Mantis Added a little more soil to the solo cup on day 7 since it was stretching a little and watered for first time since sprouting. Water with distilled water until run off Week 2 day 8 Plant is doing great and second set is growing After another inch or 2 of growth will be adding to the grow tent under the led. Right now under a small high output fluorescent Day 9. Happy 420 Day 10. Happy easter Day 11 3rd set showing. Growing strong. Probably a little slow just being under the fluorescent light but I figure to keep them there a bit longer Soil is dry on top but a little damp right below so will wait until morning to water Day 12. Watered in the morning. Distilled water Day 13. Looking good Day 14. Transfered to the grow tent under led Led in veg mode but will turn on bloom and veg soon just want them to acclimated to new atmosphere and lighting first

Mantis Day 15. Been under the led for full day Growing strong but getting a little droopy. Going to transplant into 5 gal fabric pot in the morning of day 16 and water In tent under led now so more temp fluctuation then before. 70 lights on and 61 lowest lights off. Day 16. Transplanted in 5 gal fabric grow bags. With fox farm ocean forest and watered. I dampen the soil first while filling the grow bags Day 20 Watered until run off I put a water filter at end of my hose from hose bib. I have town water and want to make sure I have no chlorine or anything getting in. Eventually will install a RO system but for now hopefully this will be fine. I heat some water and mix it in with the hose water before I pour so it’s not too cold Total newb but I do grow veggies so hopefully I don’t mess this grow up

Mantis Day 22. Growing nice and strong. Will maybe top at the 3rd node this weekend as long as the shoots grow out a decent amount by then. Then I will begin the mainline (manifold) process No nutes yet just letting it take up the nutrients in the fox farm ocean forest soil Day 23 Seem to be growing a bit quicker then previous weeks. Day 24. Decided not to top yet want to see a little More growth first and may clone the tops so want to leave a little extra stem Day 26. Happy birthday bro Day 27. Planned to top today but got home late from work so hope to top tomorrow if I get home at a decent time

Mantis Day 29. Topped at the third node Day 31. Healthy after topping. Will pull the new growth down when it grows out a bit more Day 32. Topped again at first nodes of new growth Day 33. Not much going on yet Day 34. Still not much going on. Only a little growth Day 35. A little more growth noticeable thankfully. It’s my first grow so I don’t have experience with other pots but these fabric pots seem to be amazing for me. I’ve onoy needed to water about once a week so far although I’m sure that will change very soon

Mantis Week 6. Day 36. Growing strong still, hopefully a couple more days to do the 3rd set of tops Day 37. Watered this afternoon with distilled water until run off. I’ll give nutes again next watering. Growth is still good. Day 38. Day 39. Growing good. Humidity is way high. 68-79 percent night/day. Due to crazy humidity and temps outside and I’m growing in the garage. The good part is the garage stay 61-65 degrees even if it’s 100 outside. Not too concerned I have good airflow at all times and it will drop soon. Will definitely need a dehumidifier in the garage once I start to flower though which I’m hoping is very soon Day 41. Lots of growth going on. I can top the 3rd time but going to wait another day or two. 14 hour work days leave me to exhausted to come home and start messing with the plants Day 42. Last day of week six Did final topping for 8 nodes. Not too happy with the look of the leaves and not sure if there’s an issue or just because they are not fully grown out. Hopefully everything is ok. The other plants I’m growing looks better though then this one

Mantis Day 43. Week 7. Last week then flower. Atleast that’s the plan. Gonna have to get me a dehumidifier I think , levels stay around 60-65 which I’ve read is high for flower. Day 45. Watered until run off with a little bit of nutrients. Planning to switch to 12/12 in one week but if I don’t purchase a dehumidifier by then I may wait. Want to be below 60% in flower so I don’t run in to any problems Day 46. Growing nice and healthy. All node sights look good. Leaving the tent open for the time. Temps staying around 72-75 even with my garage door open and it’s 85 degrees outside Humidity now around 56-58% with tent door open. Until I get the dehumidifier Day 47. Not much to report. A little low stress training daily and she’s growing fine Day 48. Starting to grow a bit faster now I’ve turned the bloom lights on now Akon with the veg and made the airflow a bit stronger. This keeps my humidity atleast in the 60-65 range for now Day 49. Some low stress training. Just a little bending of the stems

Mantis Day 50. Bushing out nicely. Looking healthy. Plan to start 12/12 starting week 9 Day 52. Looking very good Installed a humidifier outside the grow tent My temps increased to 79 with lights on which I’m happy with and humidiity at 52% Now I’ll be ready for flower. Day 53. Watered today using only cal mag and b52. Tents staying at 52% humidity. Rose to 60 after watering then dropped right back down Day 55. Lollipopped most of the leaves. Leaving some of the smaller ones. Going to wait atleast 3 more days to switch to flower. I want to say a bit more growth otherwise I may wait a little longer Day 56. Last day of week 8. Going to switch to flower probably a couple days into week 9. Been very happy with this strain wedding cake s1. I’m also growing 1 more wedding cake s1 A jack herer And a Bruce banger So far all are growing strong

