First time Coco - Dinafem XXL

Amikaro After a couple successfull soil harvests, I'm trying Coco as a medium. Let's see how it goes. Definitely more care high-maintenance. The Cheese XXL Seeds are a little ahead of the Amnesia XXL in size. I didn't check the EC and PH, Actually, I've never checked them. Still worked out. But I guess I should give it more attention, because of the coco.

Amikaro Something is wrong with the trunk of one of the Amnezias. All the others seem fine. Same conditions. So I really don't know yet, what's wrong with her.

Amikaro The trunk is still weak. The leafs are more than ok. But now the big leafs are a burden for the weak trunk. I don't know how to fix this. Luckily all the others are healthy and thriving. It's time for LST this week.

Amikaro The lamp was a bit to close, so the bigger one of the Cheese ones got a bit burned. I removed the biggets fan leaves. And I wanted to start with LST. My bad I damaged the trunk of the smaller Cheese one. Hope she will survive. But very optimistic about this one. And I have still no idea whats wrong with the trunk of the Amnesia. She's too weak to handle the weight of the leaves. I removed some. Hope that at least the other to survive.

Amikaro It was a tough week. I almost killed one of the Cheeses by LST. Almost broke the trunk completely. She seems to be fine now and she is still ahead of the last Amnesia. So the smaller Amnesia is finally dead. First time that I lost a plant. Looks like the roots were never strong enough. Don't know what I did wrong.

Amikaro Wow, that boost. Now I'm happy that I lost one of the plants, because my small tent is full and bushy. Had to remove a lot of bigger fanleaves. And I might do it again. Did some LST, but I was way too late. The biggest is 70cm, the middle 50cm and the smallest 40cm high. The lamp distance is getting dangerously close. Might do adress this issue depending on how much more the big one will gain in height.

Amikaro Wow, one of them reached a meter height. It got so dense and bushy in the tent, that I have to defoliate every now and then. Because of the height, I need to relocate the lamp. The distance is way to short. The other two are also catching up one at 90cm and the other at 70cm. This might become my biggest yield ever. Despite losing one.

Amikaro Wholy crap. Had to hang up the lights a bit higher, cause the biggest Amnesia was easily reaching for it. 115cm, 100cm and 90cm. The XXL was no joke. The first frost started showing up. Winter is coming. :) So MANY beautiful buds. Hopefully they gain in density. With soil at this time of the grow, the buds were really thick. But can't compare because of different seeds. This week the weather was getting hotter. I had to cool down a bit, because the temperature was slightly over 30°C, at 31-32°.

Amikaro Temperature was this week ok. Humidity was too high in the night. Buds are getting thicker and stickier. The Cheeses are frosted. The Amnesia is still not showing signs of frost. As I prolonged the vegatation for a week, I'll wait another week with the harvest. Maybe the Amnesia does even need two more weeks.

Amikaro The buds are getting thicker and thicker. The pestills of the Cheese are turning nicely orange. Still, there are some with a lot of white one. I'll give them another week. The Amnesia is not their yet. All pestills are white. But she'll be there. Temperatures rose and I couldn't water them for four days. But they are still on track.

Amikaro Huge outcome. Biggest yield so far. But taste and smell are a little bit more than average. Had better ones. But considering the yield, more than happy with this one.
