So I just posted all of these this week, so Ill give a little more background for documentation’s sake and those curious.
Started with 30 beans. Selected down to 19 in veg by vigor and further down to 15 after culling males. The passion berry, deadstar and star pupil are feminized - the rest are regs, so should have some pheno variability.
I made a few different types of living soil at the beginning of this grow due to the a availability of different composts. All roughly 1:1:1 base(reclaimed living soil):aeration:compost with appropriate amount of amendments from a coots kit on buildasoil. Composts are my homemade bokashi based quasi-vermicompost, OLY Fish or NaturesLivingSoil concentrate.
I use cal mag and Neptune's Harvest fish hydrolysates drenches and foliar in veg to balance deficiencies and top dressed before flower with Organic Maine lobster compost. Just applied my first homebrewed compost tea made with worm castings, OM lobster, NH hydrolysate, kelp meal, and black strap molasses and looking forward to a second half(+) of flower.
Most of veg was under COBs, but I upgraded to meiju qb288s for late veg and flower - loving them!

Just wow. Was out of town all week, my gf caretaking. I bubbled compost tea with my new BubbleSnake from TeaLAB. Recipe for 4.5gallon:
1c worm casting
1c OM Lobster Compost
1/4c black strap molasses
Tablespoon Kelp Meal
10 mL Neptune's Harvest Rose and Flowering 2-6-4 Fish Hydrolysate
Bubbled frmo 36-48hrs
Grow has been explosive and not seeing any deficiencies. Trichomes being thrown out on the fan leaves. Slay😈

They really loved that Compost Tea, to say the least. Good to see easy organic methods are cheap too. The last few plants in the big tent (note: star pupil is actually about 7 days younger than everyone else) got defoliated late last night.
Considering whether it would be beneficial to defoliate once more. The canopy is becoming evermore dense very quickly.
F44 Fed 3x3 and ScrOG aloe vera water, defoliated some bigger leaves from the ScrOG blocking bud sites
F45 Going to take a handful of very large leaves from the 3x3 tent. It's really hard to do this when they are covered in trichs lol.
F47 Lightly defoliated the 3x3
F48 Got a macro and wide angle lens set for my iphoneX ! :)
F49 Ok, Things are going well. I'm spending far too much time taking pictures. Going to limit myself to two updates a week from here on out. Woof.

5.20 F56 - Went out of town for the weekend and things held up great. Gotta love having wifi timers and sensors that can be checked from across the country.
Pretty interesting seeing things develop this past couple weeks. We are turning the corner towards harvest for some of the early finishers, so I'm putting my performance under a microscope. It looks like I'll be pursuing this as a career soon, so I've gotta continue refining to make sure things transition smoothly.
1) No more mainlining. I love the symmetry of this technique, but it does stress the plants and delays vegging more than I care for. I've had a number of plants that I felt were stunted, even if only slightly, from the mainlining. The taller plants I have have two nodes saved, and I think I'll experiment with keeping up to 4 or 5 nodes. I also found that it's pretty easy to split a trunk when the weight is distributed across a mainline. You really got to be careful.
2) No drinking and watering LOL - Half joking but I came home after being out playing some pool with friends and decided it was a great time to water my babies. Well, did a stumble and fucking fell right into like 4 of them. Fortunately they had the peony rings, so not totally destroyed. But I did split the trunk of both my Dread Breads : Even though they were quickly taped up and supported and recovered fully, they hermed and seeded a bit. I noticed the seeding was isolated to the colas supported by the most damaged branches, so I'm really kicking myself for this one, though the crop is still waaaay healthier than my last harvest
3) Veg a week longer. I didn't get the height I wanted out of these, though they did have nice stretches. I was afraid of running out of lateral space, but ended up having a couple more males than expected. I'm really happy with the 3x3 and ScrOG, but I'd have liked some lankier ladies in the 4x5 give I have another 12"+ of space for them to grow into.
4) Mother-> clone-> pheno hunt with reg seed. Make/use fem seeds for single strain tents and big cropping. I love the discovery and variety that comes with popping seeds. I also love the feeling a maxed out canopy gives me. But as most more experienced guys have found, and is really common knowledge I guess - it's not practical to grow for weight with a lot of different strains in one tent. It's also not possible to learn about the stability and expressed traits by taking individual reg seeds to harvest. Granted I'll have to wait for my new facilities, but I intend to start growing reg seeds to select mothers from. Clone to acquire sufficient n plants to get an idea of the traits of the flower, then select my favorites and make fem seeds from them. I prefer (atm) to grow from seed, and to have seeds as insurance against losing traits I like when a mother bites it.
5) Keep daytime temps at 82 degrees. Massmedicalstrains preaches this for LED growers and I think my observations concur. I've had some brief and slight Ca/Mg/N imbalances and these were remedied by bringing my temps up from 75- 82 during the day.
6) Aloe water - shit is amazing for organic living soil growers. Saponins SAPONINS. lol I use these shitty fucking molecules in a lab setting and they are dangerous as shit to inhale in concentrated forms because they cause pores to form in cell membranes. (so like imagine the mucous membranes in your nose and throat being shot point blank with little molecular bird shot (shotgun shell)) It's all the rage. Aloe is a great surfactant and relatively cheap to buy in fresh leaf form and process yourself. I noticed my bags held onto water better after using it, which I was very grateful for when they started guzzling during flower.
6) IPM works. Be clean. Use companion plants and bugs. Predator mites WORK yo. Lady bugs work. Consult experts. Read shit.