Mantis Day 57. Still in veg. Going to switch to 12/12 tomorrow after watering and feeding some nutes then changing the timer. Day 59. First day of flower officially She’s about 24 inches from the light I’ll let it get to about 18-20 inches from light before raising I think Watered with nutes today Day 60. Looking healthy still not much to going on yet Day 61. Pistols seem to Ben growing out a bit. Still looking healthy. Can’t believe how fast they are growing once switched to flower , they have stretched atleast a few inches Day 62 flower day 4. Growing great and still looking healthy. She’s 19 inches tall now. I keep having to raise my temp/humidity meter because she’s keeps stretching and blocking it. Very pleased with the grow so far Day 63 flower day 5 Still stretching and growing

Mantis day 64 f6 Looking good still. Gonna water with nutes tomorrow. Still watering once a week but I do notice soil is a little dryer then it was in veg so may be switching to twice a week soon enough. I’ve been underfeeding the nutes every feeding but I think this time I’ll give more since in flower a week now. Worried about over feeding as I’ve never done this before so don’t know how much will be too much and don’t want to risk it Day 65 f7 Watered today with nutes. Still keeping it a good bit lower then the nutrients tell me to add. I’m sure I could add the dosage it recommends but rather go alittle light then heavy Lollipopped a good bit as well leaving some fan leaves here and there. Now I have much more light hitting all the bud sites that will hopefully grow big and dense Day 67. Looking good as far as I can tell Day 68 f10. Gonna have to water tomorrow she’s sucking it up much quicker now. Seeing more pistol production which is good Day 69 f11 Watered today with nutes. Looking healthy and strong still. Buds are forming more noticeably. Still stretching which is no issue I have about 2 feet of space left to raise light if needed. Day 70. F12. Looking good still

Mantis Thank you all who visit and comment. Day 71 f13 1 more day and full two weeks of flower will be done. Not sure if the bud sights should be bigger then what they are now. They seem small to me. I am using a viparspectra 600 light in a 3x3 so I’m honestly not expecting that great of a harvest but for my first few times growing I’ll be satisfied. Day 72 f14 Final day of week 2. Buds sites are looking good. I’ll wait towards the end of the 3rd week of flower to lollipop again and I think that will be the last time for trimming Day 73 f15 06/23/19 Buds seems to be forming up pretty nice towards the outer edges of tent I notice they are struggling a little bit. Next grow I think I may invest in a better grow light like a kind or California light works or something. Day 74 f16 Starting to see a little bit of tichome production already. Everything looking good still. Watered today with very little nutes since I watered with nutes the last 2 times Next water I’ll start my way getting close to the advanced nutrients recommendations for bud production, I’m sure she will be sucking up the nutrients no problem Day 75 f17 Looking good. Buds are started to fatten up a bit. Look closely enough and some trichome production can be seen. Also I defoliated a lot of the top leaves. Can cut a few of the growth off where the buds were not going to get any light. A bit tight with 4 plants in a 3x3 but with the right training it’s not half bad at all. Watering can suck now that the trellis net is up and I can’t move them much but it’s doable so can’t complain All in all I think she and all the other plants are doing pretty good Day 76 f18 06/26/19 I think the stretching phase is about over. Bud are starting to show some good growth. Can’t complain so far Day 77 f19 Buds growing. Frost being produced. Couldn’t ask for me Day 78 f20 06/28/19 Diary will be a little off with days. Keeping this in week 3 of flower because I switched over a couple days into week 9 Still growing strong and pretty

Mantis Week 4 day 22 of flower Watered yesterday with nutrients. Stretching seems to have stopped thankfully and now she will hopefully fatten those bugs up. Nice to see some trichome production already not sure if viewable really in pics Day 23 flower Looking still after watering and nutrients. Was worried about nute burn since I upped the dosage to a little over 3/4 of full strength Love seeing the trichomes but want them to fatten up im impatient haha Day 82 flower day 25 Not much to report. Still looking good hopefully buds start fattening up soon. Trichome production is great Day 84 f27 Watered today. Flushed some of the salts out by water with plain water until run off two times Then added about 1/2 dosage of nutrients until next watering which will be most likely a full dosage of nutes Buds showing some growth and still looking pretty healthy. Hope these buds start fattening up more Day 85 f28 Still looking healthy after the flush and then watering with small amounts of nutes. Very happy with all my strains so far. Bruce banger is definately the fattest and most trichome covered out of the rest but I love how the wedding cake is budding out as well

