Well these seedlings have got off too a great start , I did not pop the seeds into water for the first 24 hours this time , I just placed into a peat pod and within 3 days they broke the soil , so about the same time too germinate than both methods , I started them off at 250 watts of my 600watt dual spectrum bulb and will switch that up too 350 watts once I've got a few more leaves ,

Well this little tester has out grown her sisters by quite alot in its development , she is much larger and bigger leaves than the others and looks like she is really reaching for the stars and has had nothing more than fresh water until this week

Coming along nicely now apart from alittle cock up yesterday where I accidentally topped her while trying too lst but I have managed too tape the stem in place so I am hoping my little cock up will force the lower branches too shoot upwards while the broken stem heals , This week I had too change my lighting too 600 true watts of kingbo dual optical LED range due too the temps getting closer too 30c than I would like , and by doing so I have now got a constant temp of 27c lights on and 18c lights out, Update on day 4 or week 3 , My little cock up snapping the main stem while trying to lst the tape seems too have really don't the trick , and although snapping the main stem is not ideal lol , It seems I've managed too top this plant and still get too keep the top , the leaves all look fresh and healthy and feed so I will leave the tape on there for two weeks and then try and remove it as all I had too hand was selotape lol The breakage really do not seemed too affect the top 2 nodes at all apart from trigger the lower plant too stretch out , as this break was bad , like hanging on by a thread bad , so really shocked it took too the repair so easily , and as always I had just been leaching the soil with a single feed that lasts them 7 days , my set up is completely automated and I only go too the grow space once a week but I have a WiFi cam inside the grow space so I can check the temps and how dry the pots are just incase I need too increase the feeding , but too be fair these autos seem too have a mad feed at week 7 and 8 and then drink one feed per week , keeping it simple has helped I think as the plants seem too love it , and I don't need too do anything apart from check the camera , And that's just the way I like it , I pay special attention too the temps in my grow space and a calculator in hand for the nutrients , Other than that I leave them alone too do what they do , I will take some end of week 3 pics over the weekend at some point it's abit of a drive so once a week suits me down too the ground , :) Update on day 5 of week 3 well as you can see from the photos this week has had a huge raise in production , the breakage I did too the main stem has completely healed it's self and the plant has bushed right out at the bottom and top of the plant where it broke , So all in all my little cock up has actually helped the plant grow larger , I today gave them a smaller defoliation basically anything covering a branch that could not be tucked under it I removed , This is too get as much light too these spots as possible too get them too develop before flowering starts , But so far so good , temps are good and no nutrient burns on any of the plants , and the results from day one / first feed on green buzz nutrients too this photo today day 5 is dramatic , the photo of all four was before defoliation , but the defoliation has just shown how busy they have this week and the bud sites on this things already is crazy , my next plan this week is too put the net in there and space out all of the branches too give the best spacing between the breaches

I've added week 4 early so I can keep track of the nutrients bucket , I have decided too add full recomend dose of the humic acid and the more roots and have half dosed the organic veg feed , and the results from day one / first feed on green buzz nutrients too this photo today day 5 is dramatic , the photo of all four was before defoliation , but the defoliation has just shown how busy they have this week , Also a note on nutrients I learned a lesson this week , organic feeds do not store in a bucket of bubbles , I went too the bucket I made up 3 days ago and has been stored in a 20 ltr bucket with two large bubbler air stones in as I always have with no issues , But today the mixture had seporated I had like a skin on the top of the bucket , I mixed and mixed and mixed , ended up like a soup bits floating all other the place, So I suspect I will have too make up my bucket and only use the base nutrients and only add the additional addatives on the day of use , This is probably common sense too most growers but a first for me so lesson learned , So far the plants are liking what there drinking and I've had an amazing couple of weeks with temps peeking around 23.5c - 24.8c light cycle , so have really got this extraction side sorted with my recent fan and filter upgrade , I today turned the idle speed of my climate control too around 25c But all in all a really good week progress wise as you can see from week 4 photos of day one defoliation to today's photos day 6 of week 4 , the defoliation has really bought the BlackBerry kush alive from a droppy leaved sulking runt too now just 5 days later has become something very different , some say don't do it , some swear by it , I first time round didn't and the lower plant really suffered , for me by pulling off the big problem leaves or anything you know will grow into a problem early on , you get her that shock before the flower really starts too form giving her just enough time too recover before flower , but too be fair a good defoliation doesn't seem too faze fast buds strains , infact it seems too induce them too shoot out in all directions , Then giving me the chance too tigh down those side branches , and if I'm lucky enough even the main cola , my last blackberry that was an amazing plant , I managed too pull down the top stem under a net , and it gave me meany colas and all as silly thick as each other ,

I have an oscillating fan blowing across the top of my canopy and a fan on the floor blowing up through the canopy. Fan on floor brings the cooler air that sinks back up and also co2 is heavier than air so it helps to blow the co2 back into the canopy. Good luck, hope this helps!

