end she grew enough to be transplanted to a bigger pot. Maybe she's just special? This week you'll see less timelapses compared to last week... I forgot to take photos for about 3 days 😅 but at least there are some! I hope you'll enjoy what I'm sharing! Thanks for reading! 👋

Hey all! 👋 Remember last week when I said Falco was getting some chlorosis? Well, the first photos show how bad it is (or was) but the plant is "old", she was quite special as a young plant and her main leaves are doing well so I suppose what is happening is just something normal or maybe some other weird factor... might be affecting her, but more probably I'm just way too worried. In my confusion I added 2ml of Green Grow (which is the growing fertilizer I previously used) thinking that she needed the extra nitrogen but in the end it seems it was unnecessary (as it's a normal process of the plant), I just removed the old leaves and left her to be. 😝 Besides what I previously said I saw a lot of bud progress this week (and I tried to picture all that! 😋). There are plenty photos of the same flower (most of the times!) showing how trichomes were constantly appearing during this week. Next week I'll be adding some extra Potassium and Phosphorus and I hope those products will help my babies to get bigger buds! I also made a video at the end of the week to show how my plants look at a normal speed plus two time-lapses. There are also some photos I took with my DSLR and an inverse ring just to see how the plant would look... and I think they look amazing! 😍 Anyway, I hope you all like the photos and thanks for reading! 👋

Hey people! I hope everyone is doing well! 👋 Here's the 15th week of my babies or the 4th of flower. All of them have been developing some really nice buds and trichomes keep appearing or getting bitter (or that's what it seems from all the photos I've taken!) 😃 This week I started giving my babies more potassium and phosphorus! I hope those products will help to get even bigger buds! At first tho I was a little worried because I thought I could end overfeeding and then nutrient locking my babies (the ppm of the water after I used all my nutrients was at 1400 and the vendor says I should be safe as long as I'm bellow 2200 ppm, which I was) from all the NP I would be giving them (which would've been awful) but everything went well! Leaves look healthy (a little more yellow, but I suppose that's normal!) 😍 My only problem this week has been Falco's chlorosis... it has also gotten worse (you'll see in the photos) 😢 and I decided to cut some of them to see if that helps (I assume those leaves are making her waste energies). Hopefully she'll be fine! I also made a small mistake in the week. For a second I thought one of my plants turned herm because she had developed a "sack". I later found out I was wrong and it was only a swollen calyx which made me relax a lot haha (I'm still such a noob 😱😂)... and that's all what happened this week. It was quite calm I believe! Right now I'm debating if I should remove all the small flowers/leaves at the bottom of the plant or just let them be (I don't want to over stress my babies x_x). I don't want them wasting energies in flowers that won't be as good as the others! Maybe I'll make a grow question out of this. Thanks all for reading! I hope you all like the photos I took with my DSLR and the timelapses! 😊

Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay! This week I raised the amount of phosphorus and potassium! And yikes! I went suuuuuuper high by mistake! I gave them (after pH and TDS checks) a total of 1968 ppm which I believe was just way too much for my babies 😬 gladly they barely showed some nutrient burn. With the exception of Boomer and Falcho, which both plants are still showing some chlorosis (better than last week tho) and I believe it's probably because of some sort of nutrient lock out or maybe the plant is just getting too old! You'll see from the photos how the plants developed after overfeeding them. They didn't wither 😱 or anything (and only some few leaves started to show some signs of nutrient burn) so I'm happy so far. I'll be more careful next week about this! Besides that big mistake everything went well. I kept removing dry/yellow leaves and taking care of my babies 👌 Thanks everyone for reading!

Hey guys! 👏 Hope everyone is doing well! This week was interesting. I made a small flush because I wanted to know how much salt my plants had in the soil (considering I've fed my plants with a lot of nutrients the past few weeks) aaaaand the results were quite interesting! They obviously had tons of salts! Here are the results of the runoff water: Falco 5.94 pH 1139 ppm (2278 us/m) Max 5.85 pH 2352 ppm (4704 us/m) Roko 5.64 pH 2453 ppm (4906 us/m) Boomer 5.72 pH 1765 ppm (3530 us/m) Surprisingly enough the plants that had the "worst" runoff values were the plants who had the most foliage and their leaves were the greenest. The pH "loss" of all the plants was also within the expected margin so that's good! 👌 The buds look beautiful and I also noticed some of the plant leaves are starting to turn purple 😍 the smell is also getting stronger and it's quite citric, I love it! Anyway, that's all for now. Thanks for reading! 🙌

