BOTAN1ST All 6 seeds have germinated, 4 were out after just one day, the other 2 took 2 days longer. 100% germination rate. Awesome! We put them into Root Riots from Growth Technology. We're excited about the Hazys 👍

BOTAN1ST We should have repotted them a bit earlier. Due to the delayed repotting, they are now a bit smaller than they should have been. But they will catch up on that :) The light cycle has been changed to 12/12 so the plants stay small since they will bloom a bit longer. It's a test, especially the Nevill's Haze, which has a 16-week flowering period, shouldn't get too huge. We're curious to see how it turns out.

BOTAN1ST This is the first week since switching to a 12/12 light cycle. So far, no flowers have appeared, which is completely normal and will likely take a few more days to show up. The plants are thriving in their 3.5L containers and are growing quickly. If we had transplanted a bit earlier, they would probably be a bit further along by now. However, since these are Sativas, it's not a big issue. In fact, this might even help keep them a little smaller, which could be beneficial in the long run 😇

BOTAN1ST We’re now in the second week of flowering. The light cycle has been reduced to 9 hours, with 30 minutes of simulated sunrise and sunset to ease the transition for the plants. In this grow, we’re experimenting with shorter light durations, since we’re working with vigorous Sativas. The goal is to help control their height and encourage more compact growth. So far, they’re responding well to the changes and are looking healthy 🌿💡 Starting from day 23, additional blue light with a wavelength of 440 nm will be used to slightly reduce the height. We’ll probably top the Superlicious Sativa and the Nevills Haze. The Superlicious is currently growing the fastest, which might suggest it’s the "Diamond" pheno. As for the Nevills, it’s already a long bloomer (about 16 weeks), so shortening it a bit shouldn’t be an issue. -------------------------------------------------------------- 25.10.2025: Unfortunately, the Tangie has turned out to be male. We’ll move it to a separate tent to continue growing and attempt to cross it with a small cutting from the Superlicious, if the cutting takes root. A new strain will be born: Superlicious Tangie 😎

BOTAN1ST The Superlicious Sativa has been topped, as it had already grown quite tall. We may also top the Nevilles Haze soon, as it’s starting to show some vertical growth as well, and we want to keep it in check. The male Tangie is now producing pollen sacs and is still allowed to stay with the girls “for now.” However, it will be isolated soon to prevent any unwanted pollination. The Super Lemon Haze, Superlicious Sativa and the CBD-Chronic have finally shown themselves to be females. As for the others, we’re still waiting to see their sex. Overall, things are going well. The plants are healthy and thriving. 🌱💡 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Unfortunately, the Tangie has started to show hermaphroditic traits, which makes it unsuitable for breeding projects. But that’s okay — there’s always next time! All the other plants have confirmed their female status and are now entering a phase of rapid vertical growth, gaining several centimeters in height each day. We’re considering trimming the Neville’s Haze soon to keep it manageable.

BOTAN1ST The plants are now fully into their stretch phase and growing rapidly in height. Bud formation has begun, with the Super Lemon Haze and CBD Chronic leading the way, followed by the Silver Haze and Superlicious Sativa. Neville’s Haze, on the other hand, is taking its time — her buds are developing the slowest, and there’s still not much to see yet. The smaller plants have been raised so that all can receive an equal amount of light. Overall, everything is going very well so far — the garden is healthy and thriving. We’re still considering topping the Neville’s Haze to keep her under control… 🌸💡 ------------------------------------- 06.11.2025: We topped the Neville's Haze and left a side shoot, as it grew rapidly in height and was visibly growing faster than the others

BOTAN1ST The Super Lemon Haze, CBD Chronic, and Super Silver Haze seem to be reaching the end of their stretch phase — their upward growth has noticeably slowed down. Neville’s Haze and Superlicious Sativa, on the other hand, are still shooting up vigorously, gaining a few centimeters in height each day. So far, all plants remain fairly neutral in scent except for the Superlicious Sativa, which stands out with a fruity, sweet-and-citrusy aroma - intensely fresh with a touch of sweetness. Very intriguing! 🍋✨ There might even be a faint hint of mint in there - it’s hard to distinguish from the citrus notes, but there’s definitely something extra going on. ------------------------------------------------------------- Okay, it looks like the plants aren't quite done with their stretch phase yet. After the last watering, they’ve been growing like weeds again! 😄 Let's see where this take

BOTAN1ST The plants are doing really well, and luckily, there have been no signs of deficiencies so far. We added a bit more soil to the pots since there was still some room left. When it comes to smell, the Superlicious Sativa is definitely the number one - it's got that unique aroma that stands out. The Neville's Haze just keeps stretching and stretching, so we’ll have to see how far it goes. We might even need to train the branches a bit to manage the growth. Let’s see where this takes us! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Superlicious is slowly changing its smell to something more diesel-like or even a typical workshop scent, with a sweet, fruity background. It's funny how it's evolving! 😄 Also, the Silver Haze has developed a very distinct bubblegum scent. Didn't expect that! It’s turning out to be quite the surprise. 🍬

BOTAN1ST Most of the plants have finished their stretch, but the Neville's Haze is still growing a few more centimeters every day. It seems like it just doesn’t want to stop! 😅 The Superlicious has continued to evolve and now has a very distinct diesel or fuel-like smell, with a fruity undertone - it’s really interesting! The same goes for the Silver Haze. While it still has that pleasant bubblegum scent, the diesel/fuel smell is definitely coming through now. It's funny how the scent has changed so much! 😄 The Lemon Haze is relatively neutral in smell, and the Chronic has developed a warm citrusy note - fresh and pleasant. Overall, it’s still exciting to watch! What stands out so far is that, despite being mostly haze strains, the plants have stayed surprisingly small. The short light cycle and the small pots seem to be working really well. It’ll definitely be interesting to see how they turn out!

BOTAN1ST The plants seem to have finally stopped stretching; even the Neville’s Haze is slowing down and starting to focus more on bud production. Unfortunately, it’s lightening up a bit — the whole plant is turning a slightly lighter shade of green, but I guess it just needs more nutrients. After all, it has five main colas, while the others only have one each. The other plants are getting thicker and slowly packing on the buds. The resin production is also picking up everywhere, which is always exciting to see! ----------------------------------------------------- Since the stretch is now over and the plants are focusing on bud production, we’ve turned off the blue light and instead turned up the Sanlight a bit more 😎 ----------------------------------------------------- All the plants are developing well, except for the Neville’s Haze. Unfortunately, it’s showing the same issue of the SexBud as in the last two grows. The upper leaf veins are showing necrosis, turning brown. I’m not exactly sure what’s causing it; it could be too much light or some kind of nutrient deficiency, but it’s hard to pinpoint again. Since the plant has overall lightened up as well, we decided to transplant it into a 7L container. Nothing beats fresh soil for giving it a fresh start 😇

Interested to see how this experiment goes with the shorter light cycle. Best of luck!
