Paflucy Hello to all the old-school veterans :) A very interesting project is coming up for sativa lovers. These are quite old seeds, so let’s talk about them a little. Dinafem - Diesel I think these seeds are at least 5 years old. I bought them at a local grow shop about 3 years ago, and that was already a good few years after Dinafem had shut down. I dug them out from the bottom of a basket full of old stock :) That day I also picked up a few other curiosities, like Moby Dick from Dinafem or Remo Chemo from Dinafem. I’ll probably get around to those projects someday, but today it’s not about that. Only 1 out of the 3 seeds germinated, but I still have 2 left in the freezer. DNA - Lemon Skunk I bought them about 3 years ago. It’s a pack of 3 seeds, and as far as I know DNA hasn’t been producing these for some time, so these seeds are probably around 3–5 years old as well. I have to admit, I’d been hunting for this Lemon Skunk for quite some time and it was always out of stock, so I’m really glad I finally managed to get it. I’m really excited that I’ll finally get the chance to see what this legendary strain has to offer. 1 seeds - 100% germination succes! Humboldt Seed Organization - Blue Dream I’d been thinking about this strain for a long time, but I always ended up choosing something else. Then Humboldt shut down and there was a bit of despair, but about 3 years ago at a local grow shop I dug up a forgotten pack of Blue Dream from a box of very old seeds. Even back then we figured that pack was around 5 years old, so today it must be at least 8, if not more. You know, it’s one of those boxes of old stock—strains that were ordered for someone, never picked up, and ended up forgotten at the bottom - lucky me! :) I’m doubly happy because I only took 1 seed and it germinated, so I still have 4 left for later :) Barney Farms - Acapulco Gold About 3–4 years ago, I got this pack as a freebie when buying some other things. Since it’s an old Barney’s package, I suspect the pack is at least 8 years old. I don’t have any expectations—we’ll see what surprises this genetics brings. Great germination rate after all these years—100% success from a single seed. Sensi Seeds - Jack Herer I bought this pack about 3 -4 years ago as well. My friend took 2 of them, and none of the seeds germinated. Surprised, I wrote to Sensi Seeds to ask what was going on, and they told me that it wasn’t the freshest pack, so that might have been the issue. But since it wasn’t purchased directly from them, there was nothing they could do about it. I suspect this pack is at least 5 years old. For me, germination was 100%—I took just one seed. Since these are old seeds, the process looked a bit different than usual. First, the seeds went into the freezer for 3 days. Then they were placed in a glass of water—they immediately sank to the bottom. After 24 hours, I did a pre-crushing and placed them on a damp cotton pad inside a ziplock bag, then into a box where the temperature was 25–26°C. After 48 hours, the sprouts started to appear, so the seeds were transferred to the first small 0.25 L pots. The soil was well watered with a mix of Rhizotonic + Orca + Great White Shark Even though the germination process went wonderfully and the girls quickly emerged from the soil, they showed low vigor and slow growth. They’re currently one month old, and… we’ll skip over the vegetative period for now, because I’m a bit disappointed with the slow growth. I had hoped to finish the veg phase in 3–4 weeks, but it looks like it will take more like 6–7 weeks. I’ll share more details closer to the flowering stage, which isn’t too far off :) Seee yaa soon :)

Paflucy Heloo everybody :) We’re now in week 6 of veg, and the most important changes before flipping are ahead of us. But let’s start from the beginning... There are two separete 15L Autopots. Since Pot Divider doesn’t work with the AirDome, only the partition wall from an Pot Divider was used to divide the container. So, each 15L pot is shared between two strains. Each 15L pot is filled with a mix of: 50/50 Light Mix with perlite 75g Startrex 75g Silicum Flash 10g Mycotrex 15g dolomite (magnesium + calcium) 3–5 cm bottom layer of pebbles 2 tablets 2 AirDomes, one per plant – 1L/min in cycles of 45 minutes on / 15 minutes off + Great White Shark under the root during transplant What was left from the prepared substrate (plus half a tablet) and didn’t fit into the Autopot went into a 3.5L pot, where the Lemon Skunk ended up—since it’s an extra plant due to the slow Diesel… So far, the plants have been hand-watered because of their slow start, but by the end of the week I’ll turn on the Autopot system—I was waiting for everything to stabilize and be on the same level. Hand watering mix: Orgatrex + Rhizotonic + King Krab + Carboload + 1g Bactrex every 3 weeks Since the girls were growing very unevenly, I finally decided on mainlining to 4 tops—today was the last cut. I think I’ll wait about a week for them to grow a bit and then flip them to flower. Only the Lemon Skunk in the separate pot was trained Uncle Ben's – style. Well, I’m a bit impatient and overzealous, so I put two clones into one Eazy Plug, hoping they’ll root—then I’ll transplant them too a small pot :) That funky figure in the 1L pot is Early Skunk from Garaz Seeds. A friend kept them for a month in “pots” the size of an Eazy Plug cube! I felt sorry for them, so I adopted them and… I figured we’d do a bit of experimenting, a bit of training—let’s see what comes out of it :) The lamp is set with sunrise and sunset over 50 minutes, starting at 30% and ending at 35%. Interestingly, Jack Herer has already shown its sex—it’s clearly eager to start flowering. I’m a bit disappointed though, because only the Blue Dream’s leaves really show those true sativa genetics. Cheers :)

Paflucy Heloo everybody :) Today marks exactly the end of week 7 of veg, and tomorrow I’m switching to 12/12. Things dragged on a bit, but overall I’m quite happy with the girls’ condition—there were moments of doubt along the way. Lemon Skunk stalled for about 7–10 days at one point, but now she looks great. In my opinion, Uncle Ben’s Cut is much better and faster than Mainlining. You can really see it with the Lemon Skunk, which is much more vigorous despite being in a smaller pot, and in the end she’ll also have 4 tops. What’s more, while the girls in mainlining are building their 3rd node, the Lemon Skunk is already working on its 5th/6th. The girls are slowly starting to build their third node, so I think height will be optimal—since we know they speed up a lot after the flip. It’s going to be tricky to fit everything in, because this tent is really small... Jack Herer, Diesel, and Acapulco Gold have already shown readiness to flower—white pistils have appeared. The Autopot has been running for 5 days now. The tablets are definitely dissolving, as the plants are very dark green. The clones showed roots on day 10/11, and by day 14 they were transplanted into 1L pots—let’s see how they do :) The adopted Early Skunk from Garaz Seeds are stretching upwards, and the training isn’t over yet :) Cheers :)

If you Mixed Silicium flash into the soil there IS No need for another fertiliser- only add water. In later flower May BE some additional pk needed

@Mia_BIOTABS, I decided to add Orgatrex because I figured the tablets weren’t dissolving quickly enough. I was also influenced by a friend who was giving 20 ml/L and had beautifully green plants all the time. I thought that was too much, so 3 ml/L shouldn’t do them any harm. yeee I’ve got Bio PK :)

@Mia_BIOTABS, probably some old school Indica like discontinued Blackberry from Nirvana seeds. Thanks for your interest :)