Really into the massive stretch now I am having too move the climate control probe and thermostat every day now and these girls will soon cover the WiFi camera too , probably growing around 2 or 3 cm per 24 hours at this stage , " day 4 of week 5 " The tent is filling up nicely but the fbt7 is a clear winner so far , be is my cock up of snapping the main stem and fixing it ? The ftb7 is double the size of all the other 3 plants and is a very nice little bush , the smoothie has been very consistently healthy and vigorous and is around 22cm now and is one I did not lst , the BlackBerry has finally woken up and is now the same height as the others another plant I didn't lst , the c1 started very vigorously and was strong , them week 3 started too show signs of very early flower , she is now is fully fledged flower at week 5 and looking fantastic , and I was lucky enough too get all the side branches out and bend over the main cola too the netting and has made up for in lst what it lacked in size due too the early flowering ,

Well this lady as you can see exploded into a massive bush , she is double the size of the rest in the tent , so it seems as if my cock up of snapping the main stem and successfully grafting it back on has really been a positive rather than a negative increasing the plants size / yeld , I am very excited too see what this turns out like

So really packing on weight now and looking the picture of health , nutrients really doing there job and plants are loving them , Really excited too get too the end of this grow now , Update at the end of week 8 she developed slight leaf tip yellowing after a week on full strength more PK at 2ml per ltr then a second week at a reduced 1ml per ltr the yellowing is only slight and a good sign you are pushing the limits of the feeding , Showing signs of ripening now so next week I will begin the flush ,

So The buds are frosty as hell , smell amazing like a gassy / lemon zest dank smell , is far stronger in smell than any fast buds strain I've grown before , the buds are dense yet fluffy with crystal , this plant did start too flower at week 3 going into 4 so she has finnished alittle earlyer than the rest , so happy with that , I haveated at day 4 of week 9 and around 80% of the pistel hairs are golden and was alittle harder too see on this girl because the hairs are so tiny and fine, the trics are around 10 too 15% amber and that's just how I like them as I make oil with my bud and you don't really get the body lock with infusion anyways so that's where I like too take them up , I will of course have a smoke test and let you know what it's like , but just going by how it looks and smells I can tell it's going too be amazing , as it absolutely stinks the whole house out now , I hope No1 smells it lol I would just like too thank fast buds for giving me this chance too test there strains And all there help other the months , And also green buzz nutrients for all there help and free nutrients , if I was too do one thing different I would not have given the first dose of more PK at full strength the first week as it caused yellow tips , but that was completely my fault as I was adviced too half the dose and decided too see what would happen , I also qeuistion if more than one week with pk is abit much for an auto flower plant ? But I will play around with this next grow giving one plant full strength more PK for one week , and another half strengh for two weeks and see what happens ,

Ok just finnished a blunt of this a out an hour ago, and I do not smoke blunts lol But it seems only right too do a real smoked reveiw , So the fbt7 has been dry now for about 2 weeks and in a jar and today was the day too take the first bud too try so I rolled a fat one " fat one in photos lol , So for me the flavour just isn't there yet and am hoping that will come after a cure , So I smoked this all too my self and qiukly , Within a few minutes I went white as a ghost as was twitching the the corner hehehe, This is very strong bud and I would go as far as saying it's probably the strongest bud I've had in years , I am what I would describe as a joker smoker , as I turn my bud into oils and do not smoke it , But any serious cannabis smoker will absolutely love this strain , Well done fast buds and thank you :)

To your Grow Question here: It's actually quite simple. A single fan is not a fan. Only when min. 2 fans to be aimed directly at each other. (eg 1x above or initially in the middle) and one in the opposite corner at the level of the pot conclusion. Through this clash arises for a certain time fruitfully for a certain time only a monotone aerial image which can simulate no natural environment, but from the point of time where the plants have reached a certain size so that the leaves protrude actively into the air flow and so through the constantly different leaves together with the fans from this Zeitpuntk represent the most natural air circulation. For your other question BUDS NOT FATTENING see our answer in your other diary FBTC1. But your plants look great in general and they are missing up to our ORGANIC MORE PK what they will be very happy after the first dose. The time is right. Furthermore, maximum success desired. Like if you see it the same way, or commented if you see it differently / have other experiences.

