420_observer This one is starting to gain Have started feeding her, lightly I figure another week or so, then her growth spurt will start kicking in Otherwise she's doing well

420_observer Still haven't decided which direction I'm going to grow this one. But I did go ahead and top it a couple of days ago. I'm in no hurry so I'll probably let this one veg a while. She is gaining speed, growth rate is increasing, leaves are getting bigger. Her leaf/branch nodes are really close together. So I may try topping the top two nodes and make a cannabis shrub. Don't know yet, but I'll have to decide soon 👽

420_observer Made a lot of progress this week. Got the last two toppings cut and the plant has recovered. I'm fairly certain I'll stop here at 8. I'll leave the hooks set where they are and start using string taped to the edge. The plan being to train each stalk node to remain flat and then turn upward at the edge of the bucket. Overall, training the plant is going fine.

420_observer Catching up, posting a lot of photos. This is one of two plants saved from the flood. Weekly comments will be a little sparse. Until I'm caught up.

420_observer Pretty sure I've missed a couple of splits. Meaning the stalk is stronger and thicker on one side, rather than being split equally between the two. Still moving forward of course. Overall still looking good and going strong. Branches were close enough to the edge of the bucket to start using string.

420_observer Starting to look like something now :-) A few branches are a little weak, but the overall plant is coming together and looking pretty good to my eyes.

420_observer I put the plant into 48 hours of darkness to kick start the flowering. I was amazed by how much the plant grew in the black. Afterwards I put the light schedule on 12/12 and noticed the plant's growth rate really picking up it's pace. There is an inner circle of branches complimenting the outer circle from the stalk. They look REALLY good and cause visions of a bumper crop. But I've learned, they won't make it. Once I cut the strings, they all will point inward rather than upward. Which causes an airflow issue for the rest of the plant, and in turn, contributes to a mold issue for the flowers growing in that center space. Once I rebuild the losses from the flood, I intend to get a large wire grid to replace the need for using string. Using the string as a method to tie down causes tension and the plant will react by putting its focus on strengthening the stalk. You'll end up with a really cool looking plant, but the flowers produced will be thin and see thru. All of the plants resources went to the stalk rather than the flower. So I will cut the strings and set Pinocchio free 😝

420_observer Growth spurt is really kicking in She's getting really big and needs a haircut soon 😱 Still have a few more weeks to post, to catch up from the flood event Will get those up as quickly as possible 👍

420_observer With the strings off she's really moving inwards But still growing taller by the day I've cut off a couple of the branches that had split off from the main line They were tiny and weren't going to produce anything of substance This is another quick post to catch up

420_observer She's really starting to show some flower power now 😝 And to be honest I was not expecting her to get this tall this early I went ahead and thinned out another missed split It was a tiny branch, now I'm down to 13 total and I thinking about taking one more too 7 are the tallest

420_observer She's the tallest girl now with no sign of slowing down either Lot's flower nodes, a lot 😝 I did take one more branch off - down to 12 total now The rest are keepers with 7 taller than the others basically just going thru the grind water feed water feed water yada yada yada room smells good though 😜

420_observer She is really taken shape this week All of the surviving branches are filling out nicely Hairs on the flowers are getting longer Aroma is getting stronger too I smile everytime I enter the room 😛

420_observer oh yeah, everyday my smile just gets bigger 😁 just going thru the grind water and feed rotating the bucket every other day at this point it's all about pampering her making sure she doesn't want or need for anything oh yeah, i'm all caught up now next post will be real time 👈

420_observer I got a little overzealous with the nutrients, the leaf tips are burnt She's been on water only and a lot of it this past week It's not bad, I caught it in time - before any real damage could happen According to the write up on Gorilla Glue, she should be in the final stages But I'm still hoping for a little more growth, as always 😝 I'd like to see of those gaps fill in a little better Regardless, she looks to me

420_observer Fed her a mild solution of base nutrients but otherwise it's been water only. More leaf tips than I care to admit got burnt last week. There's no new damage. What's green is emerald green. What's burnt is now dead and brown. Pretty much believe I hit nutrient lockout and got lucky with the recovery. As of today, I've started seeing orange hairs and a few milky trichomes. So I'll be checking her a more often this week. Almost done 😝

420_observer Still not done. But she's only a day or two away from being finished. Lots of red hairs and most of the trichomes are milky white. She's been on water only all week. The amount of new growth is still surprising. All the little nuggies are getting fatter 😝 I expected to be taking her down over the next 2 or 3 days.

420_observer Ended up being a large plant with high yield. I am glad I have a reference here on GrowDiaries because I will be growing this again. 😝 I want to do a better job at getting an even split when topping. This grow got a little lopsided and four branches didn't make it to full size. Still a good grow overall 👍
