Zeven_Xero_Fyve Up-potted to 1 Gallon Pot, and used Mycorrhyzal Fungi to prevent shock. Also started feeding low dose PH Perfect Grow-Micro-Bloom to get her used to synthganic feeding. The soil alone could likely keep her fed for a long time, but the bottom watering/feeding with low dose synthetics ensures that there are no lacking nutrients that could cause toxicity and imbalance elsewhere.

Zeven_Xero_Fyve Lots of growth this week, she's ready to top and start mainlining. This plant is going to be a stretcher once she's into flower, so I'm going to keep in veg for a least another few weeks until I can get her in a trellis and get each square filled with a top.

Zeven_Xero_Fyve She's growing like there's no tomorrow, taking to the training like its a breeze. Incredibly healthy. I will give her some time to dense up a little before any more training. It's only a 2x2 tent she's in so I can't really go too crazy.

Zeven_Xero_Fyve . End of Week 6, Day 42: Another week of topping, trimming and training are done, and I think that's all I need to do. I'll leave her alone now and let her veg out for a week or two, only removing leaves and/or stems if they're a problem. She's all limbs and few fingers for now, but that will change quickly. In a week she'll be all fingers.

Zeven_Xero_Fyve - It's Wednesday, so that means it's haircut day. 😁 Not a moment too soon, she was getting shaggy really fast. Anyhow, she's in the bigger tent for the moment while I sort out seedlings in the smaller tent, but I'll move her back in another week or two once she's ready for the trellis.

Zeven_Xero_Fyve . End of Week 8: She's fully regrown her foliage and getting bushy again, but also starting to stretch upwards even as I get the first trellis net in place, so today will be the last day of 18/6 lighting and into flower she'll go. She's also smelling mature, not just of sweet candy, but there's also a skunky odour that wafts into my nose whenever I open the tent. I topped up her water and nutrients yesterday and am now easing a little towards bloom and will increase all nutrients little by little to match her size and vigour. I'm also seeing purples developing on the stems here and there. There are also 8 and 9 finger leaves developing at the tops. All good signs to start flower. While taking some pictures I accidentally broke off one of the tops, and so to keep things fair I topped the other side off as well. It actually works out as I'll now have enough colas to fill every square in the 2nd trellis without a lot of effort, so all's well that ends well.

Zeven_Xero_Fyve . end of Week 9: I did one last thinning a week ago before flipped her into 12/12 lighting, but since she's not showing just yet I'll keep her growdiary on Veg. By next week I expect to see some kind of early flowering, but this girl seems to march to the beat of her own drum and will start flowering when she's good and ready😏 In the meantime I've added the second trellis in place as she's almost stretched enough to begin filling out the canopy, as well as to get her mess of leaves organized, because they just don't stop growing 😕😆

Zeven_Xero_Fyve . End of Week 10 (Day 70): In the past week I've managed to fill every square but the corner pockets with future tops, so my work is nearly done. She is just starting to show signs of flowering on main stems, so week 11 will be the first week of flower most likely in this grow diarrhea. It's going to be a couple more weeks at least before she's in proper flower with lots of hedgehogs, so it's just a matter of keeping her pampered and comfortable for the time being until she starts getting the munchies. I've had a small issue with gnats biting through leaves for a couple weeks, so I did a light dusting of Diatomaceous Earth on the leaves and a layer on the soil yesterday. Some leaves in the leaves may appear to have powdery mildew, but they don't 👍. I am getting some hanging fly traps tomorrow to deal with these douche-flies, as the sticker traps alone aren't catching them all, as well as getting another fan to make sure nowhere in the tent is comfortable for the little pests. 👹💀 That Jug inside of a sock to the left of the plant is just sugar, water, and yeast = slow release CO2 (also alcohol, but I'm not drinking table sugar booze if you paid me to).

I like the idea of bottomfeeding, and intend to use it myself, simply because, when using Mycorrhizae, that can fetch whatever the plant requires, even if it is at the bottom, and anything you add to your water, should in theory get filtered out in the lower parts of the soil, where most of the rootsystem is not, but Mycorrhizae can get to it. I blend the Mycorrhizae into the soil to get the full soil coverage from start. Plus you do not wash the soil nutients away.

@CanniGrow420, definitely. Ever since I switched to the self-watering bases it's made growing very hands off, all my time spent with plants is just trimming, training, admiring. I know exactly how much water the plants need, and a lot less guess work. It also bumps humidity up a little bit in the tent, which can be good or bad depending where you live and time of year. It also saves on soil medium as you don't need a huge pot to get big yields.

@Zeven_Xero_Fyve, Did not notise the self-watering, i intend to do it manually, my plants are not getting any water before they are dry, cannot be automated, yet.
