Schnabeldino 🌱 New Grow – New Adventure! 🌱 Monster Maker from SweetSeeds
🔍 Specs for the heads:
👨🌾 Genetics: 60% Indica / 40% Sativa
⏱️ Flowering time: 8–9 weeks (indoor)
💥 Potency: ~22–30% THC
🌈 Aromas: fruity with sweet and sour nuances; strawberry, lemon & mandarin (fresh, distinct citrus note) + wild berries (sweet & exotic)
🧘♂️ Effect: starts off creative & stimulating, transitions into a clear, revitalizing calm
🌱 Germination & Substrate 🌱
I first placed the Monster Maker seed in a glass of water for 12 hours until the seed coat opened. Then I placed it in a damp paper towel for 24–48 hours until the radicle had formed.
At the same time, I prepared the substrate: 5 g Startrex was mixed into the BioBizz light mix soil. I dusted the planting hole with a little Mycotrex before planting. After about 1.5 days, the little monster was born, ready to take on the world. In the first few days, the seedlings stood under my SANlight Flex II at ~150–200 PPFD (18/6). The moderate intensity kept the babies compact, prevented stress, and promoted rapid root formation.

Schnabeldino 📅 Week 1 – Day 1 - 7
🔸My Monster Maker has mastered the first week superbly. 💚
It looks strong and lively, the green is rich, and the first serrated fan leaves next to the cotyledons are there. The stem has a slight purple sheen – probably from being a little too wet at the start, after I soaked it once with Bactrex and Orgatrex at the beginning. That one watering was actually enough for the whole week. In the meantime, it is back on track and problem-free.
🔸I am really happy with the start. After the short “wet phase,” it has recovered nicely—strong color, fresh growth, and an overall healthy impression. For week 2, I will remain patient: water gently, keep the climate stable, and just let it continue to grow in peace. 🌱

Day 14 – Monster Maker 👹🌿
🔸 Still cruising in the 1-L pot for now; transplant is coming up next. I’ll prep the new container with Bactrex mixed into the soil and a small pinch of Mycotrex right in the planting hole so the roots meet the mycorrhiza on contact. Compact, rich green canopy with short internodes. Side branches are stacking nicely and the center is pushing fresh growth—she looks eager for more room.
🔸 What’s next: One careful transplant, then gentle watering and a bit of LST once she settles in.
🔸 Summary: Holding steady and healthy. Monster Maker is thriving in the 1-L pot and looks more than ready to stretch her legs in a bigger home soon. 🌱✨

Day 20 – Monster Maker 👹🌿
🔸 This week, I added Bactewx together with Orgatrex to the watering can—in just the right dosage, because she reacted calmly and showed no signs of stress. No abnormalities on the leaves, new shoots are compact and vigorous. I waited until everything was completely dry.
🔸This week, the good lady was also topped, otherwise I left her mostly alone.

Schnabeldino 📅 Week 4 | Days 21–28
Day 28 – Monster Maker 👹🌿
🔸 The Monster Maker lives up to its name. It is compact, rich green, and very uniform—a really beautiful, broad bush. The shoots are strong, the internodes short, and the canopy is closing more neatly every day. You can tell that it took the training in stride; the stems are already well hardened and are visibly increasing in girth. The soil life also seems well established – it drinks rhythmically and without any problems.
🔸Care is unremarkable, it reacts calmly to the watering regime so far. The leaves are mostly healthy; a few older tips show minimal “kissing” – nothing dramatic, more a sign that it is working properly. New shoots are vigorous and close together, just as I want them to be.
🔸The light is now set to 12/12. The transition is going smoothly: the crown is nice and even, the perfect basis for a clean start to flowering. I expect a controlled stretch with many tops of equal height.

@Mrs_Larimar, Yes, I think so, but luckily they won't stay in there for long. Everything that's in the soil should be enough for the first few days. She didn't like being repotted very much; it took her a few days to settle in. Now she feels really comfortable. 😇
