Fast Buds Tester 7 "gelato"

LockDownGrow Well these seedlings have got off too a great start , I did not pop the seeds into water for the first 24 hours this time , I just placed into a peat pod and within 3 days they broke the soil , so about the same time too germinate than both methods , I started them off at 250 watts of my 600watt dual spectrum bulb and will switch that up too 350 watts once I've got a few more leaves ,

LockDownGrow Well this little tester has out grown her sisters by quite alot in its development , she is much larger and bigger leaves than the others and looks like she is really reaching for the stars and has had nothing more than fresh water until this week

LockDownGrow Coming along nicely now apart from alittle cock up yesterday where I accidentally topped her while trying too lst but I have managed too tape the stem in place so I am hoping my little cock up will force the lower branches too shoot upwards while the broken stem heals , This week I had too change my lighting too 600 true watts of kingbo dual optical LED range due too the temps getting closer too 30c than I would like , and by doing so I have now got a constant temp of 27c lights on and 18c lights out, Update on day 4 or week 3 , My little cock up snapping the main stem while trying to lst the tape seems too have really don't the trick , and although snapping the main stem is not ideal lol , It seems I've managed too top this plant and still get too keep the top , the leaves all look fresh and healthy and feed so I will leave the tape on there for two weeks and then try and remove it as all I had too hand was selotape lol The breakage really do not seemed too affect the top 2 nodes at all apart from trigger the lower plant too stretch out , as this break was bad , like hanging on by a thread bad , so really shocked it took too the repair so easily , and as always I had just been leaching the soil with a single feed that lasts them 7 days , my set up is completely automated and I only go too the grow space once a week but I have a WiFi cam inside the grow space so I can check the temps and how dry the pots are just incase I need too increase the feeding , but too be fair these autos seem too have a mad feed at week 7 and 8 and then drink one feed per week , keeping it simple has helped I think as the plants seem too love it , and I don't need too do anything apart from check the camera , And that's just the way I like it , I pay special attention too the temps in my grow space and a calculator in hand for the nutrients , Other than that I leave them alone too do what they do , I will take some end of week 3 pics over the weekend at some point it's abit of a drive so once a week suits me down too the ground , :) Update on day 5 of week 3 well as you can see from the photos this week has had a huge raise in production , the breakage I did too the main stem has completely healed it's self and the plant has bushed right out at the bottom and top of the plant where it broke , So all in all my little cock up has actually helped the plant grow larger , I today gave them a smaller defoliation basically anything covering a branch that could not be tucked under it I removed , This is too get as much light too these spots as possible too get them too develop before flowering starts , But so far so good , temps are good and no nutrient burns on any of the plants , and the results from day one / first feed on green buzz nutrients too this photo today day 5 is dramatic , the photo of all four was before defoliation , but the defoliation has just shown how busy they have this week and the bud sites on this things already is crazy , my next plan this week is too put the net in there and space out all of the branches too give the best spacing between the breaches

LockDownGrow I've added week 4 early so I can keep track of the nutrients bucket , I have decided too add full recomend dose of the humic acid and the more roots and have half dosed the organic veg feed , and the results from day one / first feed on green buzz nutrients too this photo today day 5 is dramatic , the photo of all four was before defoliation , but the defoliation has just shown how busy they have this week , Also a note on nutrients I learned a lesson this week , organic feeds do not store in a bucket of bubbles , I went too the bucket I made up 3 days ago and has been stored in a 20 ltr bucket with two large bubbler air stones in as I always have with no issues , But today the mixture had seporated I had like a skin on the top of the bucket , I mixed and mixed and mixed , ended up like a soup bits floating all other the place, So I suspect I will have too make up my bucket and only use the base nutrients and only add the additional addatives on the day of use , This is probably common sense too most growers but a first for me so lesson learned , So far the plants are liking what there drinking and I've had an amazing couple of weeks with temps peeking around 23.5c - 24.8c light cycle , so have really got this extraction side sorted with my recent fan and filter upgrade , I today turned the idle speed of my climate control too around 25c But all in all a really good week progress wise as you can see from week 4 photos of day one defoliation to today's photos day 6 of week 4 , the defoliation has really bought the BlackBerry kush alive from a droppy leaved sulking runt too now just 5 days later has become something very different , some say don't do it , some swear by it , I first time round didn't and the lower plant really suffered , for me by pulling off the big problem leaves or anything you know will grow into a problem early on , you get her that shock before the flower really starts too form giving her just enough time too recover before flower , but too be fair a good defoliation doesn't seem too faze fast buds strains , infact it seems too induce them too shoot out in all directions , Then giving me the chance too tigh down those side branches , and if I'm lucky enough even the main cola , my last blackberry that was an amazing plant , I managed too pull down the top stem under a net , and it gave me meany colas and all as silly thick as each other ,

LockDownGrow Really into the massive stretch now I am having too move the climate control probe and thermostat every day now and these girls will soon cover the WiFi camera too , probably growing around 2 or 3 cm per 24 hours at this stage , " day 4 of week 5 " The tent is filling up nicely but the fbt7 is a clear winner so far , be is my cock up of snapping the main stem and fixing it ? The ftb7 is double the size of all the other 3 plants and is a very nice little bush , the smoothie has been very consistently healthy and vigorous and is around 22cm now and is one I did not lst , the BlackBerry has finally woken up and is now the same height as the others another plant I didn't lst , the c1 started very vigorously and was strong , them week 3 started too show signs of very early flower , she is now is fully fledged flower at week 5 and looking fantastic , and I was lucky enough too get all the side branches out and bend over the main cola too the netting and has made up for in lst what it lacked in size due too the early flowering ,

LockDownGrow Well this lady as you can see exploded into a massive bush , she is double the size of the rest in the tent , so it seems as if my cock up of snapping the main stem and successfully grafting it back on has really been a positive rather than a negative increasing the plants size / yeld , I am very excited too see what this turns out like

LockDownGrow So this plant is doing very well and fattening up nicely , she has had her last dose of pk now , Fast buds do not give anything away with there tester seeds , but I am wondering from the flower formation of this could be the gelato auto they are going too bring out this year ?

LockDownGrow So really packing on weight now and looking the picture of health , nutrients really doing there job and plants are loving them , Really excited too get too the end of this grow now , Update at the end of week 8 she developed slight leaf tip yellowing after a week on full strength more PK at 2ml per ltr then a second week at a reduced 1ml per ltr the yellowing is only slight and a good sign you are pushing the limits of the feeding , Showing signs of ripening now so next week I will begin the flush ,

LockDownGrow Flush time for this tester , all went well and nutrients worked well , She is now 100% cloudy and about 5% amber on the sugar leaves , So should be ready this coming weekend or the next

LockDownGrow Ok just finnished a blunt of this a out an hour ago, and I do not smoke blunts lol But it seems only right too do a real smoked reveiw , So the fbt7 has been dry now for about 2 weeks and in a jar and today was the day too take the first bud too try so I rolled a fat one " fat one in photos lol , So for me the flavour just isn't there yet and am hoping that will come after a cure , So I smoked this all too my self and qiukly , Within a few minutes I went white as a ghost as was twitching the the corner hehehe, This is very strong bud and I would go as far as saying it's probably the strongest bud I've had in years , I am what I would describe as a joker smoker , as I turn my bud into oils and do not smoke it , But any serious cannabis smoker will absolutely love this strain , Well done fast buds and thank you :)
