Still waiting on the weather. It's supposed to get down to 49F overnight on Tuesday, after that I should be good to transplant into the garden on Wednesday after I finish at the Farmers Market. I'll be keeping an AG19 row cover on them as they settle in and don't get chilled at night. I managed to get a hold of some biochar so that will be going in with the Ocean Forest potting soil, as well as some lime to avoid lockout which happened to me last year the first time they were exposed to heavy rain.
So jealous of your garden. Good idea to cover them up at night with the greenhouse plastic to keep them warm. By the way, how does your grandma handle the THC? I am trying to get my mom to vape some CBD weed for her arthritis and general inflammation but she's scared to get high. She's very prejudiced. I might try to sneak some cannabutter inside her food lol
@Fibro_Witch, Yea I was joking I will keep insisting and eventually I'm sure she will try it. And you are right times are changing but I live in Spain so here it's not so much a "war on drugs" issue it's more of a "weed makes you dumb and lazy" thing 😂.
@@@Lucimago, Haha, my grandma is the other way around. She has no aversion to THC. But, she does like the 1:1's better than the higher THC strains. I think she feels like as she gets older she doesn't handle the THC as well and it puts her out whereas with the 1:1 she can still function and it just chills her out.
As for your Mom, just be up front with her. Give her the facts about CBD. I used to be prejudiced too (because high THC strains make me go bonkers, total paranoia, and I had a really bad experience once that put me off it for like 10 years) but then I found what works for me. The cannabis world is making a huge 180 compared to the days of Reagan and the "War on Drugs". I'm sure your Mom will come around eventually, Cannabis is here to help😉
@@Lucimago, Thanks! I've converted her to 1:1 CBD strains. I gave her some the the Blue Shark I grew last year for xmas and she loves it! She's on several meds that make her nauseous, and she loves that she can have a smoke and still function.
