The package arrived safe and sound and I immediately went to work unpacking and taking pictures. (Btw, a HUGE π to Zamnesia and the Carriers for their services! My order arrived sooner than expected.) If I want to present something nice on halloween, she is going to need to germinate as quickly as possible. Prepared a 20L pot with a little bit of CalMag and Microbes and stuck the seed in, pointed side down. Closed up the hole and put a lid on it.

Okay, so I realized this week that a couple mistakes were made on my part:
1. Aphids found their way into the tent again. This is seriously frustrating!! I cleaned and disinfected both tents as well as the lung room, after having harvested the Pink Gelato.
2. Besides the overwatering from the first two weeks AND the accidental CalMag overdose (0.3ml/l - 1ml/l), I also should not have switched back to CalMag. My tapwater is hard enough with more than enough Ca. Switched back to Epsom Salt (0.3g/l).

Was gone from home this week (Sun. - Fri.) with no-one to tend to the plants. Watered the plants as usual, removed the risers and filled the drip trays up to the brim. That worked!! All three plants survived my business trip!!
She grew nearly 15cm in 6 days and she's not even in the stretch yet. First signs of pre flowers are showing now!! π

I missed that part of the strain description and assumed "Fast" also meant "Automatic".
Yeah, I won't make that mistake anymore.
She's in the flip since Monday the 17th.
To assist with this, I have introduced an additional 2ml/l of Bloom into her diet.

I think this is the beginning of a potassium deficiency. The near neon green discoloration is what caught my eye. This leaf is affected the most.
Second week of flower. The Alga Bloom was just increased from 2 to 4ml/l earlier this week, so she should be alright. Right?
either k or p, on the deficiency side IMO. microbes can def help you get out of this a little quicker. You can even do an innoculation dose with microbes for beneficials then brew a protozoa dose to reap the benefits quickly
I usually get this on the from mid to late flower transition if I cant be a ph hawk on my hydrotek, for what that is worth.. severity is plant depending
General long term over dosing of nitrogen..........but yes, a developing potassium deficiency.
Old leaves won't recover, but new growth should be ok.
Remember too, what is showing in the leaves now, is a direct reflection of what was happening in the root zone 2-3 weeks ago..........
K-def is certainly a possibility. The leaves do look overly lush and curling = overfed, too. So, lockout is also on the table.
if you are a soilless grower (i see promix used), start tracking concentrations and making systematic adjustments to avoid such problems in the future. If you pay attention, upper thresholds are easy to hammer out and avoid. "Boosting" is a bro science thing. It's not foie gras. Can't force it's metabolism to increase beyond providing a good environment and letting genetics do their thing.
Yeah dude I feel ya lol, I just got the first indication of thrips AGAIN π€¬ππ, thrips and aphids are still not the worst, good luck with the mofos, what are you using to get rid of them?

@Spike-GreenGrower, Mostly, I brought some big fans to blow extra air afterwards and that helped keep them in check, but im going with predators this time and I'm doing it before flip if possible, can't risk an infestation during flowering as the options are less than during veg, I'll wipe every leaf down end of the week and place a couple of baggies with predators.
At least now u know that a fast version is a breed between automatic and photoperiods. They still need the light cycle but they will flip faster to flower and flower over all faster⦠quiete nice to see the comparison outdoors. The fast version starts some weeks earlier to flower.
But the pant looks really good πβ¦ cloud become a little bit stretchy but looks promising. Looking forward to see the flowers.
