GroloCup Hand cracked this one after a 2 day soak and a day in a paper towel, 24 hrs later were up. Added my little Grodan plug to the root maker juice and we're about to blow this one out. This strain was named in honor of me by Brother Geoff and it'll be an honor to put this one thru the Groloponic experience. Happy Birds Fly Higher!!!!

GroloCup Solid week, she's starting to hit her first growth spurt so it won't be long before she starts to spread out. I'm going to keep her trained a little bit and see what she can take. GroloCup Shes in the fast lane and got the hammer down now. Look at the growth over 2 days once I hit that sweet spot with the nutrients. Geoff has definitely checked off some boxes with this girl, the vigor and structure are on point, she's definitely oozing some strong skunky terpene early on as well.

GroloCup She's rolling along! I've defoliated, used a few LSD clips and lollipopped all the lowers that usually become larf come trim time. She's really starting to put off some dank odors and a little color is creeping in as well.began adding Bud Booster and a pinch of CalMag Pro to give a little bump during this transitional period. I've also moved her to the 3x3 to provide a little more light. I'll run the base MegaCrop at 1.7-1.9 EC, then adding Bud Explosion by .2 EC, then the CalMag Pro by .1, adjusting to 5.7 pH. Also adding a bit of Hydroguard for overall root health.

GroloCup Hammer down and rolling! She's giving me color and starting to show a little early frost. This one's gonna have legendary bag appeal and is starting to really put off a nice funky stank. I gave her a light defoliation and removed a few more lower branches that were never going to provide much for end product. Lights at 100% plus the supplemental UV-IR and I'm maxing out the nite strength to push her along even further. If she finishes flower like she started, you should all ask Brother Geoff to re-release this one so you can get in on this action.
Noticed a few spots on the leaves, looking like either my pH pen was in need of a calibration, or I overused the CalMag and have a little toxicity on the nitrogen, so I'll back off a little with the nutes and just feed the base MegaCrop at around 1.7EC and keep the pH at 5.7, hopefully clearing up the situation.

GroloCup Blasting off to another week of power growing in my Groloponix DWC1 and MegaCrop for the win. Cut off the CalMag due to nitrogen toxicity, pushed too hard as she was hitting full flower. No harm and a quick fix, so now just running the base 1 MegaCrop and Bud Explosion and she's just grooving along. This one's got an earthy funk with the dark purple, should be an absolute beauty when she's all finished up. Thanks again to Brother Geoff for making this one for me!

GroloCup Think I've got her solved, and she certainly doesn't care for nitrogen at this point in flower. To be honest, I've found less is more with her and she's steadily stacking and swelling. Beast mode activated and she's got an absolutely noxious funk to her, extremely pungent, definitely working the carbon filter.

Shawn Burgundy may be the most stunning plant I've grown, deep purple buds, excellent bud spacing, solid bud structure. I only used a handful of LST clips to allow some space between the branches and main stem and the results were phenomenal. GroloCup She's been a joy... Except for the fact she was an absolute hog for CalMag once flower got going. I was able to match her needs eventually, but the foliage took a hit with the spots. Massive rock solid purple buds, with a smell like someone fertilized a berry patch with manure. It's more pleasant than the words sound π€£
I have never heard of either the strain or the breeder but those plants are looking absolutely stunning here in week nine. What an impressive grow. I could not have guessed how they would look from the earlier weeks. Keep going! Awesome grow!
@UnorthadoxDude, she definitely made a turn once I exposed her to my bigger light. The buds are now starting to bend the branches, so she's still bulking up. I appreciate the kinds words.
