DannywithaJ Logging starts from flowering week 6, so if deficiencies or problems arise, there’s a record to understand what might have happened. Both plants are automatics; I still transplanted them from 7 to 19 liters. Both plants were topped several times during the growth phase. They switched to flowering around May 26, so I started counting the flowering weeks from that week. So far, there haven't been any major noteworthy deficiencies or abnormalities. However, I do notice some differences on the White Widow automatic in certain areas that I will document more closely in the coming days.

What can I do to manage the temperature, which sometimes reaches 30 degrees? I have a dehumidifier in there to keep the humidity below 60%, but it generates heat in the tent. 150 watts, so I turned it down to 50-75%. What else can I do?

Hello :) You could increase your fans and the intake and exhaust for the duration in your tent to ensure better circulation. Or, depending on the size of the tent, use car dehumidifier bags instead of the electric dehumidifier. They come in various sizes and are reusable. Best regards

If I hang the lamp higher in the heat and set it to about 40-50% at 150 watts, am I doing my plant a favor or is it harming her since she won't get enough light? If I don't dim it, it will be 30-31 degrees in the tent. No cooling options.

I would personally take on a bit more heat and try to hit the DLI. Here's an article on DLI (I use their free app with a piece of printer paper over my camera to act as a diffuser, as instructed in the app, to measure DLI): https://growlightmeter.com/autoflowering-cannabis-lighting/ Try to play with the light intensity and light distance to your plant to get the best DLI / temp balance you can. In future grows you could also consider dropping PPFD and run the light 20 hours to hit the same DLI (I wouldn't change light hours for this grow because you're so close to the end), but here's a calculator to help: https://www.waveformlighting.com/horticulture/daily-light-integral-dli-calculator However, I would also try to mitigate the heat impact for this grow by making sure I have some fans moving air (not the plants if possible, but rather the air in the tent) and be careful about watering. If your humidity drops as temperature rises you could place a bucket of water in the tent (assuming there's enough room) and point a fan at it, the evaporating water will cool the tent slightly, but also increase humidity, so be careful with this if you try it, you don't want bud rot. If you can stay at or below 30 it would be ideal, this article talks a bit about that: growdiaries.com/journal/understanding-the-impact-of-heat-stress-on-cannabis-plants-a-crucial-challenge-for-growers But I grow in the heat outdoors, so I do grow in 32+ degrees and the plants can tolerate it, growth slows, but I would still favor light over heat, at least to 33. Looks like you'll have a solid harvest either way, congratulations, hope you enjoy it!

DannywithaJ With the start of the seventh week of flowering, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that despite the heat, the temperature stays down. PPFD at 800 nanomol. I'm trying to keep the VPD somehow at 25-26 degrees and 45-50% humidity. I can't raise the lamp any higher from 800 nanomol to 1000, otherwise the temperature goes too high and unfortunately, I don't have an air conditioner. I raised the distance to the plant by another 10cm to counteract light stress. I'm grateful for the tips I've received so far, even though I've only been here for 3 days.

Checked the trichomes under the microscope. The Super Skunk should be ready by Saturday if I follow the 49 flowering days. What do you think? Can I start the dark phase now or should I wait a bit longer? Main thing is milky, I don't need a sedative effect. Thanks!

DannywithaJ I checked the trichomes under the microscope again at the end of week 13 and found the plant to be ready. I was able to get a lot of advice here and I'm feeling good that everything will turn out well. The light is off and being taken down, and the tent is being prepared for the drying phase. I'm leaving the plants in the dark for another 2 or 3 days before I start harvesting. The plants are showing deficiencies since I've been flushing for a week now. So far, I'm satisfied with the results and I have to honestly say: White Label has not disappointed me at all. Every seed germinated. Every plant was strong and even forgave me for a mistake or two without falling apart. I'm more than happy with my choice of seeds and hope to wrap up the harvest well in a couple of days.

To be honest. When would you prefer a Wet-Trim and when a Dry-Trim? Of course, I would like to catch some trichomes during the harvest, but I focus more on ensuring that my two plants can dry peacefully and evenly. Any tips? Cheers!

Hey 👋 I personally prefer wet trimming. Since I grow outdoors and can't dry in a box under controlled conditions, I'm on the safer side regarding mold formation. However, it is said to have some taste drawbacks - but I can't confirm that, it tastes good. Just saying. So if you have the ability to control the environment precisely - try dry trimming. If you can't - stick to the safe side with wet trimming. Hope it helps 👊🖖🍀

Tolle Pflanze.

DannywithaJ Last step before trying. Just a little more patience. I took a picture before hanging them up because they looked so nice and then separated a few small shoots, throwing away the ones that were right at the bottom of the plant. After that, I hung them up and I'm curious about what will come out in the end. Dry, crumbly buds or something nice? Unfortunately, I can't influence the temperature, but I'm excited about how stable and controllable the values in the tent have been so far. I feel like without 38L of substrate, there's much less humidity in the tent and my dehumidifier doesn't have to kick on as often or for as long. Because of that, I have between 23 and 27 degrees in the tent depending on the time of day, weather, and the operating times of the dehumidifier. I consistently maintain 60% and try to keep that value, gradually lowering it to 45% after a few days.

Starke Pflanze Stolzer Ertrag.

DannywithaJ End of the journey, I can hardly wait to taste. The effort was worth it, I really didn't see the extreme smell coming at the end of the flowering phase. Crazy. Now just drying, and then into the airtight containers, it stinks here ;)

Your attention to detail and the precise adjustment of light and climate parameters are truly impressive! 🌱 Increasing the distance to the lamp by 10 cm to minimize light stress was a smart decision. Also, the consistent control of VPD (25-26°C, 45-50% humidity) shows that you really understand the needs of the plants.
