Schnabeldino 📅 Week 1 – Day 1 - 7 🔸Bananakin has come through the first week well. 🌱It looks healthy, is a rich green color, and has developed its first pair of serrated fan leaves in addition to the cotyledons. The stem is currently rather slender and slightly stretched, but it is stable. 🔸The one-time initial watering with Bactrex and Orgatrex was completely sufficient; after that, the substrate was allowed to dry out in between. At first, it was a tad too wet, but now it's fine again. 🔸A very solid start. Fresh color, healthy growth, and an overall vigorous impression. Schnabeldino 📅 Week 2 | Days 07–14 Day 14 – Bananakin Skywalker 🍌🗡️ 🔸 Soil prep: I mixed in Bactrex to kick-start the beneficial microbes. In the planting hole I sprinkled a small pinch of Mycotrex so the roots meet mycorrhiza right away. The transplant went smoothly and the root ball stayed intact. In addition, two Bio tabs were inserted into the soil about 10 cm deep to the right and left of the root ball. 100 g of Startrex. 5 g of Mycotrex 🔸 Shoots/Leaves: Deep, healthy green with short internodes—compact and happy. Banani grew a little crooked, so I had to fix it a little. 🔸 Summary: A smooth, microbe-boosted transplant. Visually, she looks great again—rich, deep green foliage and a beautifully compact, even bush. You can tell that she has coped well with being repotted and the minor stresses involved. Everything seems to have settled down in the pot too: the soil life is now visibly working harmoniously, the plant is stable and drinking reliably. 🔸Last week, I added Bactrex together with Orgatrex to the watering can—in exactly the right dosage, because she reacted calmly and showed no signs of stress. No abnormalities on the leaves, new shoots are compact and vigorous. 🔸I have now set the light to 12/12. The transition seems smooth: internodes remain short, the canopy is nice and even – ideal conditions for a clean start to flowering. I am already looking forward to the first small buds. The bush has opened up nicely, the side shoots have caught up and are closing the crown almost completely. From above: a dense green carpet, even without any outliers. The foliage is rich green, the leaves firm and neatly aligned. 🔸 Stretching has begun but remains well controlled. Internodes are short to medium, the tops are largely maintaining their height – exactly as desired. The first fine pre-flowers are appearing at the nodes, the 12/12 switch is taking effect. 🔸 Foliage continues to be “tucked” so that light can reach the center and air can circulate well. Schnabeldino 📅 Week 6 | Days 36–42 Day 42 – Bananakin Skywalker 🍌✨ 🔸 First flowers! Fresh, white threads are appearing on almost all shoot tips – the bud shape is clearly visible. The internodes remain compact, resulting in many tops of equal height on the surface. Stretching is still ongoing, but controlled. The crown is nicely rounded; the highest tip is roughly in the middle 38 cm range. The structure appears stable, side shoots have caught up well. 🔸 Foliage & vitality: Rich, dark green, leaves “pray” slightly upwards. Only a few older fans show minimal signs of wear – completely uncritical. 🔸 Light adjustment: Increase PPFD to 800 µmol/m²/s. Is now under a Spider Farmer 100 Watt, as it has a better red spectrum. 🔸 Continue gentle leaf tucking to allow light into the center. Light lollipopping at the bottom and 2–3 large fans removed to improve airflow and bud sites. Schnabeldino 📅 Week 7 | Flowering Week 2–3 | Bananakin Skywalker 🍌✨ 🔸 Bananakin Skywalker is thriving this week – strong, healthy, and full of life. The buds are coming in beautifully, with fresh white pistils popping up all over the canopy. Her leaves are deep green and slightly glossy, showing she’s perfectly dialed in and happy with her environment. Overall, she’s in great shape – balanced, vigorous, and clearly entering that exciting stage where the buds start filling out fast. When the big tent is free, she will move, and then the humidity will definitely decrease. 🔸I did a light lollipopping session this week – all the small lower budsites were removed since they wouldn’t get much light anyway. Now she can focus all her energy on building up those top colas where it really counts. 🔸She’s drinking heavily, definitely showing her appetite as the flowering picks up speed. The flowers are filling out nicely...healthy white pistils shooting in every direction, ready for their next growth spurt. She clearly approves no burn, no fuss, just good vibes and healthy growth. She’s standing sturdy and confident, with a compact, bushy structure that carries her many budding sites with ease. The side branches are strong and have no trouble supporting the increasingly weighty flowers. 🔸The buds are packing on size, showing off a gorgeous mix of deep green and subtly purple tinted sugar leaves. The main colas rounding out beautifully and instantly draws the eye. Overall, she looks well-balanced, powerful, and very harmonious in her build. The buds are coated in a thick layer of clear-to-milky trichomes, and the resin production is clearly in full swing.tiny sparkling crystals everywhere, already hinting at a strong, flavorful terp profile. 🔸The upper half of the plant is glowing with vitality—dark, rich greens and zero signs of stress. Some of the lower fan leaves are starting to yellow, So I'll give her another light top dressing of silicium flash or prepare some tea. I also ordered more predatory mites. I still see a few thrips, but it's not too bad. Schnabeldino 📅 Week 10 (Flower Week 5–6) Bananakin Skywalker🍌✨ 🔸This week, my Bananakin Skywalker completely surprised me. I knew it would be good, but what it's delivering right now is just insanely beautiful. The buds are already so heavily frosted that they look like they've spent a night in the freezer. Even the large fan leaves glisten as if they've been dusted with sugar. That's exactly how it should be! The play of colors is simply amazing: these deep purple, almost black leaves contrasting with the bright green, fat buds... and then the orange-brown hairs that are slowly taking over. It looks like a comic book character in plant form – fitting for the name, everything somehow fits together perfectly. 🔸I'm really proud of this little one. The Bananakin Skywalker looks so promising right now that I'm almost getting impatient. If it continues like this over the next few weeks, it will be absolutely top-notch. Schnabeldino 📅 Week 11 Flower Week 7–8 Bananakin Skywalker 🍌✨ In the garden of stars, she is the brightest 🔸...this week, the little one caught me again. I step into the tent, the light comes on... and there she stands, as if she's completely aware of how good she looks. The buds are now so firm and precisely structured that they almost look sculpted. Thick, heavy flowers nestled close to the main stem and side branches, absolutely harmonious, absolutely powerful. Those dark purple, almost black leaves frame everything so beautifully that I sometimes just stand there and stare. You don't get a plant like this every grow. 🔸 I'm starting to feel like I've dusted the tent with powdered sugar. The frost continues to increase and is no longer just sitting on the buds like a coating, but is climbing over every little leaf as if it wants to turn the whole plant into a snow queen. Many trichomes are now milky, some still clear...a really beautiful intermediate stage that shows: she is right in the middle of her journey to full maturity. When I get close, she sparkles like a star field. And yes... I regularly catch myself doing this. 🔸 She stands there like a queen. No drooping leaves, no fatigue, nothing to worry about. During the day, I keep it at 23–24 °C and 50–55% humidity, and at night the temperature drops to a comfortable 17 °C .
