π§ 30 L Barrel β Current Working Mix

Step 1 β Calcium Nitrate (Part A)
7 L warm water (~35β40 Β°C) β added 45 g Calcinit, stirred until fully clear.
Thatβs the calcium + nitrogen backbone for the feed.
Step 2 β FERMAKOR PK Base (Part B)
15 L water in the main barrel β added 30 ml FERMAKOR PK Concentrate, mixed well.
This forms the main P + K part of the formula.
Step 3 β Combine Solutions
Slowly poured the Calcinit mix into the barrel while stirring β no reaction, still crystal clear.
That confirms the mix is stable and precipitation-free.
πΏ Step 4 β FPJ / FFJ Batch
Added 30 ml homemade FPJ (fish + veg batch) β 1 ml/L.
Color shifted to a light-amber tone β looks alive and active.
π Step 5 β Citric Acid Balance
Added 1 tsp citric acid after everything was blended to fine-tune pH and help chelate micros later on.
π¦ Step 6 β Top Up & Check
Filled to the 30 L mark with plain water β pH tested with drops, showing yellow-green β roughly 5.8 β 6.0 range.
Nice clean look, stable smell, no residue.
π§ Current Status
First day feeding the Fantasy Feast girl with this base mix.
Too early to tell how sheβll react, but so far everything looks clean and balanced.
Ca + N from Calcinit and P + K from FERMAKOR should be plenty for a gentle start.
Citric + FPJ round it off nicely.
Weβll see how she takes it over the next few days before deciding if she even needs the urea and micros.

27.10.25 VW27 noticed some min burnt tips so I decreased Calcium Nitrate 45 to β 40g, decided to add two more elements micros and Epsom salts just to make sure they got everything, Fetrilon Combi 1 (Micros): 0.5 g, Epsom salts: 8 g
28.10.25 VW27 she seems devoid of any deficiencies, seems ready for the flip to 12/12

@tantrumrage, Not sure in this case to be honest with you as I'm doing it for a first time with this ingredients, but I whip it up every day so no air stone, my usual mix holds for a week max in the summer, it's usually empty before it spoils with 2-4 plants, winter a a couple of days longer, I'm going to have to try out and keep notes I guess. βοΈβ₯οΈ
@tantrumrage, MAXIMUM a week lol, depending on ffj/fpj inputs or whatever kind of organic you might use in combination, 3rd day I usually have to adjust my pH again.

@Natrona, Yeah I think so to, nutrients seem to be working fine for now, even if it doesn't end up perfect by the next grow or the grow after I'll be spending pennies per grow instead of the cutthroat prices they charge for bottled nutes.