7) Stupid things I feel like should have been obvious: pull air out of the tent through the carbon filter. If you push, even with a decent pre-filter, your fans and carbon filters will degrade and clog more quickly.
Meh, I think that is all I got atm. Wish me luck through the finale. Satan willing, we shall reap many rewards and melts from our dark labours to ze flower of joy. 😈

5.27 F65 - Everything has been going well this week. The plants went through a feed cycle that should carry them through flower no problemo. Started with the AACT Tea, then a bokashi drench with Fish Shit from Fishheadfarms and plain water from here on out. They are drinking quite a bit. 1.5-2 gallons a plant every 3ish days. The terps in my tents smell out of this world. The ScrOG and 3x3 are like a candy store. Passion Berry has mango/guava citrus terps while Deadstar v2 has strawberry watermelon terps. The 4x5 is much more varied, but in general the sweet pink dominates with it's grape candy terps and the dread bread cuts through with it stanky gassy lemon while the prayer pupil smells like moth balls and a bit of GMO. Very lucky to get to experience this much variety.

Oh, um hi. ^^ I don’t really remember that. Shit just comes out of me sometimes. Gotta go get my chakras checked. Uhh. This week finished up strong. Turns out I can’t count, and it has actually only been 65 days since 12/12. So yeah, they aren’t taking as long as I thought before. A few plants have really slowed/stopped their pistil output and are starting to amber over. SROG, Deadstar, a couple Passion berrys and 1 sweet pink. That’s all for now.

Started chopping and pre-washing late Thursday into the early Friday morning.
Three buckets - 1) 1/2c lemon juice, 1/2c Baking Soda 2) water 3) water - seems to have worked really well, buds are very clean and the the water definitely had a bunch of fiber and dust. They drip dried for an hour or so before being moved into the dry tent which has been between 60-70F and 50-60rh
Took down most of the ScrOG Passion Berry and Deadstar from drying and froze. Gonna wash some tonight to see if it pulls well.
The last five plants have been in dark since monday morning, so will cut, wash and hang tomorrow.

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator.
I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . I'm not sure I'll go through all this effort of documentation here again, but please follow along on my instagram, stay in touch and chill out with me sometime @Fullmeltalchemist.00
All in all, I was running 1000w of quantum board across three tents and pulled just over 1100 grams, which was a big goal of mine.
Thanks for all the advice and love growmies! And thanks growdiaries for the platform. It's been coo.
