DortmundGrow Hello and welcome,
this is my third grow in general and my first grow report... I apologize in advance if I forget to mention something.
At the end of September, around September 19-20, 2025, the seeds were soaked in a glass of reverse osmosis water for about 3-4 days... until they visibly sprouted 1-2 cm, and then transplanted into the 11-liter final pots. The substrate used is Biobizz Lightmix 70% + Plagron Perlite 10% + Dimikro Terra Preta Plant Charcoal 10% + Dimikro Vegan Bokashi Complete Fertilizer 10% NPK = 3.4/1.2/1.4 ... which should be sufficient in terms of nutrients for the veggie. I also inoculated the seedlings with TNC-MycorrMAX Mycorrhiza when transplanting them and sprinkled enough of it into the hole. If nutrient deficiencies occur, liquid fertilizer can be used to supplement.
Currently, the girls are watered every 2 days with:
100 ml UO water + Biobizz CalMag to EC 0.2 + Hesi Zyme 0.5 ml/L + Terra Aquatica Root 0.5 ml/L + Terra Aquatica Seaweed 0.5 ml/L + Terra Aquatica Natural Mineral Silicate Powder 0.2 g/L
and are developing relatively well in a constant environment of 24-25 degrees during the day, 21-22 degrees at night, and 23-24 degrees substrate temperature, with an RLF = VPD of 0.7.
During the vegetative phase, they are all in a 60 x 60 tent... better for the microclimate :)
That’s it from me for now... see you next week!

DortmundGrow Hello and welcome to my second week of vegging.
So far, everything is going great... the ladies are developing very well and have made good progress this week, with the Gelato & Haze also catching up a bit 👌🏻.
PPFD = 250
DLI = 21
VPD = 0.9
Distance... Lighting adjusted from 70 cm to 60 cm above the tops of the plants at 60% power.
I now wanted to increase the lighting by 100 PPFD each week to approx. 600-650 PPFD and then move them over to the large tent under the Kingbrite P55... basically to start flowering and ripening 😎
I had to deal with some fungus gnats during the week, so I threw a few more yellow sticky traps into the tent... but at least it doesn’t seem to have gotten any worse.
I wish everyone successful grows throughout the week!
With that in mind... see you next week 👍
DortmundGrow A lot has happened with the ladies in the last few weeks, so they still look a bit stressed... I'll comment on that in detail in the coming days.
Until then...
DortmundGrow Hi everyone,
Slowly but surely, harvest time is approaching... probably another week until the first partial harvest.
I have four strains and want to get the maximum effect profiles out of them, so I will harvest each plant individually in two stages.
--- First harvest of each plant at approx. 10-15% amber content (top-heavy). ..
--- 2nd harvest when the amber content is around 35-40% (body-heavy) ...
Then, after curing for 6-8 weeks, I'll have 8 different “effect profiles” instead of the usual 4 ... The ladies have also become extremely juicy this time, with Purple Haze developing the most resin pearls ... really AWESOME! 👌🏼
The ladies are currently maturing... I started with cold drops to 17.5-18.5 degrees the night before last, anthocyanins are already working on the Z-UP... although it's a light strain with a slightly reddish color and generally purple coloring on all of them 😍
Trichome check yesterday evening:
- Lemon Cherry Cookies & Z-UP... approx. 4-5% amber... already forming small clusters
- Purple Haze... approx. 1-2% amber... still sporadic
- Gelato... approx. 80-90% milky... lagging 1 week behind due to later flowering
Current parameters:
- VPD --- Day = 1.3 / Night = 1.2
- Temperatures --- Day = 21-22 / Night = 17.5-18.5
- PPFD currently upper canopy (peak) = approx. 600-650 ... middle canopy = approx. 450-550
- Exhaust air constant at approx. 30-35% ... Recirculation with 3 Ventis, but moderate on a low setting ... as the terpenes & trichomes should not be destroyed.
That's all from me for now... we may see each other again at the end of the week with a partial harvest and corresponding photos. I wish all growers out there every success and bountiful HARVESTS! 👍🏼
On that note... see you then 👩🏼🌾

DortmundGrow Good evening everyone,
the time has finally come... the wait is over! The first partial harvest at about 10-15% amber can be done tomorrow morning before the regular light phase + the second remaining harvest at about 25-30% amber can be harvested roughly 4-5 days later.
Tomorrow morning, I will first take only the top buds... down to the middle canopy, then the rest can still ripen for another 4-5 days for increased effect profiles 👍🏻
Since I haven't used a controller in this run, the efforts of the last few weeks regarding accurate manual settings and especially light control, like dimming up and down according to sunrise & sunset times in connection with IR (Emerson effect)... or light pushes (resin trigger)... alongside targeted UV-A exposure to push trichomes & terpenes... have been very high.
But, as you can see from the photos, the efforts have paid off... the ladies have become incredibly juicy and resinous, which I didn't think was possible... many resin pearls on the plants where the sugar is now being pushed out of the beautiful buds because the plants are producing more resin than the trichomes can hold... that's sensational and exactly how you want it 👌🏻
The drying + subsequent curing for 6-8 weeks will require a lot of patience 🙈
In the last few weeks, I took a bit of a gamble... I stayed at a constant VPD of 1.2 during the day and 1.1 at night to maximize resin production, but I also thought ahead about airflow, intake and exhaust, as well as moderate circulation to minimize the risk of mold... it was tricky in bloom with 55-58% RH 😁
Due to the sensational resin formation currently at the end of bloom and the resulting risk of mold, the dehumidifier is now running constantly at 38-42% RH (sweet spot).
That's it for now from my side... I will check in later this week with new photos and wish all growers out there in the wide world much success and big HARVESTS 💪🏻😎
UPDATE 06.01.2026:
I did the partial harvest this morning and the result is SENSATIONAL... now just a proper slow drying with accurate curing of at least 6-8 weeks... and I am really looking forward to the final result!