Heeey all! Sorry for the huge amount of photos but this week was crazy. So many things happened and my lack of knowledge clearly showed up. I ended stressing one of my plants for no reason! 😱 At the start of the week everything was normal until I noticed that one of Roko's buds looked weird. It seemed to be too dry and orange for my tastes and I didn't know what it was. Obviously I started to ask around and I got so many mixed messages haha. Some people said it was nothing and I should not worry about it and others said they were 100% sure it was botrytis or budrot... aaaaaaaand I got paranoid lol. 😵😨 At first I tried to keep calm and ignore it for one day but the next one the bud looked even worse and that's when I feared the worst. What if it's really budrot? In general the values I write in here are approximates or an average of the week.. and usually my tent never goes over 60% of RH (in the dark it stays between 50% to 60% when I water them and on some rare occasions it reaches 65%). This time, after I checked the thermometer it said "75% of RH" but I did not know if it was during their sleep time or maybe some time after the lights went on) so once again I feared the worst! What if the plants stayed all the night with that amount of RH? Was that enough time for them to develop budrot? What if it's still nothing? Yikes. 😭 I had to do something and I did, I wasn't going to risk everything! I started removing the worst looking leaf to see if there was anything mushy or ugly between it and the pistils but I didn't see anything (maybe I was safe and that was something else? Or maybe the budrot was even deeper and I could not see it?) After reading I realized that the best idea was to cut the bud in half and then slice it to "see" if there was anything inside... so I did it and absolutely nothing showed up 😖! Those were good news! Sadly tho the poor plant had to go thru some stress after cutting that bud in half (at least from what I saw the insides were tightly packed and the photos showed some really cool stuff) The rest of the week was uneventful (compared to what I feared haha) and some leaves started to change even more in color (I love it). I think I'll start with the flush next week or the one after that one. There are some amber trichomes...! Thanks all for checking my diary! Hopefully you'll all find the pictures interesting! PD: None of the plants have seeds in them, even when one of the sliced buds seemed to be making them!

I'd like to know what happened to my plant but I'm unsure how to properly describe it. The photos in my diary should be able to make it more clean (W18). Maybe it was botrytis but I caught it on time? Or maybe something else? The trichomes got dark orange where all this happened!

Ive seen similar things in my grow normally where I've cut a stem out last off and left a bit of cut a bit off to test smoke. Sometimes you get them around the lower buds or smaller ones that have been attached to a bigger bud above them if you know what I mean. I guess it could be down to air flow or heat? Or lack of fresh air or co2? Or just stress or damaged plants?

Hey guys! Another update! 😃 This week is going to be the last one that I feed the plants and after that I'm going to just flush them for just one week. I took photos during the middle of the week just to see how trichomes were developing and there are more ambar! I want the top colas to be about 50% ambar and 50% cloudy while the ones below 30% ambar and 70% cloudy and I think I'll be able to reach that with ease. Besides that this week was relaxing, no big issues! And I've been removing more fan leaves so when the right moment arrive it'll be easier to clean the plant! And that way I can get some extra development in lower colas. The smell is strong now compared to other weeks (it's been getting stronger every week!) 😲 PD: The question is still up! In case anyone knows what could've happened 😱 Thanks for reading! 👋

Heeeere we go! Sorry for the late update! This is when I start the flush! I believe the plants are pretty much ready at this point and doing this will just improve the final product! Doing this took me a good chunk of time, mostly because I didn't know exactly how much of water I was going to need (it was a loooot 😫) and how hard/tiring it was to pH it as well. In the end my calculations were off, as I needed far more water than what I had (lol) so I didn't manage to do a full flush... but I still managed to lower the amount of salts and residues to a "decent" level (around 850 to 1500 ppm). I also used flawless finish so I suppose than even when I didn't use enough water that solution alone was enough to help! Besides that the rest of the week was quite calm and relaxing. Thanks everyone for reading! 😍

Heeeey guys! 👋 Sorry for the very late update! I had so many things going on but now I can finally update the diary! This is the last week before harvest and I kept an eye on my plants pretty much all the time! When I started to notice more amber trichomes were appearing I knew that my babies were finally ready! I just wanted a small amount of CBN, so probably I reached a good balance! Besides that I believe everything was quite relaxing and simple this week. Their smell was wonderful! I also trimmed by babies almost everyday, I kept removing the most ugly leaves to allow some of the lower buds to develop a little more this final week! I stopped watering them 4 days before harvest and then I gave them one day of total darkness. I hope you all enjoy the videos and photos! Thanks!

Hey everyone! Sorry for the late update! It took me a little longer than what I was expecting but that's because I wanted to it as soon as the buds were cured. Oh boy, where do I start. I made a lot of mistakes this grow. One of the most important ones were that I didn't check/control the light as much as I should have during vegetation aaaaand I believe I stunned the plants because of that, the internodes were too tightly packed. The next time I need to control that, I need to lower the power of the lights and let them grow more! Another issue I had was that I had to move and that delayed the harvest by lot, which is a shame. During flower I didn't have a lot of issues besides what happened at the week 18. I don't know what happened but at least I can say it wasn't budrot. Maybe those buds received too much light? Or something else? No idea! Now, how much did I get from each plant? Wet "trimmed": Falco: 330gr Max: 296gr Roko: 283gr Boomer: 336gr* Dry: Falco: 65.26gr Max: 63.68gr Roko: 57.29gr Boomer: 68.30gr Which seems to be a quite decent number for each plant. I got about 1.04 gram/watt in total or .26 gram/watt per plant and this one was my second harvest! Roko was the plant that gave the least amount of dry buds but at the same time she was the one that I broke during the main-lining... so that obviously affected her in some way! Thanks to that I know my limits as well and what I should do in the future to avoid stuff like this happening again. This time I don't have tons macro photos because I lost my reverse ring 😫😭 but if I find it I'll update this with new photos! Soon I'll start my next grow and thanks everyone for following me all this time! Good smokes! 🙌 UPDATE: I added new photos, I found the reverse ring! I hope you'll all enjoy them! :D
