Ramires Tag 1: They are entering the growth phase. Since they have stretched a bit, I filled them up with some soil and moistened with pH-adjusted water.

Ramires Tag 8: the first plant was still a bit too small at 5 cm to apply LST, but I could apply it to the other beauty.

Ramires Tag 15: With this strain, I seem to be at odds. The first grow was a complete failure, and now with the second grow, plant 1 doesn't really want to grow either. Plant 2 is doing significantly better at just over 11 cm. Let's wait and see how both develop. I've bent plant 2 down again. Tag 18: Both plants have entered pre-flowering.

Ramires Tag 21: both plants have entered the flowering stage and have gained a lot of size. They are now 24 and 18 cm tall. I have still done a bit of LST on both and removed a few leaves. It's quite amazing the different growth, despite the same conditions.

Ramires Day 28: both are developing their buds beautifully and the smell is getting a bit more intense. They are stretching normally and are 31 and 29 cm tall. I find the growth of plant 2 amazing, as it is very different from plant 1.

Ramires Tag 35: The buds are getting plumper and the smell is increasing, on plant 2 the pistils are starting to change color. Plant 1 is 50 cm tall and plant 2 is 34 cm tall. Besides removing a few leaves, nothing else has been done with them.

Ramires Tag 42: the smell that hits you when you open the tent is quite appealing, so sweet - spicy. Plant one has had another growth spurt and is now 57 cm tall and full of buds. I only defoliated her very sparingly. But I never noticed in all these weeks that she only has 3-finger fan leaves. Plant two has 5-finger leaves and is not comparable in growth to number one at all. She has stayed at 34 cm in height and only has a few tiny side shoots. But: "That's Life" 😁 The trichomes on the first are about 40% cloudy, on the second about 60% cloudy, and a few are amber. Tag 47: this morning I discovered white-gray mold on plant one and immediately removed the whole branch generously. I'm a bit surprised because the humidity is at 57% and there's enough airflow in the tent. This is the first time mold has appeared in the tent grow. I will now check every day and if necessary, harvest both Kitsune and the Black Orchid before the harvest time.

Ramires Tag 49: I checked both Kitsume and Black Orchid and luckily didn't find any further mold infestation. The smell is very intense. I removed a few leaves. The trichomes are about 40% cloudy,

Ramires Tag 56: They are ripening, but slowly, the trichomes are 50% milky. The buds are developing very well. The smell is strongly citrusy, but it also has a spicy note. I'm already looking forward to smoking it. I think they need another 2 - 3 weeks until harvest.

Ramires Tag 63: The smell is very strong, spicy/lemony. The trichomes are about 80% cloudy with some amber ones, with plant 2 being a bit further along. I think that in a week the two beauties can be harvested. Now they're only being watered with pH-regulated water, without any nutrients.

Ramires Tag 68: Today was harvest day 😁 The trichomes were 80% cloudy, 15% clear, and the rest amber. I only removed the large fan leaves to dry them in the basement at about 18° C. A dehumidifier ensures that the relative humidity stays around 55%. A small fan provides air movement in the room. Updates on weight, aroma, and effects to follow. After 9 days of drying, today was dry trimming day. I borrowed a manual trimming machine from a friend, and I have to say, I was done with both plants in no time. It all took maybe 45 minutes in total. I don't know if the machine can maintain the quality like hand trimming. Maybe someone here has some info. Plant 1 weighed in at 28 g of buds and an additional 7 g of trim waste. Plant 2 was at 6 g and 2.3 g of trim waste. Considering it was quite small and had almost no side branches, it looked like a SOG strain, and it even had some bud rot, I'm pretty satisfied. Both plants are stored in separate jars. While trimming, a strong citrus aroma developed with a spicy undertone. I'm already looking forward to smoking it after about 3 weeks of curing. The trim waste will be decarboxylated in the oven at 100°C for about 30 minutes. When enough accumulates from the next grows, bubble hash will be made from it, for edibles.