@Puffer_Bill, have alook at her now , the snapped branch has fully healed in less than a week and is 5 times bigger than it was 5 days ago , crazy how fast these plant grow
LockDownGrow
LockDownGrowcommented6 years ago
@Puffer_Bill, yes often a high stress damage will do that , the same as cutting off the top stem makes the lower branches grow up as if they where the main stem , but if you can get the broken stem too re graft it works two fold as you still get too keep the main stem too but the damage still triggers the plant too push up all branches so it actually works in your favour really even if at the time it feels as if you just made a major cock up , come check it out in a weeks time and you will see ,

@LockDownGrow, My 1st grow I snapped a stem nearly right off. I taped it up. It produced an odd shaped but rather large bud. 🍀😎🤞🏼

@GreenBuzzNutrients, thank you I worked that for the first feed using your nutes I would need 40ml of your base nutrients just on the first bucket mix so there wouldn't be enough too do the grow , and sadly I cannot just use it on one plant as I mix up the same bucket for all plants , but I will give the addatives a good go this grow , Thank you so much

Of course we did not know that such a large tank/bucket is available. In the case that our organic NPK-containing basic fertilizer should be added to the tank/bucket, it requires anyway a constant recirculation of it (circulating pump or ideally a biofilter providing this). For more detailed information so please note the last note under point 4 in our FAQ here: https://www.gb-liquids.com/html/faq.php On the other hand, you do not have to pay attention to this with our additives. And you can use also our Trichoderma/Bacteria Mix LIVING ORGANICS on the bare root bevore every repot in a new container or apply later on around the stem (maximum 1 blade tip per plant is more than enought)

@CRiSPrGrow, Thank goodness, yes we are over 20 years in the buisness we know what they plants need aín any growing cycle and it´s even more than synthetic nutrients and low concentrations (making it a little easier to dose them), but also wasting their hard-earned money! It's fun and fun working in harmony with nature. Who does not love to give the earthworms from the possibly added worm humus at the end of the grow cycle under the bottom of the pot into the new medium in to the next growing cycle. So our product range is so organic that you can cultivate earthworms yourself :)

@CRiSPrGrow, the snapping of the branch did not seem too bother her at all , she is now the largest and bushiest plant in the space , I would go as far as saying she is double the size of the rest in the tent , so what ever the genetics she is , I am at a constant 23.2c lights on , and I am being very careful with nutrients , So all going too plan she should be healthy and cool , I already know the LEDs work so am getting excited now they start too flower , One thing I have not practiced is giving plan water between feeds , and mabey I should start , mabey give her 2 pints of clean water every other feed too limit nutrients build up , we will see , my problem is that I only go too my plants once a week , sometimes twice , so I wouldn't get too see any problems until they have well developed , Green buzz nutrients instructions are very good and easy too follow , so all I am doing is , full recommend dose of anything that does not contain N-P-K and then a 50% strength of bloom and veg feed , so far seems too be really working well ,

@LockDownGrow, I highly recommend exploring JRPeters Jacks fertilizer line. They have a hydroponic 2 part fertilizer that is incredible. You only need to but Epsom salt for your magnesium and you have a complete grouping. With Mammoth P root additives. Ive seen huge growth and 8-14% increase in yields. Ive tried every popular nutrients line that I know of, and nothing is as close as this stuff. Please research all 4 separately and you'll see what I mean. The fertilizer is a little hot, compared to other nutrients. I think part A is 5-26-12. You can buy both parts of the jacks hydro and bag of magnesium on Esty. Instead of spending 200 dollars on the big bags. You get 4 pound bags from this seller. Hes got perfect reviews too. I can get Mammoth P for 40 shipped, if interested i can send you the information. its the easiest stuff i ever worked with. Just remember its not this highly diluted stuff you get from Fox, Canna. Advanced. This stuff does what it says it does. It will run your PPM towards the high end, but my plants still respond very well

LockDownGrowcommented5 years ago
@RonnieB, Hi and thanks for looking, I topped her at the 4th node and then trained her from there on I don't class that as lst as such well until you miss a branch and its become too thick and folds over lol, I had lot of issues this grow sadly with fizzing nutrients and my pH pen messed up so had too get a new one, But too be fair even after I got the blue lab pH pen I was still getting pistes brown from week one right up till the end, So I highly suspect the nutrient where spiked lol I asked someone the other day have they ever seen nutes do that and he said never in his 32 years of growing, he told me too bin them, shame really as it was a full organic range and all in ltr bottles :( But I won't make the same mistake again by using them. I gave them a really good flush and too be fair the plants seemed too enjoy just pH water than they did the feed Every flush the pistels grow white on the feed they instantly turned brown It's nice getting free nutrents but not if it harms the grow, and I have no idea what bottles where bad or good, The smoke tastes clean and flavourful because I flushed well And its heavy hitting so I'm happy , But the feed was definitely a bad batch
