Seed Sat in water overnight, then planted directly into rapid rooter. Broke surface on day 3. Hope she finishes around the same time as the Green Crack.
Last week, I had a really bad fight with a white/clear slime in my reservoir. The poor plant took a big hit so early in the game, but she seems to have made a near full recovery. I have high hopes that I saved her in time. Now we wait.
I lied. She's looking super happy and healthy, so I went ahead and topped her the third node on day 17. I'm excited to see how this turns out. Can't wait to start some LST!
I had a nitrogen toxicity problem this week. These babies are not quite as hungry as my last run, so I dialed the nutes back to about half. She seems to have recovered over the last couple days. I think she's going to be fine. Even has her first pistils showing!
This week, I discovered that my local tap water's PH has changed. It used to be pretty stable around 7, but for the last couple weeks it has been nearer 8.5! I found out just a little bit too late. Roots have died off, leaves shriveled in response. It was very close to the end for these plants. However, I finally got a grasp on it once again. While stable, I'm not entirely sure she'll fully recover this time. Fingers crossed!
Plants were begging for more phosphorous this week, so increased the bloom nutes. Don't think they'll get much bigger, but they are flowering okay. They'll be some super cute tiny harvests. Can't wait.
So far so good. We had our struggles, but I think she's happy again. Can't wait to see how my tiny yield turns out. Not exactly what I was hoping for, but still a lot of fun and learning. And stoked to finally have a harvest at all! ✌️🏻️
This week has been dealing with heat stress. I had to hook my carbon filter back up to my exhaust for the flowering autos. I forgot to turn it up higher to account for the restricted airflow. All sorted now, but the damage is done. I'm sure we can recover though.
Tutankhamon got a bunch more fan leaves trimmed off from the heat damage. I was worried, but she seems okay. And the defoliation kinda helped open up some lower buds. Maybe not all bad? We'll see.
Ugggh, I'm ready for these to be finished. Kinda sad how stunted they got, and now algae is slowly taking over my roots. I'm too lazy to bother fighting it anymore, so I'm just hoping she finishes up soon. 🤞🏼
Watching trichromes develop and hairs darken. All a waiting game at this point. I did get loads of leaf damage from algea on my roots due to using white buckets. At this point, it's not worth fighting it so I'm leaving it be. She smells strong as hell, but it's difficult to describe or place. Not fruity, more skunky or musky. 🤷♂️🏼 She's getting thicker every day at this point.
To me, this is kind of a generic 'stoned' feeling. Not too zoned out, a bit of munchies, gradual fade back to sober. Overall, just kinda meh, imo. But my wife really likes it. Finds it very relaxing, but stronger munchies. Super dank smell, very loud. Strange sour kind of taste, but not as bad as the smell. I guess I have mixed feelings about this one.
I made a crapton of mistakes that really hurt this little one. I think she really could have been incredible, but I'm still happy with it. Very bushy and dense growth. I would have loved to clear out a lot of the lower, weaker growth. But she was just too dense and tiny to really get in there and clear her out. So I just left her mostly alone. Algea on her roots caused the rusty dying leaves, I think. Lots of problems, but still put out. Good stuff! 👍🏻
So everyone that tries this Tutankhamon has raved about it except me. I don't know what it is. I certainly feel stoned when I vape it. But it's just kinda generic to me, nothing particularly notable. Others seem to describe it similarly, but in a very, enjoyable, relaxing, happy way. I prefer a more uplifting high, so will lean towards different effects, but would certainly recommend this auto. It was tenacious and tough and super bushy! A great little plant overall, despite my noob efforts. 😁✌️🏻️