Mantis Day 86 flower day 29 Looking good still. Buds are starting to fatten up just a little bit. Trichome are looking great. It’s honestly Just a joy to watch these grow Day 87 About half way through flowering now. Buds are starting to more noticeably fatten up. The smell is amazing. No complaints Day 90 flower day 33 Watered today with just plain distilled water Day 91 flower day 34 Looking ok still. Hope these buds fatten up they don’t look like they want to very much. We will see

Mantis Flower day 36 Buds look like they are getting a little bit bigger. Gonna go less with the nitrogen next feeding by using less grow and micro. And go a little heavier on the bloom. Also adding over drive for a little extra pk. And he usual cal mag Day 95 Day 38 flower. 07/16/19 Watered today with nutrients. Watered to runoff then dumped before watering with nutes Whent lite on the nitrogen and heavier on the potassium and phosphorus hopefully it will help fatten these buds up

Mantis Flower day 43. Week 7 day 1 Watered today with plain distilled water Looking good. Buds seem to be fattening more. Gonna skip using the grow and micro next feeding and just use the bloom and overdrive and cal mag. I think that may be my last feeding until flush but we will see. Suppose to be a 63 day strain Day 101 f44 Nothing to report today. I’ll be checking trichomes at end of this week to see if I should start flushing soon or not Day 103 f46 Not much change. Buds may have fattened a tiny bit more. Pretty sure up until recently I’ve been running a. But too heavy on nitrogen during flower. Next watering I’ll add a touch of pk and no nitro. Since after that I will most likely be flushing depending on trichomes Day 104 f47 Watered today with small amount of nutes Only bloom 4ml per gallon Overdrive 4 ml per gallon Cal/mag 1ml per gallon She is looking good and healthy still. Not a lot of change going on and trichomes are basically 90% clear still

Mantis Day 107. Flower day 50 About 2 more weeks left. Maybe more consider most of my trichomes are still clear right now. Seems to still be growing those buds out a little bit at a time Day 109 f52 Watered today with plain distilled water. Only 1 gallon which allows just a touch of run off. A little nute burn at the very tips of leaves which isn’t bad but rather it just use up the nutrients left in the soil. Day 110 f53 Gonna start flush at the end of the week I think Looked a bit closer at all the nugs . Ide say 80% cloudy , 17% clear ,3%amber. Gonna wait until I see a bit more cloudy with very minimal clear , or no clear at all if that’s possible without too high of amber Not going to be as much weight as I wanted but for my first grow I’m happy On a side note the Bruce banger is much bigger and denser then both wedding cakes and the jack herer. But I think the jack herer Will most likely get chopped last, buds are still fattening and about 80% clear trichomes still on the jack herer

Mantis Day 114 flower day 57 Watered yesterday with just plain distilled water. Starting flush phase now. Trichomes are looking great. Mostly cloudy. Few amber and little clear. Should be harvesting at the end of the week 😎 Day 115 f58 So it almost looks like a little more frost and a little thicker bud formation. I started flush 2 days ago so alittle surprised at that. Trichomes are where I want them to be so I’ll be sticking with flush until harvest towards end of week. I figure a one week flush is enough no need for two weeks of flush Day 117 f60. 08/07/19 Watered today for flush 150-200 ppm so I’m good on flushing. This is the last watering that way they won’t be too wet when I harvest in a few days. Getting excited but not getting my hopes up on weight. Very very pleased on trichome production , not on just the wedding cake but the others as well Day 119 flower day 62 .08/09/19 Today , got a few hours of light then shut off for 24 hours of darkness Will be cutting down to dry tomorrow evening 😃 Day 120 flower day 63 08/10/19 Harvest day. She has been cut down and hung for drying. Working on setting the dehumidifier to get it at about a constant 55 percent I’m awful at at describing odors. So to me she smells like a freshly cut cannabis plant with a bit of fruity ness Will post again in about a week with final trim and harvest weights once fully dry. Then going to cure no less then 3 weeks but Offourse I’ll dip into it a bit throughout haha

Mantis The strain grew very well. I’m sure if I get a better light it will grow much better but overall I’m very pleased with the results and the high is very good. No issues with pests or mildew. Kept humidity at low 60s during veg and mid to low 50s in flower. Thank you everyone who’s watched and or liked or even passed through. I know this diary is of the one strain but just wanted to post final weight on all plant Wedding cake. 33 grams Wedding cake 20 grams Jack herer. 24 grams Bruce banger. 55 grams 132 total grams. Not too shabby I guess Update update So after curing for a month the smell and taste are much more defined and wow is it great. Has a sweet kind of peppery smell and taste , unlike any other strain I’ve had. I will say after growing my own I don’t think I have ever had properly cured cannabis before until now The high is great. Can definately tell it’s a higher thc strain. At first it’s fairly euphoric head high, that last about 20-30 minutes. Then the relaxing hard to keep your eyes open hits you which is wonderful as well. Definately a smoke at night and make sure theirs a bed or couch nearby kind of strain
